geoffrey Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 A call is being made for Premeir Lord of NB to prove allegations made against a former Tory MLA or resign.http://www.atlanticcanadalive.com/content/view/20/2/ Since when its it the governments responsibility to prop up an area that is a big drain on our country already. Give the money to people that can use it to advance our economy, not to keep a failure centre alive for political points. Time for some people with backbones to stand up to the 'gimme gimme' idiots that are quite common across Canada. The ignorance of some amazes me. Who the hell is entitled to handouts? I stand behind Lord, people need to give him way more credit for the success of the province. Quote RealRisk.ca - (Latest Post: Prosecutors have no "Skin in the Game") --
shoop Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 I think Lord must be kicking himself now. He would have had a very good shot at winning the CPC leadership had he jumped into the race. Now he faces losing a minority vote. tsk tsk tsk Guess we'll have to see if he can resurrect himself. btw, McKenna started NB on the road to success, but Lord does deserve credit for keeping things moving in the right direction. I dont think Lord is in THAT dire straits. He will have a fight on his hands, thats for sure. But its one that can be won as long as he fights the campaign with the same passion he showed in 1999, and not the lack luster effort he put forward in the last campaign. Quote
