In San Ysidro, some 16 miles south of wealthy San Diego, crossings were up 85% in February from the previous year compared with Texas, which saw illegal entries dip during the same period. The BBC's US partner CBS reported that in January, the border crossing in Del Rio, Texas, recorded a few hundred apprehensions a day - compared to 2,300 daily migrant crossings in December.

So Texas starts enforcing the law and the law breakers shift strategy to where law breaking is allowed. Go figure.

Well, that's obvious...when people hear a bridge us out and no chance of crossing, they head for another bridge. Nothing nefarious , just a change which way their shoes face.

That is in March. We were talking about Feb. And we were talking about what works, not what some rogue justice thinks is illegal.

Texas has deployed National Guard troops and state police officers up and down the Texas border since 2021, and began stringing concertina wire along the banks of the river the next year. What changed last month in the park, known as Shelby Park, is that Texas began preventing federal agents from routine access to the riverbank or from using the park to detain and process large numbers of migrants.

That is how the month started. It didn't matter how wide spread it was. The fact that they might be sent home sent them to Cali. Hell, half of them are flying to the border to cross any way.

California is rich in crime and anti-American values. Every criminal invader should be tripping over itself to cross over there.

Nothing new here. This stuff should be common sense. 

When you have someone like Biden and the Democrats take office, where they immediately enact something like 90+ Executive Orders to weaken our border security policies, they openly encourage illegal immigration through action and words. Guess what? More people flock to the borders.

So if the border laws are actually enforced(by Republicans), team Biden will just encourage the illegals to stroll across at another location.

I don't see how you could arrive at any indication that President Biden is involved ...he has no part at all in making border laws, that's up to the House and Senate.  He only gets involved when the bill has been hashed to death by the two parts and the MAGA's have stuck their paw in everything to try and screw it up.

I must point out that there was a period of time when Biden and the Democrats controlled both the Senate and the House after he won in 2020.

He's losing on all fronts, his attorneys who were promoting still the farce that he is still president were all indicted today on grand felonies in Arizona, the Supreme Court is not sounding like they will be backing the immunity claims Trump wants ,  and the PEW Research is out on who us still supporting this loser and he again has lost several (more) percentage points on whether or not they would vote for him. The PEW Research centers itself on both sides viewpoints...not just one side.
