justcrowing Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Will Paulie-boy form a coalition?Thoughts? Ramblings? Highly unlikely since Martin resigned. Also, too much Liberal baggage and who knows what the Conservatives may well uncover and this is Martin's graceful opportunity to distance himself. Quote

cybercoma Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 How about Belinda Stronach for speaker of the house? Quote
GostHacked Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 well after 12 years od liberal rule, this may shake things up a bit. I am against Harper winning really. I am also ashamed of myself for not voting. I totaly forgot about it which is dumb considering how much I read here. I would have voted NDP. I know they won't get a minority let alone a majority, but they do provide a good balance to the overall government. So in this I congratulate Harper on his win. Protips : - Please do not touch the GST, it's a cash cow for the government, and when it comes down to it, the GST was just an increased hidden tax in the cost of goods anyways, so now things are priced less, but tax more. Before it was little high on the price but little tax. Overall it costs the same. - More money into health care would be nice. Wherever it is needed. The above can really buy us a kick ass EFFICIENT health care system accessible to all. - Leave the gay stuff alone. It's done. - Don't let Quebec and the Bloc wall all over you. Seperation = treason . Quote
normanchateau Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 - Don't let Quebec and the Bloc walk all over you. Seperation = treason . Now that he's picked up all those seats in Quebec, he honestly believes that the secret to getting more is to suck up to the BQ and pour money into Quebec. Adscam proved that Quebecers can be bought. Brian Mulroney proved that Quebecers can be bought. Quebecers are outraged at the Liberals for proving that they can be bought. Harper's treading on dangerous ground if he wants to reaffirm what's already been proven. Quote
sage Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Norman I think you're bing a little naive. Who can't be bought? The entire Atlantic region has a significant portion of its GDP coming from the federal government. Quote
