"Conservateur/Conservative" wich is the real conservative party.... imagine if we had to vote between: "PLC" and "Liberal"... Selon le Bloc québécois, dans un bureau de scrutin de la circonscription de Papineau, un employé donnait les noms exacts des candidats libéral et conservateur, mais affublait la candidate bloquiste d'un mauvais nom de famille, ce qui risque de causer l'annulation du vote lors du dépouillement. Comme les directeurs de bureaux de scrutin sont nommés par le parti au pouvoir , Vivian Barbot y voit de la magouille. «Donc, on s'imagine bien que le gouvernement en place a à coeur de nommer ses partisans», exprime Mme Barbot. Une plainte comprenant deux témoignages a été déposée à la fin décembre à Élection Canada, qui a décidé ce dimanche d'y donner suite. Les 146 électeurs qui ont déjà voté par vote spécial lors de la première semaine de la campagne et qui auraient ainsi pu être induits en erreur sur le nom de leur candidate, pourront reprendre leur vote. Il s’agit d’une procédure exceptionnelle, soutient Élection Canada, mais ce n'est pas suffisant pour Vivian Barbot. «Nous avons demandé une période beaucoup plus longue que ça parce que nous avons des représentations à l'effet que cette situation-là a perduré jusqu'au 4 janvier. Au moins, il y a une acceptation très claire du fait que notre plainte est fondée.» When you vote by anticipation you need to write dow the name of the candidate and the employe that say the names of the candidates to the voters was caught saying a false name for the Bloc candidate in a circonscription wich mean all those vote wont count. August1991 Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 First point: The Progressive Canadian Party is running 25 candidates of which 3 in Quebec (including Heward Grafftey, minister under Clark - he says he wants to go to Ottawa and die.). The full name of the party appears on the ballot. I don't think this is a problem. Second Point: Here's a link and a (translation). This is weird, and a mess. In early votes, there are no printed ballots with candidates' names. So, the voter is supposed to write the candidate's name on a blank ballot. The poll's returning officer was mistaken in reading out the name of the Bloc's candidate. About 150 ballots are concerned. BTW, this is Pettigrew's riding and the vote will likely be close. Quote

That is so rich. When are the Alliance going to admit that they bought membership in the PC party just so they could flood the votes to merge the two parties? And when is Harper going to pay Orchard the $70,000 owed to him from donations to his leadership bid for the PC party? And let's not even mention Peter, pants on fire, Mckay. Charles Adler said he was talking with Peter Warren who was working with the RCMP and some computer people tracked down the Canadian source of thefake emails Good work on the part of the RCMP on this issue.
