Is the Canada Health Act already dead?

On this forum, we have had many discussions about health care.

IMHO, it is impossible to discuss health care on a public forum because it becomes ultimately a discussion about death - an existential discussion.

Women are a large user of health services in part  because of child birth. A few people require health care throughout life and women typically care for these people. Whether men or women, the greatest health care costs occur at the end of life. By some estimates, 90% of our health insurance is spent in the last three weeks of life.

I prefer RomneyCare but I oppose ObamaCare. I oppose the Canada Health Act. Each province should decide its own health insurance policy/system.

In fact, at present, this is what Canadian provincial governments are increasingly doing.

What is the point of belonging to a country if everyone goes their own way?

And if we can all manage our own health insurance policy/systems why can't we manage our own fisheries?

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.
