ABC Poll: Biden Has Lowest Approval in 15 Years, 71% Say Economy 'Bad'

Recommended Posts

Most democrats will never figure this out, but it's the truth: wokeness can only get you so far. ;)

"President Joe Biden has the lowest job approval rating of any chief executive in the past 15 years, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll found.

Biden's approval rating is 33%, the lowest since then-President George W. Bush in 2006-2008, ABC News reported. Biden also has a 58% disapproval rating.

Such negative approval/disapproval numbers could suggest support of the current House GOP's investigation of Biden's alleged influence peddling and potential impeachment."

This goes for the neocons, too. Some of you f*ckers look and act just like the woketards; isn't that right, Michelle Softener? ;)

The hardcore left continue on in complete denial of the sea change that is happening all around them.  But at least 1/3 of Biden voters have woken up to the disaster their party is in.

It’s due to a steady drip, drip , drip of decisions, results and jaw dropping embarrassments.  The Administration’s heavy handed Covid response.  Social media shutting down and banning  free speech.  Billions for Ukraine and none for the border or disaster stricken areas.  The Biden admin changing the definition of what a recession is, so they can claim there hasn’t been one.  Allowing gender change for children behind the parents backs.

Drying up Ukraine aid and then blindly supporting Israel.  Lying about the real inflation rate and unemployment rate.  Three years of blaming everything on Trump instead of taking ownership.
It’s been an unmitigated disaster.  The good news is, it’s finally waking people up to the reality that Trump was better.  He’s looking better and better.  Hence the multiple court cases against him.  Lawfare.  That’s all they’ve got.  And had he actually done something illegal they’d have thrown him in prison years ago.  So he’s clean…

You've pretty much nailed it, sharkman.

These ldiots are so steeped in denial that they've become complete TDS zombies - the neocons as well; they're also involved by way of inaction and facilitation for the democrats.

So, on top of these awful approval numbers, it turns out that Biden is a warmonger.  He wants to defend Israel to the endth degree.  His administration has recently warned Iran over 3 American service member deaths.  And then we have the growing spat with the Texas border and the Texas national guard.

So, rub together the warmongering, the awful poll numbers and the fact that this is an election year.  What do you come up with?  Are you able to think critically?

Honestly while all those things are a factor i think at the bottom of it all is people are looking around and not seeing things get better. And they see the dems as ignoring those issues that are really important to them.

And that's death for any politician to be honest.

Ah, could you take a look at today’s post, and tell me what you come up with?  This part specifically:

So, rub together the warmongering, the awful poll numbers and the fact that this is an election year.  What do you come up with?  Are you able to think critically?

The vast majority of Dem voters are isolated enough from the truth that most of that doesn't matter.

Are you trying to suggest that the Dems are planning to pull Biden off the ballot this year after the option of a legitimate nomination process is no longer available?

Quote

His administration has recently warned Iran over 3 American service member deaths.

It's a time-honoured tradition. When the Iranians killed a single contractor who was protecting the embassy in Iraq Trump killed Suleimani and another Iranian general.

Biden has already let 165 attacks against US bases slide, if he lets this go unpunished he really will win the pillow-biting award for the 21st century. This is like watching a housecat stealing a gazelle carcass from a lion with a mopey look on his face and a burgeoning diaper.

I’m suggesting that it’s going to become an asset for Biden to use his military to manipulate voters, like Bill Clinton used to do.

Clinton would bomb Iraq to get Americans to rally around the flag and be more supportive of his administration.  Or to bomb during days of news that was damaging to his campaign or even just his administration.

I honestly don't think he's got the balls for it.  And i'm not sure his supporters would be happy about it.  I think they would claim he was dragging them into a war

I'm praying to God that doesn't happen.

I'd rather give the Joker 100,000 lbs of TNT and a cloak of invisibility than see Biden lead the US in a war.

So what’s the alternative? Let Arab terrorists win?

You think a bunch of terrorists who kidnap babies will just conquer Israel and stop there? They’ve already got Iran and Afghanistan; they aren’t stopping, dude. They send weapons to Syria, Yemen, Palestine and they’ll send them here next.

And Putin won’t stop if he conquers Ukraine. He’ll move his armies West.

We can never be sure what’s going on in Ukraine, but Biden has sent something like 180 billion over there so far.  And there have been American military operations there for much of that war.  Probably special forces, those pipelines and such aren’t going to blow up by themselves!

I don't get your opposition to the Middle East. You go after it like a conservative does, but then you turn around and say something really stupid like "Putin will move his armies West" when there is zero evidence of that.

What gives?

I’m not sure how people can claim the economy is worse than it was. By many measures it is improving. One key question - how are you personally doing? - elicits a much more positive response than questions about the economy in general. Most people are not economists and anyone watching Fox News would reasonably think America is in a catastrophically bad state.

So the economy is doing quite well. However, Biden’s credibility took a serious whack today with the release of the special counsel’s report.

https://apnews.com/article/biden-memory-age-special-counsel-report-doj-f4232bc8316e556ed467185b67c3e0a8

In this century at least, a political system on British lines tends to weed out those no longer hitting it out of the park at the major league level long before they reach Biden or Trump‘s condition. Regular televised debate with peers, under rules where misleading parliament is a serious matter, lets a lot of sunlight in. By contrast, America’s model looks as antiquated and unfit for purpose as its current leaders.

Reciting facts usually does it.

By many measures it is improving.

Not by measures that matter.  It's artificially propped up right now by stimulus spending but that's not real and it comes at a huge price later.  And it doesn't benefit the average person.

The vast majority of people say they're getting worse.

https://financialpost.com/news/economy/record-canadians-economy-wrong-track

In fact it's worse than it's been for generations.

Many people now spend over 40 percent of their income just on housing - if they can afford it at all. Anything over 30 percent is considered poverty level.

For younger people the only hope of ever affording a home of their own is inheritance.

Our quality of life is nosediving against other countries - we used to be in the single digits, now we're down in the 20's somewhere and falling.

Get your head out of your ass and look around you. People are suffering. They can't afford food properly. They can't afford housing. There are middle class people who are homeless. And its' getting worse.  People are desperately praying 2024 will bring SOME sort of relief but if it does it won't be till later in the second half.

Yeash dude. There is a REASON PP is kicking ass right now.

Sure - that's canada but people in the states are noticing the same things.  Food prices mortgage prices, etc etc. they're going up and they shouldn't be.

That's why trump is also leading in the polls. Biden should just be happy he didnt' screw up as bad as trudeau :)

Putin will take whatever he can. That’s his mindset. He’s not very bright and he won’t change his thuggish outlook now. The Baltic states are preparing for war, as is Finland. If Trump wins and abandons NATO I fully expect a larger war in Europe started by Putin.

More or less - i was editiing it to tie the two together as i'd intended to but you posted before i'd done the edits. I'll give you the fast version :)

I answered with canada becuase we're both canadian so can relate to the question you asked from that perspective, but at the end of the day the people in the states are feeling the same thing for the same reasons.  Just not as bad as us.

And the positive indicators there are not real - they're a result of massive stimulation which doesn't help the average person and only makes things look better on paper.

Which is why trump is doing better than biden in the polls, just as pp is doing better than justin. Biden's only saving grace is he hasn't screwed up as bad as justin

Biden's Navy has been intercepting those attacks which therefore did no harm. And retaliation has been waged, even though you are oblivious to it.

A timeline of the Houthi attacks that led to US and UK airstrikes

Quote

23 November

US officials say the USS Hudner shoots down drones launched from Yemen.

29 November

The USS Carney intercepts missiles fired from Yemen and shoots down what US officials describe as an “Iranian-made” drone headed towards it.

3 December

US military officials say three commercial vessels come under attack in international waters in the southern Red Sea, as Houthis claim drone and missile attacks on two Israeli vessels in the area. The USS Carney shoots down three Houthi drones.

9 December

Houthis say they will target all ships heading to Israel, regardless of their nationality, if Israel does not allow the delivery of “the food and medicine it needs.”

12 December

Houthis target a Norwegian vessel with a land-based cruise missile, causing a fire to break out on board. In response, Israel announces it will deploy one of its most advanced warships in the Red Sea.

16 December

The Pentagon says the USS Carney shot down 14 drones launched by Houthis over the Red Sea.

18 December

Attacks against commercial vessels in the Red Sea begin to intensify. Houthis announce two more drone attacks targeting cargo vessels in the Red Sea: MSC Clara and Norweigian-owned Swan Atlantic.

23 December

The US shoots down four drones launched from Yemen and headed towards a US destroyer in the Red Sea. Houthis nearly hit a  Norwegian oil tanker with a drone and strike an Indian-flagged crude oil tanker.

26 December

Houthis launch a missile attack on an MSC container ship in the Red Sea and an attempt to hit Israel with drones.

28 December

The US shoots down one drone and one anti-ship ballistic missile in the southern Red Sea fired by Houthis. Reuters notes that it is the 22nd attempted attack on international shipping since 19 October.

31 December

US forces kill 10 Houthi naval personnel as they attempted to board a commercial vessel on three boats in the Red Sea.

3 January

The US and 12 allies issue a final warning to Houthis to cease their attacks on vessels in the Red Sea or face military action. “Let our message now be clear: we call for the immediate end of these illegal attacks and release of unlawfully detained vessels and crews,” the countries said. “The Houthis will bear the responsibility of the consequences should they continue to threaten lives, the global economy, and free flow of commerce in the region’s critical waterways.”

4 January

Houthis launch an unmanned surface vessel that detonated a “couple of miles” away US Navy and commercial vessels in the Red Sea, US officials say. Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, the head of US Navy operations in the Middle East, said it was the first time the Houthis had used an unmanned surface vessel since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.

9 January

Houthi forces launch their largest attack to date, with 21 drones and missiles fired towards the Red Sea. All of the projectiles were shot down by British and US forces. The Pentagon says it is the 26th Houthi attack on commercial shipping lanes in the Red Sea since 19 November and British defence secretary Grant Shapps says the situation “cannot be allowed to continue."

11 January

Houthis fire an anti-ship ballistic missile into international shipping lanes in the Gulf of Aden.

11/12 January

US and British forces launched airstrikes against dozens of targets across Yemen on January 11 in retaliation for months of attacks by the country’s Houthi movement on commercial and military vessels in the Red Sea.

Those attacks, launched by the Iran-backed group in response to Israel’s war in Gaza, have wrought havoc on international shipping and drawn the US and its allies into a regional conflict.

The Pentagon said 60 targets were hit using more than 150 precision-guided munitions.

AKA you are IGNORANT about what the US is doing in the Red Sea.
