Long ago, a former friend asked me to be a character witness at his attempted murder trial. I did note that the judge in the case disallowed certain evidence of statements by the victim. I asked her why it was blocked and and she said it was prejudicial. I assume that means it would lead to biased conclusions by the jury because there were more possible reasons than the most obvious one for making that statement. A lot of the Canadians who post here are not aware of the LONG HISTORY of criminal behavior by Trump and how he throws money around to politicians and DAs, to escape accountability. But mostly he just uses money to outlast his victims in court, who give up because they don't have the resources to stay in the fight.
