The whale preservation organizations in New England have not voiced concerns about wind loss harming whales. They would definitely say so if they were concerned.

True, every industrial undertaking consumes resources and has environmental impact.  Of course. 
 

But that does not mean all things are equal.  They are not equal. The environmental impacts and risks of windmills are far less than the impacts of any petroleum- or nuclear-based electrical generation system.

This thread is not about all things being equal. It is about the SINGLE ISSUE of offshore wind farms being a threat to the survival of a threatened species of whale. Certainly if whales were dying by oil platforms in the Gulf, you goose steppers would have flipped out and barbecued a few hundred Jews in your collective anger.

Right now, fossil fuels make it possible for you to own a computer and prove to people thousands of miles away that you are an idi0t. A week of windmill power wouldn't even be enough to boot up that thing.
