Trudeau's friend says Trudeau is a wonderful man and there's no need for inquiries

Recommended Posts

David Johson, whose lifelong fascination with China, his eagerness to forge closer ties with them, his complete lack of concern for their authoritarian government, his lifelong friendship with Trudeau, and his membership in the Trudeau foundation made him the perfect "unbiased" candidate to investigate possible Chinese interference and Liberal wrongdoing today announced that everything is wonderful, no member of the government had any knowledge of anything, and by the way, visit China! It's a great tourist destination!

Oh, he did express deep concern about the information from CSIS getting out to the grimy public, and said the government must work hard at finding the dastardly traitor who seeks to damage the harmonious relationship between Canada and his beloved China.

He will, however, conduct 'public hearings' where people chosen for their proper views will get to make those views known while he listens and looks thoughtful while conducting further fat paycheques.

When Johnson met with Erin O'Toole about the interference which allegedly took place while he was leader of the Conservative Party the report was already finished and had been sent for French translation...

“To set the scene, Mr. Johnston did not reach out to the Conservative Party, my office, or Pierre Poilievre’s office until the final week of his initial assignment. He waited until the very end to meet with the current and former leaders of the party that had been the central target of the foreign interference he was charged with investigating,” O’Toole wrote.

“You might understand how disappointed I was to learn halfway through my meeting that Johnston’s report was already undergoing French translation. I was flabbergasted and realized that nothing I was going to provide to the Special Rapporteur was going to impact his work,” he added.

Strategically, it would be stupid for the Liberals to sink an inquiry in this way, not to say that they're not doing exactly that.

Whatever way we look at it, as Johnson reiterated, most of the facts about what is going will not be revealed to the public.  The problem is we have national security law which apparently they use to redact or keep almost everything from the public knowing.  The Liberals have sucked up to China for years.  I don't see that changing.

Can you BELIEVE that absolute DONKEY crap?!!?!   Instead of looking into it he's going to travel to 'disillusioned communities' and tell them they shouldn't worry about it!!!

This is really beyond insane. The fact that the public is not up in arms over this and demanding trudeau's head is just horrific.

Gee, I had a security clearance over 40 years ago. Maybe I could get a copy for you and post it all over the Internet so every illiterate ploughboy could know what CSIS knows and how they found out.

Please do post it.  A fetid gasbag helping illiterate ploughboys . . . . can it get any more Canadian than that?

Which is a big part of current problems. Liberals are controlled by party line instead of the Canadian people.

Canadian Nationalism is fundamentally left wing, anti-British and anti-American

Marxist Socialist Hermit Kingdom, the vast majority of Canadians are Communist traitors

or cowards who decline to even say a peep about it

I understand that you are Bohemian

but you are a fool to be a Canadian Nationalist therein

as Canadian Nationalism is the Bolsheviks, fair warning

Dude...I was conceived and born in Lethbridge Alberta. About as Canuck as one can be. Both of my parents too. My grandparents were from the Slovak Hungarian border. My wife is Bohemian. Daughter too.

Canadian nationalism is easy. I go out in the country, breath in the fresh air, maybe fish some, take in the open space and quiet solitude and voila, instant Canuck.

This nation has everything it needs to succeed...except good leadership.

Canadians who say they were targeted by Beijing slam David Johnston: ‘Another day of being unheard’

Canadians who say they have been targeted by China expressed anger at Tuesday’s decision by former governor general David Johnston to reject a formal inquiry into foreign interference, saying that “toothless” public hearings will be unlikely to lead to action.
Johnston rejected calls for a public inquiry saying it would be impeded by the need to keep classified intelligence a secret.
“I have concluded it would not serve a useful purpose to enhance trust,” Johnston said, but said he would use his mandate to hold public hearings on how Ottawa can best respond to foreign interference activities in Canada.

Beats me.

I don't even identify as a Canadian anymore

I was born in the British Empire, under the rule of the British Crown,  by the British North America Act 1867

so I am British

and like any Briton, I can do quite well for myself, even in a land as foreign as the Post National State

Men who built a country. The one who pretends to serve but then turns his back when the real work starts is the coward, sycophant crony and traitor.

Sounds like you couldn't hack it and sold out. Sorry to hear you were too weak.  The rest of us will do the real work of building a nation. You snuggle in behind your excuses and try not to tremble.
