Believing in the idea of the "strong to rule" can have bad consequences. It implies that only the strong should survive and that weaker individuals should be left to struggle and possibly fail. This kind of thinking is reminiscent of Adolph's dangerous ideology.

One day, I was at my friend's house and noticed that his dog was having trouble climbing the stairs. My initial thought was to let the dog struggle and figure it out on his own.

However, my friend had a different approach. He went down the stairs and started motioning with the dog to come up. He did this three times, and on the third try, the dog finally made it up the stairs.

This experience made me think about the dangers of such thinking. While it may seem logical to let the weaker struggle and hope they make it in the brawl of life, it's important to remember that helping others is needed.

The lesson learned from my friend helping the dog that day extends beyond just pets; it's a reminder that ALL HUMANS have a tendency towards this kind of thinking, and one must actively work to resist it and try to chose different approaches.

  • It is true also, that sometimes, you need to let one figure it out by themselves, finding out when to assist seems to be the key. Sometimes too much assistance can also hurt, if one does not want to push themselves too. Timing is everything, is my estimation.

  • Contrarian changed the title to The Idea of The Strong to Rule

Coddling people doesn't help. Thats for sure. It creates not only a dependence, but also an entitlement on top of things.

When I see a single mom on welfare talking about: "they barely send me enough money..what about this kid?! Huh...what about this one?!"

Uh, what about you learn the ancient art of closing your legs or modern one of using contraceptives?

Going to China is often jarring for foreigners used to this coddling. You will see the elderly still working. Seeing a 90 year old pushing a heavy cart full of food or cardboard is normal. But the common thing is, they are for the most part, self sufficient. Still sharp. Still walking.

Our elderly by contrast, are mostly in elderly homes. Barely can walk for a significant portion, or are in near vegetative states in varying states of dementia or alzheimers.

Not to say that this is a western issue, its just that you will likely simply see it get staved off, due to activity.

I am insanely prideful. I would rather die, than ask for help for something I know I could do.

I definitely would rather die than ever ask for financial help.

My mentality is, if I make my bed, I am prepared to die in it.

I see it in younger employees. If I was new and inexperienced and a client was looking for planting pots. I would help them look. While looking would ask a co-worker.

Nowadays, you're likelier to get a clueless look. Have to tell a clerk to bag your meat separately from your fresh veggies, or have to explain things almost to the tune of doing the task for them.

IE while training a young person, I told him go install a bracket 20" high, one 40 and one 60". All along here, all evenly spaced all need to be straight and square.

He had each one at an angle. I had even placed it straight to show him.

Each angle was different.

This is what you get when you coddle too much. Am lucky. For me, the error was a quick fix.

Scary, are kids like this are winding up in politics.

So conservatism is ALL about benefiting the rich?!

Sounds like a point that only someone on the far left would make or maybe you are trying to copy my style of satire?!

Well, I don't believe in magical transformations or quantum leaps, so I can say with confidence that conservatism isn't all about benefiting the rich. It's about promoting individual liberty + personal responsibility + free-market capitalism -> values that benefit everyone, not just the wealthy few.

Of course not. And an unborn kid has not committed a capital crime and doesn't deserve to DIE .

The fault is the GOVERNMENT, which has replaced the father with payments for votes.

But, the best way to punish the parent is to make their child go hungry and grow up destitute!  That will show those slutty women!

Actually the best way  is to require that slut to WORK. Around the mid-90s, KKKlinton actually created a Workfare program, requiring welfare bums to work and kinda earn their benefits.

In inner city situations, the children STILL go hungry and grow up destitute, mostly because the welfare sluts use their cash for drugs. They sell their food coupons for cash to buy drugs. And those kids in fatherless homes wind up in gangs.

Actually, an ORIGINAL idea, a solution to the many welfare sluts is to require they IDENTIFY the FATHER of each bastard. A slut will either keep her legs closed or she will at least learn the name of who screws her and remember where he is.

Also, tag the father and the state can go after the father to help out. Most states (I guess, I only know about Florida's family law statutes) require child support from fathers, married or not. It is considered an entitlement to the child.

But you're okay with cutting social services that benefit children, even though you understand it's not their fault they were born into poverty?

I believe if I find 2-3 people that think me in the online environment, it will be the worst nightmare for the fringes on both extremes of the political spectrum. Both <- left and right ->.

Maybe you want to join? The path that you are on, has no destination. The House always wins, sister. As a former ideologue, it will be the worst nightmare for AntiFa and ProudBoys if I start recruiting from you. All I need is 2-3 and the mechanism that I have, will clean any online environment.

You are somewhat smart, probably writing from a dorm somewhere at Berkeley, but some of these trolls won't hold.

Because I remember, when I was doing the trolling for an ideology, a last nightmare was for someone to come in and punch them digitally right in the mouth, and keep doing it.

  • That's what happened with me one day, amongst many things which shaped me into the radical centrist today. I remember this one man on an American forum he wiped the floor with me, I even remember his username vividly, I hated him for months, until one day, with a career change, it landed me to the position that I am in today. He was correct about a lot that he said but I was too angry to see it.
  • Regardless of what these trolls say, that we are the same person, if you ever want to give up your failing ways and join the radical centrist, doors are open. As someone said it, it is only one man now, I am a patient person, eventually, 1 will come, and then 2 and digitally any trolls from the left and right won't stand. Is that easy. My idea.

Yup. Both the fascists and the anti-fascists. Both extremes, which are definitely the same.

Ira Glasser was a real anti-fascist that I remember. But at the same time, he knew practicality to fight fascism. The thugs that get arrested in the streets with their proud boys "friends" are not anti-fascists. They are fakers. Are useful to you though, they act as soldiers on the streets while getting criminal records and you get to type away as "AntiFa". Good deal you have going.

You seem to want to buy the fairy tale that children actually receive ANY of the money spent by social services. You actually believe that irresponsible sluts somehow change the habits that made them poor when given money they didn't earn.

PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE NOT AN ACCOUNTANT OR IN SOME OTHER IMPORTANT JOB.

Do you have evidence of the contrary?

Obviously you've NEVER taken a college Sociology course. (Which means you probably never attended college.)

It's all those left wing witches I talked about. I took Psychology, Sociology and Social Psychology, mostly because they were easy A's.

But down to your level, examine the evidence. (Uh, that means look at the facts.)

A stupid girl gets pregnant in high school and drops out. (According to Sociology, a lot of teenage preggers are daughters of teenage preggers as well, so it's passed down.)

This stupid girl is given food stamps, Section 8 housing, Medicaid, and welfare CASH, without having to EARN any of it. (I would say ask yourself what kind of person would be so stupid as to allow herself to be put in that situation just because she can't control herself in high school.)

She would live in the projects. (Unless somehow you know of some real estate listings in the rich sections of town where million dollar homes are available in Section 8 housing). She is around OTHER high school dropout dumbasses. (The more i think of it, I'm probably describing EVERY liberal at this forum. This place is starting to look like the projects.)

No education, no work history. How does she spend her days? How does she spend her money?

Sociology points to her situation as the reason WHY gangs are formed, (welfare children attracted to the gangs because it is a family.) And AGAIN, my Socio Prof was as left wing as they come, so she at least believed all of this.

If nothing else, look at the results. And also recognize that for EVERY tax dollar paid to the welfare, only about 25 cents actually make it to the recipient. The rest is eaten up by administrative costs.

If you are suggesting that somehow this dumb slut is somehow NOT responsible for her situation, you probably live in that kind of a household. I can't imagine a responsible adult thinking like that.

Cool, but you said: "You seem to want to buy the fairy tale that children actually receive ANY of the money spent by social services."

Do you have any evidence that social programs don't help the children in these situations? Or are you just talking out of your ass?

Maybe it's all that time I spent working in temp jobs for lawyers, (most of which were family lawyers.) My first degree was in Paralegal studies and I changed my major to Business Admin because lawyers are a$$holes.

You probably do not know this, but (at least in the state of Florida, and I can't speak for other states, but it's easy to look) child support is considered in law to be an ENTITLEMENT to the child. Child support is a different creature from Alimony because it is statutory and not subject to the whim of a judge. And guess what: THE CHECK is not paid to the children but rather to the full custody parent. And if the full custody parent is a woman, generally all that child support money pays the BILLS of the household, as well as her beer and cigarettes.

That's the family law situation. The Welfare state situation is a completely different animal.

I'll even go out on a limb and suggest that social programs (the slut promotion programs) have done more harm to children than good. Welfare is the reason why 75 percent of all black children born today are in single homes. Democrats replaced the black father with a welfare check, back in the Great Society days. A child born into a single parent home is NOT going to be as well off as one born with two parents.

The welfare check is NOT made out to the illegitimate child. It's made out to the mother. The food stamps, the mother. The Section 8 housing, IN HER NAME. And she entertains future fathers and makes future siblings for the cash cow children she uses to get all those freebies.

There is your proof.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger had an interesting take on that.

She said "I prefer human/religious society to nature.

If I see you lying down on the street, I'll call a doctor, have you picked up and given medical attention.

In a pure nature environment, you would be eaten."
