Have the Feds lost their minds completely

Like I said I spent some time up north (you chose to ignore this) and spent some time with the Dene they had oral traditions going back hundreds of years about migration , they told these stories to archeologists who went to the places they mentioned and found proof. Now that alone offers more scientific evidence then the entire bible

Back on topic. Thank you for giving this clear example of "indigenous knowledge".

"Yet apparently nobody is able to define what indigenous knowledge is."

Let me try and explain this to someone with your specific beliefs.

The knowledge of the indigenous is much like your Bible, a bunch of oral traditions passed on from generation to generation.

The difference is the indigenous knowledge pre dates what your bible claims to be the beginning of time and has not suffered from as much political interference in the last few thousand years

Younger Canadians have no issue with believing something NOT based in Science, or hard medical facts it is how they role today, Facts have very little to do with there narrative, They have no issue seeing Christians beliefs as nonsense, but can embrace things like indigenous oral traditions, or one million genders, or men can get pregnant or breast feed, then there is critical race theory, or the fact Canada is institutional racist , and all white people are racist or have some sort of privilege's and should be somehow made to pay for that.

The Reformation led to freedom of conscience and beliefs in the countries where it succeeded.  That led to democracy and human rights in Europe and then north America.  These things never happened in the countries where there was no Reformation like Spain, Portugal, Italy, central and south America.  They pretty well remained in darkness in many areas even to today.  Communist revolutions were common.  Totalitarianism in Spain.  Honduras just now is establishing close relations with Communist China and cut off relations with Taiwan.

Bible-believing churches don't believe that either.  I am not sure where you got that idea, but evangelical churches do not believe that kind of thing.

We got the idea because you keep saying your Bible is infallibly correct. Word for word. Please make up your mind.

But the Bible does not impose any particular day as a holy day on Christians and it actually speaks against it.

It's just one of the ten commandments, which Jesus and his troupe followed. All jews did/do that. Jesus was jewish.

Keeping the Sabbath only applied to the Jews during the age of the Law which ended when Christ was crucified on the cross.  Christians are not under that command since the crucifixion.

"16  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: {in meat…: or, for eating and drinking} {respect: or, part} 17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."  Colossians 2:16, 17 KJV

"

The Christian community as a whole does not keep the Sabbath because it was a part of the legal requirements of the Law, and according to the New Testament the Christian today is not under such legal requirements like circumcision, Sabbath keeping, even tithing. Instead, we are to produce the righteousness of the Law, the character of Christ, through the Spirit (see Rom. 6:14; 7:1-8:13; 2 Cor. 3:4-18; Gal. 3-5).

Further, there are no commandments or exhortations in the New Testament for us to keep the Sabbath. Rather, the early church gathered on the first day of the week in celebration and remembrance of the resurrection. This is evident throughout the book of Acts (cf. also 1 Cor. 16:2 and Acts 20:7). Acts 20:7 is the clearest verse in the New Testament which indicates that Sunday was the normal meeting day of the apostolic church. Paul stayed in Troas for seven days (v. 6) and the church met on the first day of the week."

Thats all good you agree with that,

but doesn't refute the fact

Jesus kept the sabbath

Shabat, Saturday

The Romans moved it to Sunday to appease the sun worshippers. Therafter they kept the sabbath for like 1700 years.

Now if somebody convinced you that it wasn't necessary anymore, it being modern times and all, I'm ok with that. Not trying to correct you.

Just my opinion, if you're a christian should do what Jesus does. Not whats told you, by the son of man. You might be fooled by the antichrist.

The federal Liberals are incapable of balancing a budget.  Like someone who eats to lose weight, this government spends to lower inflation and debt.  It’s a recipe for disaster, but it comes from a government that hands control of our country to foreign governments and believes that debts take care of themselves.

When Jesus was alive on earth, they were still under the Old Testament law which is why he kept the Sabbath.  When he was crucified that all ended and the age of grace began, which is what the Church is under.  As already explained, that means we are in a different dispensation and no longer under the Sabbath laws.

Sounds like excuses and lies told by Saul of Tarsus,

that great romanizer of Christ,

whom Peter and James disputed against,

who made christianity into a civilized thing,

Organized Religion,

Christianity Inc.

In so doing allowed the Romans to continue their rule,

including bringing on the inquisition that you hate, in his name no less.

That is the difference.

Northern Canada is an amazing place with some incredible people, it's so interesting to meet people from the same country that grew up with different traditions, history, spiritually etc...  Than that of western Europeans

And during the summer you can tee off at 9pm and still shoot 18
