Could you please make some sort of point?  That is connected to the title of this thread you’ve started?

I rewrote that three times, in an attempt to be dispassionate.  Success may have eluded me.

Buffett was born in 1930, in the midst of a cataclysm.

Nixon and Kennedy were born and forced to live through it.

Churchill lived through the entire period.

1914-1945 was a disaster for humans.

They have been killing each other in Ukraine, and have recently switched to killing each other in Israel/Gaza.  Next year it’ll be Taiwan.  The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Speaking of Buffet, are you aware that last spring he started pulling his money out of the stock market, and now has a reported 140 billion in cash sitting on the sidelines?  Which is the same attitude that Michael Burry has had regarding the DOW.

This upcoming recession appears to be one of those times that stocks/corporations and such are going to suffer a large drop, and the rich will swoop in and buy everything for pennies on the dollar.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.  Because human nature never changes, especially the human nature of the debt slaves, which is most of us.
