Putin: Another Napoleon, Hitler? Another Thirty Years War?

Recommended Posts

Every 100 years or so, Europeans kill each other.

The Brits/Scandinavians claim to be civilised - but they kill each other too.

In 1616-1646, major religious war.

Then 1789-1815, so called Napoleonic Wars

Then 1914 -1945 (Two World Wars? In fact, European Wars.)

====

Putin is no Napoleon or Hitler. And Obama, Trump, Nixon, Biden and Eisenhower, Roosevelt and even DeSantis are all truly American

========

Leftist Americans (eg. George Clooney, Hollywood) signal/pretend that Europe is civilised.)

I disagree.

America is largely peaceful. Europe is horrifically violent

Russia kills. Putin is a brutal aggressive tyrant, a like of Hitler. Russia is cheering for a bloodthirsty monster for the umpteenth time in its sad, useless history.

Russia is not European. There's nothing of Europe in Russia's nature, a brutal and violent Eastern horde that adores bloodthirsty monsters and worships them as a matter of habit and national entertainment.

Yes, Putin is Hitler. Acts speak.

After WWII Russia has invaded, occupied, terrorized and killed uncounted scores of people in her neighbor countries. The act speaks. No puffy, squishy pseudo philosophy can hide it now.

I guess by your logic, Biden is Howdy-Doody?

Western Europe is about the size of Ontario. In it are quite a number of completely differing cultures. The EU has attempted meld them all together. Several attempts at this have been executed. All failed.

Who's acting like Hitler again?

Western Europe has done rather well. The EU has been a major reason for no conflicts in the past 75 years.

Huh? The EU opened its borders to a deluge of conflict. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. The great EU has been raping central Europe all along.

Clearly you're posting from some other, alternative reality.

Yes. The real one. You know...the one that includes such noted European uniters such as Bonapart and Hitler.

How many conflicts have there been between EU members?

We can count those of Russia though already after the latest totalitarian collapse (so far):

1992: Moldova; 1999-2004: Chechnya; 2004: Ukraine (Snake island incident); 2008: Georgia; 2011: Syria; 2014-now: Ukraine.

That would be in this, real and factual reality. Russia has been all over her neighbors except (take a note here) those that managed to get themselves in the NATO.

Somewhat true. It's also true that the European people have conflicts with the EU regularly. Hence the huge protests. Like this one.

Somewhat untrue. They aren't exactly the same kind of "conflicts". Or anywhere near, like lightyears remotely similar. When was the last time an EU nation invaded another one, like in any of the examples above?

I don't have to "fool" anyone.

You do that to yourself..."fool".

You fool yourself. One of the primary purposes of the EU was to make countries so interdependent, going to war with each other would be out of the question. So far that has worked. Populists like you would blow that whole thing up and return to the kind of self interested nationalism that kept them at war with each other for millennia. The only European conflicts in the last 75 years have involved countries outside the EU.

So this looks like there's no conflict to you?

So what, some people are protesting. Happens all the time in free societies. You will end up in jail or worse in Putin or Xi land.

Membership in NATO or the EU is not compulsory, they can leave any time they want.

They might want to check out the disaster called Brexit first.

Czechs are surrounded by other NATO countries who will protect them in spite of themselves.

I will end up in jail? Please feel free to elaborate.

what is this link supposed to mean?

In Czech Republic a NATO former general won.

The other side made up by populists will protest now at every issue.

The West allows protests, unlike the Kremlin KGB agent that runs Russia.

It exhibits conflict towards the EU. That was the point right? Right.

The EU has raped Central Europe.

Blah blah blah...

You wanted conflict? How's hundreds of thousands in Europe, hell likely millions, dead set against the Gawd Damn EU and NATO.

Yet another attempt for a peaceful negotiation shot down by the Biden administration just today.

You're being herded over the edge. Gonna take that last step willingly? Or is "forever war" the goal?
