Hell dawson college only had one and he hit like 23 people. The attack on the legislature only resulted in 1 death and that guy had a rifle. It's actually easier to kill people suddenly with cars. Look at france.

OTOH Look at USA I guess in places with gun control like Canada and France it’s harder to get your hands on the kinds of firearms that are effective mass casualty weapons. I have over 30 guns sitting not more than 60 ft from me . Who told you guns were hard to get in Canada? And thats LEGAL guns, the bad guys have zero problems. As to france - paris 2015 would like to talk to you The bad guys get whatever they feel like and whatever is at hand and kill people. If you're so deranged that you've decided to kill people in large numbers you're going to find whatever way works best for you. Hell - many of the biggest mass murderers used a knife and did it one or two at a time. Then there's the kid in Alberta who went to a party, took a kitchen knife from the kitchen and killed 5 people before anyone realized what was going on. And of course there's this guy: https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/07/americas/saskatchewan-canada-stabbing-myles-sanderson/index.html Used a knife to kill 11 people. That's one of the highest mass murders in Canadian history. But that was a reserve - i GUARANTEE you there were hunting rifles and shotguns handy. So - doesn't really matter if they have access to guns or not, once a guy has decided to kill people they will find the tools
