In describing the naivety of the politicians, the German intelligence services said "Russia is the storm, China is climate change."

They also slammed the Government’s “Naivety” on Chinese Espionage.

What is your take? I even added option d) for some of you. Inclusivity for all. 😄

a) Russia and China are the same when it comes to threat level

b) China is the bigger threat

c) Russia is the bigger threat

d) I don't consider them threats, I want to be run by the CCP and the FSB as I don't like the current Western leaders.

MY BIAS: 2 communists posing as nationalists and traditionalists below:

*Do you see how Mr. Yi shakes Putin's hand? Shows you who is in control in my estimation. 😄 Body language is all in communication.

I am also going to add option e) Other, leave a comment.

User @Luz P. comes to mind, a peace of the world speaker who would have NATO drop the guard in the name of some ideal. That, or maybe pushing Russian confusion undercover. I am more positive, so hope is the first, peace of the world advocate.

Too good to comment with all the "War-Mongers?" 😎 Did you find the key to world peace so all humans renounce their ways and sing together like is a spiritual experience?

Anyhow, I added that option for you too.

They ate equal threats IMO.

@Nationalist, finally, taking a stand for the West! Did you see the light?

The West?

When did Ukraine become The West?

I'm saying they pose different but equal threats. Now that they have joined forces, The West has a serious problem.

And for what? I constantly hear that if Russia takes Ukraine, they will proceed to other NATO nations. But there is zero evidence that Putin and Russia want anything more than the Donbas region and we all know why.

I will not subscribe to more fear porn. The Rona proved that fear works, but has directed people to react in rash and destructive ways.

This time, if the fear porn wins out, the results will be devastating.

The conclusion?

Let cooler heads and rational thinking reign...before the cost is unthinkable.

My position remains the same.

NATO needs to stay the hell outta this.

Especially now that we see China supporting Russia. Between the two, The West would not have a snowball's chance in hell...

And I suspect most of them know it.

okii. That's because Russian bots put ideas in your head that the US is weak due to "social issues" "gender" "elites" and whatever other garbage comes out from the FSB labs.

The United States however, is a more advanced machine even though other medieval ways of thinking try to take advantage of loopholes.

Highly doubt the ilk above, even if united, can manage to challenge them as much as their fans will like to.

You can doubt it all you like but, how many times do you know of where a force was able to win on 2 separate fronts?

This is an obvious observation. You really should stop with the BS. Nobody needs any news agency to tell them the obvious.

That's because in my opinion, the Americans were gentlemen with the Europeans however if the situation will get aggravated and the CCP wants to get into the game, I think, the Americans who have military all over Europe will pick up a megaphone and ensure a lot of countries shape up and start participating a lot more than now.

It will be done diplomatically, the US is in such a status that they don't need to be thugs, they only need to release a public statement and Berlin-Paris will start delivering.

This is the reality of how the world of power works, you want other sheriffs around, I like the American sheriff.

and this idea to back down now? This is not a matter of me being a war-monger, is the fact that now the stakes are even higher now, the line of peace was crossed in my view a long time by some thieves when they decided to invade like the Ottoman empire during Medieval Times.

If NATO backs down now, the whole Western system is at risk. That will project weakness towards countries such as India that are on the fence.

Come to reality. That will never happen. It also depends politically on what the Ukrainians want to do.

That can change the equation.

This is your opinion. And you may well be right. I have a different opinion.

I think the US is forcing Europe to "get in the game". I think they realize that and don't appreciate it. To the people of Europe, all this war has meant is the cost of living has gone up substantially. I think most people believe that the US sabotaged Nordstream and are getting just a bit ticked off with the whole scenario. I think this power move by the US might well backfire on them and NATO may become splintered.

The western system is not at risk. It would be if they continue to deny themselves energy resources, but that's their own stupidity...and a sabotaged pipeline...

Poland seems to want to fight. Gawd knows why. Hatred I guess.

The Ukraine cannot win a war of attrition with Russia. No matter how many guns NATO sends. Thus NATO troops will be necessary. Will the people of Europe rush physically to the defence of Ukraine? Especially if;

A. They sort of need all that cheap gas and oil from Russia

B. All evidence shows that all Russia wants is autonomy for that eastern strip of land

Does the average Frenchman or German care about that, over cheaper and more abundant energy?

I guess we will see...won't we.

During a high-stakes U.S. surveillance flight, NBC News’ Janis Mackey Frayer gets a rare chance to see China’s military buildup just weeks after the U.S. shot down the Chinese spy balloon. A Chinese fighter jet came within 500 feet of the U.S. aircraft, as tensions flare up between the two superpowers.

the only existential threat is global thermonuclear war

which is a maritime conflict

wherein the nuclear submarine is the arm of decision

making Russia the far greater threat

simply because they possess the vastly more capable Soviet nuclear submarines & thermonuclear arsenal

Here are some inconvenient facts Putin should consider before getting too close to China:

here again tho, Russia has more nuclear submarines, more thermonuclear weapons

and Russia's nuclear submarines & thermonuclear weapons are superior in every respect

in the event of war, Russia could blockade China, backed up by overwhelming thermonuclear firepower

thus Chairman Xi would have the tiger by the tail so to speak

furthermore, Russia has the interior lines of communication

Russia can fight a two theatre war

Russia can transfer forces from Europe to the Far East and back

Russia has the Northern Sea Route through the Arctic

Russia can project maritime power with its nuclear submarine cruisers into the Atlantic & Pacific

and Russia has all the oil & gas it needs to fight an all out war

China on the other hand has very limited capacity to project power beyond the China Seas

and is totally dependent on oil & gas being delivered by the American defended SLOC's

Well, we can’t say Xi and his friends don’t have a sense of humour. He’s building one of the most totalitarian societies ever seen on earth, hegemonic from top to bottom, with a degree of surveillance and control Hitler, Stalin and Mao could only dream of, and a clear threat to all other nations, yet he and Maduro accuse the US of being hegemonic!

The Dutch national intelligence agency painted a grim picture Monday of a growing number of internal and external threats to the rule of law in the Netherlands compounded by Russia's war in Ukraine, international cyberattacks and espionage.

In its annual report, the General Intelligence and Security Service called China “the biggest threat to the Netherlands' economic security.

As Putin said about Koreans: "They will eat grass."

Are Americans willing to eat grass?

This is not the 1930s.

We are now - 2020 - in the world of Europe around 1910.

Before 1914, ordinary people could travel freely. And then suddenly the elite say we must defend the State,
