What's with these UFOs all of a sudden anyway?

It looks to be ramping up . . . .

China and Russia pushing the boundaries, Biden and Trudeau perceived as weak and ineffectual.

Interesting times ahead . . . . hang on, we're going for a ride !

Not to mention North Korea.

If anything's going to happen - it will happen simultaneously.

There can be a much simpler explanation much closer to home. Someone has been greatly disappointed of late with Western aid and arms slowing down their brutal invasion of a free independent country in Europe. Lacking the capacity and the nerve to attack NATO directly they just may have come up with this kind of annoyance strategy. A $100,000 missile wasted on a balloon stitched with snot and sh^t plus free publicity, sounds like a plan. NATO has been very careful around them, not to provoke of course (and that idea always worked great in the past) that just may explain the great conundrum of the origin of these aerial mysteries.

Could these UFOs trigger an emp attack?  In the other forum, someone muses there might be an emp attack on USA just before China hits Taiwan.

there seems to be some misunderstanding as to what an EMP attack entails

the EMP is created by donating a nuclear bomb in the ionosphere

the EMP is charged particles generated by a nuclear explosion

if the Chinese start detonating nuclear bombs over North America, the EMP would be the least of our problems

these balloons are only 60k ft above the ground

at that distance, it would simply be a nuclear attack

this would incite the Americans to launch their ICBM's

so that is not a winning plan for China

for the Chinese to launch a nuclear first strike against North America

they would have to destroy the American ICBM's in Montana, Wyoming & North Dakota

to destroy 450 Minuteman III's, they would have to hit them with nuclear bombs at ground level

this would require the Chinese to launch at least 900 nuclear warheads

with precision accuracy and complete surprise

the Chinese don't actually have enough missiles & warheads to pull that off

and they don't have the number of submarines required to achieve point blank no warning surprise

here's an NFB film from the Cold War which details what a nuclear first strike would be like

No, Biden phoned him and told him what was going to happen. Lol

This was one of those "You can put on your war stockings and pretend that you went silverback vs the balloon because we need another sovereign country to talk tough about balloon-shooting." It's a win/win for Biden and the turd, and the MSM will hail it as a major victory no matter what.

If Trump shot down those balloons it would be called an act of nuclear aggression against our trading partners, and the balloons would be called "The beloved freedom symbols of the Chinese people."

The lack of information here leaves one with fear and conspiracy theories.  Before they shoot the objects down, why don't the jets do a flyby and tell us what they see?  Are US pilots so dumb that they can't recognize an object?  Take a picture with a smartphone!  This is fear mongering by our governments at the highest level.

As he says in this clip

Octogons, cylinders, objects the size of cars? Sounds like the US is finally shooting at these mysterious little blips we've seen in grainy video clips.  These things are Chinese?  Okay.

I can't help but wonder what scientists have to say about it? I guess military scientists can't wait to get their hands on these things.

What is also strange is why does NORAD (the U.S. and Canadian forces) need the approval of Trudeau to shoot it down?  If it is a threat, why does the Canforces need to run around looking for Trudeau to ask him if it is ok to shoot it down?  Shouldn't the officers in the Canforces have the authority to make a decision like that?  It is a relatively trivial thing anyway.  Or have we become a one-man government and defence force?

NORAD is divided into three regional Commands

Continental NORAD Region ( CONR ) for the CONUS

Canadian NORAD Region ( CANR ) for Canada

Alaska NORAD Region ( ANR ) for Alaska

the Government of Canada retains authority over Canadian NORAD Region

in a time sensitive situation, if the Prime Minister cannot be reached, they go the next highest ranking official

the Minister of National Defence

if the MND cannot be reached, it goes to the Chief of Defence Staff

if the CDS cannot be reached

then Deputy Commander NORAD, who is always a Canadian,  at Colorado Springs, makes the call for Canada

I would hate to think Trudeau is the leader of Canada's defence in any serious situation.

idk, Trudeau actually seems to be quite aggressive

he did after all declare martial law and crush any opposition against himself during the Freedom Convoy

that is what Napoleon Bonaparte would have done, and did in fact do, at Paris on 5 October 1795

when it  comes to killing people as necessary in a war, I think Trudeau could get that done

bear in mind, when it comes to being the peacenik party on the brink of thermonuclear war

that was actually the Conservatives

during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Conservative PM John George Diefenbaker lost his nerve

Diefenbaker wanted a negotiated settlement and actually directed the Canadian Forces to stand down

the Canadian Forces then effectively mutinied against him, deploying for war on the orders of Washington

the Second World War was fought by the Liberals

MacKenzie-King had no compunctions whatsoever about firebombing the Germans into the stone age

the Korean War was fought by the Liberals, Louis St-Laurent was PM

NATO bombing of Kosovo in 1999, CF-18's leading the way, that was Chretien

the Afghanistan War, that was Chretien & Paul Martin, it was Stephen Harper who pulled out

the Liberals have an established track record of going to war for the Empire

even the Boer War was the Liberals, that was Laurier

the only major war fought by the Conservatives was the First World War

and that was a total catastrophe, when Robert Borden let Sam Hughes run amok

to the point where the British had to fire the Canadian government and put Juilan Byng in charge

so historically, the Liberals are in fact Canada's most successful warfighting party

If you are going to intentionally send balloons around the world, put a transponder on it so at least it can be identified by air traffic control. It won't still be funny if a loaded airliner runs into it at M.84.

Not sure but presumably there are rules for releasing them.

It's possible this was the one Trudeau ordered to be shot down. It's the same day their balloon went missing, Feb. 11 over the Yukon.

The article should be titled "Trudeau shot down our balloon."

The Americans shot it down. If it was transponder equipped, it could have been identified.

Harper's gov't had our CF-18s dropping ordnance on islamic state troops until the Turd got into the PMO. Trudeau didn't like the optics of Canada being at war with those guys.
