Good response.. but these folks are sick enough to believe freezing everyone out is virtuous

The excuse of fighting climate change is being used to justify an all out assault on the poor and middle class.

Carbon taxes and all “climate action” charges on energy and fuel are evil.

Carbon taxes are existence taxes that impact the costs of all goods, not just home heating and transportation, but food and other necessities.

The WEF’s rich ideologues are willing to sacrifice the health and prosperity of billions to achieve their deluded dream of climate purity.

They did say that raising the price on natural gas in Europe where home heating prices are extremely high and unaffordable to many, especially the elderly, reduced natural gas consumption by 20%.  Duh.

Duh?   This, is not what...

They were literally talking about hiking your energy bill so high you can't afford to heat your home lol

Basically they’re saying people should risk their health and be reduced to poverty in the name of saving the planet. Cruel and sick.

Basically what you guys are doing is establishing that right wingers with a WEF conspiracy fetish are irredeemable weirdos.

As time passes I see more and more how dangerously uncritical much of the population is towards oppressive government policies.  It starts to make sense of the idea of mass hypnosis or the power of persuasion through propaganda from the state and state-funded media.  It’s how dictators get and maintain power.  The climate change fear machine is already a tool of oppression and we should be very worried about future “solutions” from these “young global leaders”.

This is not about climate change. It's about global control. Centralized world government.

Man, are some of you capable of looking out your windows while being so paranoid?? LOL

Bullshit they said that. No one says that.

This elite, speaking at the WEF, said it. Just scroll to 3:10 and listen for yourself.

The point of carbon taxes you mean? You people have been freaking out about this for decades.

What don't you still get after listening to people saying the same thing for decades now? What's the matter with you?

What WEF is talking about with regards to carbon taxes should have been firmly in place globally 25 years ago.  Today WEF should be talking about using green energy taxes to help pay for the removal of old rusting out refineries and other fossil fuel infrastructure around the planet and the restoration of impacted sites back towards nature.

Really? So watching a bunch of rich and powerful make decisions about your future, especially when their deciding to drastically alter your future, and the future of your kids, doesn't bother you in the slightest?

I find it incredulous that this pack of power mongers brag about the edicts they've seen enacted by states, and completely ignore the cost and suffering they're imposing.

A person would have to be b-b-b-blind...not to see what's going on here.

As opposed to people who see conspiracy everywhere and ignore facts, and basic human empathy to boot...

OK hang on there.

What "facts"? That this climate freak-out is causing hardship and suffering everywhere? That you don't care about that? Exactly what "facts" might we be-a-talkin' about here?

Basic human empathy? Again...who's got empathy for all those who can't afford their heating bill...have constant electrical brownouts...etc?

This chickenshit is completely unnecessary and down right insidious. Given the time, Man would find a reliable and "cleaner" way to power our world. To trash what we have now, BEFORE we have that reliable energy source, is just plain old dumb! It also clearly expresses a complete lack of faith in Mankind.

Again I ask - for those worried about influence of the rich and powerful, why do they not voice concerns about lobbying ?

Why is it only when the rich and powerful express concern about climate change do certain people sit up and notice ?

Influence on labour, environmental and tax law doesn't seem to register an eyebrow raise.

I'll continue to ask: if seven of the top 10 political donors of the uS come from Republicans, and they out donate Democrats by hundred million dollars... Does your focus of concern change?

Are you really just worried about democrats?  All the stuff about wealth and power it's just trimming to make people afraid of the party with fewer donors and less money?
