Hundreds of teachers in Chicago’s public school system raped, sexually assaulted, and groomed students last year.

According to a report released by Chicago Public Schools’ Office of the Inspector General, the 2021-2022 school year saw 772 investigations into teachers for allegedly raping, sexually assaulting, or grooming students.The office was able to close 600 “adult on student” cases in the past year, and substantiated more than half of the allegations. Despite that, only 16 of the cases have resulted in charges.

Gee! Here in Florida we actually engage in EDUCATING students. We actually got a bunch of shit for an anti-grooming law our brilliant legislature and Governor passed.

Excuse me for thinking outside the box, but I believe public school is for the purpose of EDUCATING children, not providing sex for a bunch of blue state perverted teachers.

Here’s a simple rebuttal: A school cannot rape a person, because a school is not a person. Moreover, this article provides no comparison to any other school district in the nation, so we don’t know if these 600 allegations are more or less than those of comparatively sized districts.  Lastly, I don’t see how this correlates to someone‘a political philosophy. A rapist is a rapist. Calling yourself a Republican doesn’t create a magic Jesus shield around you which prevents you from raping someone. I posted the names of dozens of Republican officials who were convicted of various sex crimes and you can Google any of them to verify and you know that.  Political affiliation has nothing to do with whether someone will commit a sex crime.
