Some people are not capable of listening to anything. Don't assume Biblical truth can be presented to everyone in the same way. A mentally ill person is in a different space. However, that type of person is not as common as you seem to think. So you do understand that filling a mentally ill person's head with the certainty they could be tortured by demons and burn in agony forever is not a good idea.
