Trudeau's constant ranting about all the money he spends on goodies is revolting.

Recommended Posts

Trudeau at this moment is on the CBC/CTV liberal news constantly virtue-signaling about all the goodies he has handed out.  This is not the mark of a leader.  Sadly many will fall for the constant handout of various goodies as social programs and aid.  This is the only thing liberals know how to do.  They know little or nothing about building a strong country and helping the economy to grow which is the natural way to solve the housing crisis.   All they know how to do is hand out money in the form of grants and social assistance programs.

His only criticism of Pierre Polievre seems to be Crypto currency which he constantly harps on as if this is the central policy of the Conservative Party.  This is a typical Trudeau smear and falsehood.  This is not the policy of the Conservative Party and never will be.  We often heard Trudeau make off colour or nonsensical statements like his love for the Chinese dictatorship or how he is working for equity among Canadians, a pipe dream that will never happen.  He lives in an alt reality and has no credibility.  The idea that government can solve everyone's financial problems and create a utopian society of equality is a Marxist idea and a lie to just get votes.   Such schemes can only lead to loss of freedom and the state micro-managing everyone's life.  There is no such thing as a free lunch for everyone.

It's REVOLTING!  I like using EMOTIONAL LANGUAGE wherever I can to provide EMPHASIS.

I don't like Trudeau either, but Pierre deserves to be criticized for his crypto natter, and he looks pretty stupid promoting it while trashing the central bank shortly before all the bitcoin he owned torpedoed -75% in value.  Easy political points are scored against pointing at Pierre's mouthing off about this.

PP has been criticized about his cryptocurrency comment, but it was a trivial comment and a trivial issue.  I doubt it will have much political value for long.  The real issues that most Canadians are concerned about are the multi-billion dollar failing health care system, the housing shortage, and the high inflation.  Yes Trudeau is still flying around the world creating greenhouse gases and throwing millions of dollars around every day.   How many billion dollars is the Liberal government in debt now and Canadians must pay the interest on government debt?

If you could specify exactly what is wrong with spending money, in a manner that reflects that the government is spending it not the PM by personal decree, perhaps point out exactly what spending you object to, and do it in a manner that isn't uber-Conservative generalization and cliche,
then
maybe...
you'd have some credibility.

At least he's just losing his won money, and not selling out our country like the PM.

AFAIK that's the only actual knock on Poilievre that has any traction, so it will probably be "a major election issue" according to our MSM, even if that's as much as 3 years from now.

It wasn't trivial.  It was a direct public attack on an institution fundamental for a properly functioning economy (central banking).  He made the comments because he knew it was popular to criticize the central bank, and all there were votes to find among the crypto bros and the conspiracy theorists.  The fact that he owns bitcoin is just a side note.

Nothing more than a deflection to steer the comments in a different direction. this is the typical leftist answer, dare to speak negatively about Justin and all they can come back with is well PP said or did this, Meanwhile Justin is the PM and none of his political deeds have done much for this country, well except dope it seems to have found a place in all Canadian hearts.

It's not PP that is going to get himself elected is that Justin is outstaying his welcome that's what is going to get Conservatives elected.

Nobody on the left has any credibility period, none, you know exactly what he is alluding to, no one doubles our national debt and not knows that a lot of it was useless spending meant to buy your votes on stupid shi*. meanwhile most if not all of our critical needs are in the toilet. Just be honest for once in your life, do you think the Liberals are spending to much and if so on what.

There is spending money and then there is wasting money, and he is wasting money.

I've spoken negatively about Trudeau plenty, and I think he's a clown.  That doesn't mean Pierre can't say stupid things and shouldn't be criticized for it.  ?

Right, the King is giving out his own goodies out of his own pocket out of his goodness and generosity. Such a nice picture. Sure, getting there.

Nothing comes for free and for granted. For anything, we pay now or later. And for backwardness, boredom and untreatable mental laziness the outcome is written on the wall.

Canada has 300,450 federal civil servants.  The average cost of each employee is $114,000 per year.  Do the math.  The number of government programs being administered by government is endless.

In the last few years of the Harper Conservative government the number of federal civil servants gradually declined but as soon as Trudeau and the Liberals took over in 2015, the number of civil servants began to increase every year.

No no, not the choices! Its the mirror, in it: backwardness, extreme weakness of will, boredom and untreatable mental laziness always produce the same result. No: there will be no surprises.

Neither one represents my views. As usual it will come down to who I think is the least worst and it's too early for that.

Someone has to work to enact all the promises he made to appease all the people that voted him in.
