Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Tuesday "that there is no room in the Republican Party for antisemitism or white supremacy."

"And anyone meeting with people advocating that point of view, in my judgment, are highly unlikely to ever be elected president of the United States," he said during a news conference.

Mitch is a known flip-flopper. One day he's claiming he's had enough of Donald's garbage. The next he's kissing his ring. It probably all boils down to how badly inflamed Mitch's hemorrhoid are that day.

Wow... I wonder who he was referring to ?

Also - there's no room in the Party for those ideas but hell yeah there's room for people who support them and what's a big tent without a racist uncle or two or a Klansman aunt ?

I agree, he did leave 1-2 cm of opening, just in case. McConnell is adaptable.

Anyone remember the moment when he was standing with Paul Ryan in front of the White House after they passed a healthcare bill, in the House only, and McConnell went at the microphone and said: "Mr. President, you did it".

Yes, I know is all politics, still something to remember. Paul Ryan to his credit a few hours after the midterms went on the media and directly pointed the finger at Trump.

then if I am not mistaken the same bill, John McCain shut it off with one thumb down in the Senate.

But of course he didn’t call out Trump by name.

McConnell had the chance to impeach Trump and he should have. He had just been re-elected to a six year term.
