After 44 years of tyranny, executions, torture, rape, murder, discrimination,  oppression, intimidation, the dreadful bloodthirsty Islamic republic which came to power in a 1979 coup and took a nation hostage is coming to an end.

The latest uprising which though triggered by the beating to death of an innocent 22 year old woman, Mahsa Amini over improper hijab two months ago has been as a result of 44 years of tyranny by a bunch of murderers and terrorists known as Shia clergy and their well paid mercenary thugs, Sepah and Basij who were used as oppressive forces to crackdown hard on any opposition and arrest, jail, torture, rape and murder the innocent people whose only crime was deviation from strict and Satanic way of Islamic Republic.

Today in many areas of Tehran and many other cities in Iran, the nation of Iran joined together in streets risking their lives and faced the brutal security forces of murderous regime of Islamic Republic to finish what they started 2 months ago and the bazar in Tehran and many other Iranian cities joined the protests by closing their shops and workers from various industries joined them too in a national uprising now becoming a popular revolution against the bloodthirsty regime of Islamic Republic and the hated clergy dominated the regime.

Islamic regime kills more, children among them as fire of revolution against murderous regime rages all over Iran and the world is just watching the atrocities by Islamic Republic against defenseless nation.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/11/17/children-among-dead-as-iran-sees-large-protests-strikes

In Tehran last night as people were shouting anti-regime slogans from their own homes from top floors and roof, security forces forced their way into private homes and throw the people down from the top floors and roofs. There is no limit of brutality to this murderous regime,

I would be happy to see this turn into a (successful) revolution, but it still seems like just a lot of protesting.  I hope this doesn't just peter out like the ones before.

Unarmed citizens against a militia. This is not going anywhere. It's better that they just let it be, find other more covert ways to break the power of the ayatollahs, rather than getting machine-gunned out in the open.

In 1979 it was also unarmed civilians. The most important new development past few days was the joining of bazars and shopkeepers in many cities with protesters. What we need now is for workers especially in oil industry to join strikes. The security forces are paid mercenaries as the regime don't trust the army. They kill for money not to preserve the regime but to preserve their salary. Once they see it is not worth the risk (of being killed or punished after revolution) then they run away or join the revolution.

In a new development the home of late islamic coup leader Khomeini was attacked by young revolutionaries overnight in Khomeine where he was born and set on fire.  It shows the deep hatred of the new generation forming over two-third of population against islamic revolutionary foundations and values.

Like Russia’s communists, the current regime had a ringside seat and decades to study how the previous one fell and to prevent a recurrence. Many nasty people have a lot to lose with reform and won’t give up their privileges easily.

Hopefully soon, those nasty people will have to give up their necks instead,

Iran nation does not want a reform. They settle for nothing short of complete and total regime change.

I have another question for you, maybe you can help me understand this.

Yesterday at the World Cup game -> European Media was making rating about the beauty of Iranian women, pictures were posted. Yes, beautiful women indeed, but what I don't comprehend, not all of them were protesting. It was a fashion show mostly. For sure -> they are living here in the West to have such freedom.

So, how does one finds freedom in the West and just goes to a World Cup to support their home country which now is suppressing society -> and society's fault? For protesting Masha Amini -> or these are the wives of the IRGC guards which don't go by the "rules"

I am surprise of your question because in here among all others, you appeared to be the one with most of knowledge about Iran.

They went there to demonstrate against the regime not to support the soccer team. These are Iranians abroad. After the fall of this hated regime you will see many Iranian women inside Iran dressing the same way. This is the Persian culture the majority of Iranians believe and if free would practice not the imposed Islamic culture or the forced hijab.

I need to point out there are some Iranians who in spite of fierce opposition to regime but still support their soccer team and see them as national team. Soccer of football is very deep rooted among Iranians and for many it was not an easy choice to go against them.

But many see them as the regime team and massively celebrated their loss in Iran in spite of regime killing a celebrating young man in the port of Pahlavi overnight for celebrating.

You know this, there are elite rich families that are part of the regime but also don't play by the rules of the regime when it comes to social conservatism. Rules for thee and not for me type of thing.

I am at the same idea, hope the movement succeeds. Can you imagine being a soccer player in Iran now going back to Tehran?!, wonder if they are afraid some IRGC members are waiting at the airport for losing the crucial game.

I added to my post which clarifies your question.

Yes they should have refused to play in the team and likely would have gone to jail like Voria Ghafoori did. It is not only soccer players but the entire nation in a risky situation. There are reports that security agents plain cloth are targeting beautiful women who simply walk on streets with hijab and falsely accuse them of protesting and then sexually assault them.

The Qatar security forces (their government threatened by Islamic republic regime) confiscated the real national flag (Lion and Sun flag in the middle) from many spectators or did not allow them to enter the stadium. They also confiscated the revolutionary slogans of Woman, Life and Freedom from many protesters outside. One woman who was somehow able to enter the stadium with the Lion and Sun flag and displayed it was arrested by Qatar security forces and put in jail for several hours.

This is how this brutal regime operates inside and outside Iran. By intimidation, fear, murder and rape on individuals, reporters and even governments.

Country-wide strikes and protests has been called n Iran December 5 to December 7 (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

Lets hope for a huge response by increasingly fearless Iran nation against the most brutal regime of Islamic Republic who will stand short of nothing to crackdown hard on slightest show of opposition or protest including ordering hundreds of thousands of murderous plain cloth thugs called Basij or the murderous revolutionary guards to shoot directly into crowd of protesters, arrest students and protesters at will and beat them up to death or torture and rape them in jails.

The most fearless nation of Iran led by young women totally unarmed and peaceful armed with courage and determination against the most brutal regime armed to teeth and willing to kill millions in order to survive.

Intimidations and threats by killers of children and women to force scale down the massive protest strikes.

Death to islamic republic.

Strikes by bazars in many cities appeared successful in the first day in spite of massive intimidation by regime and execution announcements.
