Trump announces he's running for President again

Trump's only and last political score was winning the presidency in 2016. He's done a great job destroying the GOP with loss after loss ever since, with the last midterms being the most glaring example of that. Even GOP'ers are starting to realize and saying it out loud now.

Has anyone seen the speeches last night? or summaries?

Is clear to me that MAGA world has a hold over the Republicans, and if this keeps up, you will see all of them starting with McConnell, Paul Ryan slowly lower their rhetoric and then at the end, they might say:

"For the good of the party, we will support Donald Trump" 😄

I am starting to think DeSantis won't even run.

What a debate that will be, Biden vs Trump, round 2. I think this might be good news for The Democratic Party overall.

  • Is shocking to me what age both contenders have. 77 vs 81

---> What a message this sends to the younger generations when 2 old men are running again?!

A video is trending.

  • Did you know Nikki Hailey was heckled by the good MAGA people?

https://nypost.com/2023/03/03/nikki-haley-heckled-by-trump-supporters-at-cpac/

Why are you MAGAs not allowing a woman to speak and have her interview? She might be your VP.

Look here, the supporters in action:

The young are not going to be interested in accommodating old people when they hold power.

Hopefully conscience is the only factor then, and Trump loses yet again.

Trump in 2028!

Also the New York AG says no more delays in the real estate fraud case.

None of these cases is moving along with any speed: the old sex assault claims, the campaign finance case, the real estate fraud case, the classified documents case, or Georgia vote tampering.

I think DeSantis is waiting for some investigations, then he will announce.

I read some reports that Trump is not liking this delay in DeSantis not announcing his Presidential run.

He wants him to announce so he can attack him MAGA style.

DeSantis probably has some smart advisers. Told him to wait, maybe something sticks to Trump, then he joins the fight. Much better, I think, anyways.

I have never seen a lack of good choices to this level, in US presidential politics.

Brace yourself, the circus is about to get loud:

The Washington Post is announcing the imminent return of Trump on Facebook and other publications are saying is just a matter of time until he takes command of Twitter.

I assumed he would have done it around the holidays, I was wrong on that prediction.

He is back on Facebook.

Former NATO Chief: Trump Could Sabotage the War (and NATO)

Quote

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former secretary-general of NATO, a right-of-center politician who is now a white-shoe international consultant, remains scared of Trump. What disturbs him more immediately than the idea of Trump back in the White House is a far likelier scenario: Trump winning the Republican presidential nomination.

Just by winning the Republican nomination Trump could shatter the bipartisan front in favor of Ukraine, Rasmussen fears. Trump has been forthright about his views of Russia’s invasion, praising Putin as a clever strategist in the early days of the war and recently suggesting that Ukraine should have ceded “Russian-speaking areas” in a deal with the invader.

“I call it a geopolitical catastrophe if Trump were to be nominated, because in the campaign his influence would be destructive,” Rasmussen says. It would move Trump’s terrible ideas closer to the mainstream and make it harder to secure congressional support for the war.

“I really hope that Republicans will get their act together,” he says. “I do hope, I would say not only from a European perspective but from a global perspective, that Republicans will nominate a candidate that is much more attached to American global leadership than Trump and Trumpists.”

Trump boasts about doing a lot of things he hasn't done. Sexual battery isn't one of those things.

Good for Carroll. Takes a lot of courage to relive traumatic events publicly, especially when there is a risk that you won't be believed and will definitely be targeted by Trump's thuggish base.

A repeat of Biden vs. Trump sparks even less interest in me than ever before. I have a feeling that I am not alone. Its kind of sad that we have to settle for a re-run of the Lawrence Welk show (figuratively speaking) vs. an episode of Law and Order or Succession.

If Joe Biden manages to win this one somehow, he will be 86 years old when he finishes The Presidency. I wonder what kind of message sends to the younger generations.

It says a few things..

1. one can only win the Presidential election if they are older and have built up serious political capital.

2. Folks value probability of winning over the actual message of the leader/party.

I don't like to post CNN or Fox News sources here, call me enlightened, 😄, those 2 institutions, I don't respect, however, if they have an exclusive is good to be mentioned and followed to see if things indeed changed there, after agitator Don Lemon was fired. Do they do quality work now?! or just use words for political manipulation?!

I won't post the link but they are saying that "Trump Was Taped Discussing Sensitive Document He Had After Leaving Office"

One will see where this story goes. I am taking it with a grain of salt.

Update: also on CBS, CBS data I can work with:

Yes indeed. And others here agreed. Some have learned new things and changed their position from disbelief, to belief.

You don't have to do that. Believe in fantasy and lies, if it helps get through your day.

Truth be told i was shocked to find this out, although it was before your evidence that i learned of it. I actually posted some myself a little while back. They don't hide it, they're pretty proud of it.
