What has come out in the testimony of mayors and others from other cities than Ottawa is that they learned how not to do things.

Seems Ottawa was the perfect example of screwing up. That was what we, living in Ottawa, knew from day 3 of the debacle and the testimony proved it.

Sorry, what exactly confirms the act of learning here? Or was just an unfortunate misspelling of "haven't learned anything"?

The act of learning is observations of what went right or wrong in any give situation.

It is a lesson you should "learn" LOL

Reading comprehension is also something you should learn :).

Oh really? So when you step on the same rake for the umpteenth time while wisely observing that just done it yesterday it means that you learned? Can pat yourself on the shoulder, high five and job well done (well worthy of a juice bonus appointed by self out of public pocket and why not?) Makes full sense though: it's not the words themselves but what realities they symbolize and reflect. Words can be same but realities behind them, quite - very opposite! For example, some understand "learning" as doing better, not repeating same stupid and clueless mistakes. Oh well...

Please myata, say nothing and let people imagine you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer but say what you did and remove all doubt.

A worthy and wise contribution to the topic, kudos! I'm sure (one) you couldn't do any better.

Myata, you have yet to provide a worthy and wise contribution to any topic. You would be wise, if not worthy just to stop posting for a while and let your foolish and stupid comments be forgotten.

Stay on topic.

According to testimony, Windsor learned what not to do from Ottawa to clear protesters.

Five reasons Windsor had success ending 'Freedom Convoy' blockade, but Ottawa didn't

Myata does just fine, imo. Makes many interesting posts, and rarely ever addresses other members directly.

Fair enough, but it's also understood that Ottawa is the site of federal parliament and there are protests every day. Windsor, not so much.

IOW there's expectation of a certain level of tolerance towards protest, if held peacefully. This is a part of democracy.

Or do you prefer to have The Hill as Canada's own Tiananmen Square?

;)

Like I said from the very beginning, the Ottawa Police screwed this up from the get go. The testimony has proven that. Other cities learned what not to do because Ottawa showed them how to screw things up.

Yes, Ottawa has protests every day but none have ever occupied the city or behaved so badly..

Tiananmen Square? Are you still living in  the past??The debacle is over and done with 9 months ago. Get current, stay withe times LOL
