Why would anyone vote for a right wing politician in any state or nationally.

Recommended Posts

Remember that when you go to the voting booth in November. That right wing States have the Highest crime rate, highest homicide rate, over all highest death by gun, dependency on the blue states with the highest dependency on fed, Highest ignorance, highest rape rate, The most unsafe cities over 200,000, Highest welfare , highest food stamps support, worst states to bring up children, the worst income in this country, most hate groups, highest inflation March 2021 to March 2022, States with the most unsafe cities', the least safe states and worst education. Give me one reason that would suggest you're not brain-dead stupid by voting for a republican.
One more point if the economy is at all a concern to you, you would be an idiot to vote for a republican president, They are a disaster for the economy compared to democrats that are elected presidents. That's by every aspect of our economy. Don't argue unless you have a real source that says that something I said above is not correct.
This should be the only information that comes out of the mouth of any progressive politician or candidate. IN fact, why isn't it.

Not all right wing states fit ^this description, but on average it is probably true.

For instance, I don't believe Nebraska is the hell hole that Mississippi or Alabama is, and it's pretty much right wing.

In 2021, Republicans have full control of more state governments (23) compared to Democrats (15) and that includes more total population too.   People vote for "right wing" candidates because they want to, the same reason that people vote for leftist "progressives".

They are called elections for a reason..."this is what democracy looks like".

You haven't' had a president that has won a election by votes in forever. Now go back to post number one and considering those facts in that thread  that can easily be verified and tell us why in the hell anyone would vote for a hate party for president or politician, what they offer is a disaster for everything that has any value in this country, IT is a 100% loser party that does nothing positive for the people that live under it.

Clearly is is not a "loser party", holding more state legislature and governor offices than Democrats.   The Democrats lost about 1,000 seats total to Republicans during the Obama presidency.

Because Citizens United made unlimited dark money legal. Republicans BOUGHT those seats thanks to a right wing SCOTUS.

So what ?   That is the political process in the United States.   Clearly it has worked for the GOP.   The U.S. Constitution can be an "inconvenient truth" that way.

It is ONLY "the political process in the United States" because of shenanigans pulled by Republicans, NOT "the US Constitution." There is NOTHING in the US Constitution about corporations having the rights of citizens. They are ONLY a legal construct which did NOT exists at the time the Constitution was created.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled differently, overturning a lower court and affirming First Amendment rights for corporations, non-profits, and labour unions (among other groups).

That is the U.S. political and judicial process, regardless of personal opinions about the outcome(s).

But… think about it.
The conservatives over and over say, “Literally interpret the Constitution,” and “Do not judge on what the Constitution does not say.”

For sure, the Constitution does not say that corporations have the rights of people. After all, a person can be put in jail, and a person can get the death penalty. Corporations cannot.  And the Congress passed campaign finance laws. So then the SCOTUS shows up and says that the Constitution lets corporations anonymously spend all the money they want on political campaigns. Yeah… cause the Constitution says that? Uh, no, it does not.

So since the constitution doesn't specify the number of supreme court justice, democrats should bring the number up to the point that the left has the majority . Like you say "Elections have consequences" What a hoot.

Right now the Democrats should do anything legal to destroy the hate group they call a party. It will work just fine hate group gone , conservatives start a party that isn't built on hatred . Case closed. Now they are just hate driven traitors to this country.

You seem literally upset.  And you start a thread in which you don’t even to bother to define what you mean by “rightwing”.

Why are you upset when liberals/progressives are in power in both Canada and the US and most of Europe.  They are rolling out their agenda on schedule.

Outlaw PAC money, the hate party is gone, take away the majority on the supreme court and the hate party is gone. Overthrow all laws made to take away votes of Democrats or anyone, that is a lawful elector. And the hate party is gone. They are a plague to mankind, as this thread proves. You want to have your wives and daughters raped. Killed, robbed, your children becoming criminals, live off the government, live off of democrats, and stay stupid. No problem, just move to a hate party state.

Progressives DO NOT control the SCOTUS and they are doing great (and unpopular) damage to this nation.

Right wingers achieved control of the SCOTUS through anti-democratic means using the Electoral College to install Justices NOT favored by the majority. ?

We have, and have long had, MINORITY control of government. AKA, anti-democratic.

More Truth:

Democratic Party was the party of slavery....Republicans were abolitionists.

Regardless, Americans have the right to vote for any party of their choice...or not vote at all.   Democrats are likely to lose some seats in Congress in November, and could lose control of the House and Senate.    Happened to Trump, really happened to Obama, and many others before them.   Gonna happen to Biden too.

That was then...

And in more recent times the old Jim Crow Democrats who never got over the past followed George Wallace into the political wilderness leaving the Democrats in the sidelines and your country to the Republicans.

Nowadays, after having flirted with Ross Perot then morphing into the Teapartiers they became Magachuds and took over the GOP.

Whatever the Republicans were before.... things change.

Not so much...the Democrat political base advocates modern day addiction to the government & social welfare state.   Slavery by another name.

Either way, people should vote the way they wish.   Constitutional rights should be protected by all, regardless of the message.

Now, the right is the party of bigots and slavery. What happened ace. Let's add in Homophobia, chauvinism. Xenophobic, hate driven, dumb as a brick party of traitors to this country.
