Is Giorgia Meloni Far-Right?

So, did you hear this one?

Italy's right wing, led by Meloni, wins election, exit polls say

"Far-right leader Giorgia Meloni's electoral alliance appears to hold a wide lead in Italy's national vote. If Meloni becomes premier, she will be the first woman in Italy to hold that office. Her party, with neo-fascist roots, would need to form a coalition with her main allies to command a majority in Parliament."

I'm not that up on Giorgia Meloni. Not sure what makes her far-right.

Here's her victory speech where she gives her platform:

Why is that "far-right." Not too long ago it was mainstream.

What exactly is this "far-right" thing of which the stenographers of the 'Powers That Be' taking down copy in their media so often refer to anyway?

The world is topsy-turvy.

5 years ago, if a government had campaigned on removing your right to make your own medical decisions, they would have been called the "extremists."

Today, you're an extremist, terrorist, misogynist, racist if you want to decline participating in a medical experiment.

2 years ago, if you had told people that Trudeau would freeze private citizen's bank accounts and Freeland would make that a permanent power of the government, nobody would have voted for him.

Fear makes people accept things they wouldn't otherwise.

There's a good one HERE on how the media is treating Giorgia Meloni.

Most of them seem to be comparing her to Mussolini.

The Daily Mail is an exception, so let's look at that one. The others are what you'll be getting from the 5 o'clock liars so you don't need me to find the "far right" claims.

"

"She questions the power of the European Union, the wisdom of mass immigration and ‘LGBT lobbies’, and has built a powerful personal brand with her carefully crafted image as a down-to-earth, 45-year-old single mother who understands ordinary Italians.

"At political rallies, she gives her impassioned hour-long speeches dressed in black trousers that look as if they are from a supermarket rack. Not for her the power-dressing, Prada heels and expensive salon hair-dos favored by the Roman political elite.

"In a guttural voice, she tells Italians of her ‘humble’ childhood, of how she was raised by a single mother in a gritty district of Rome after her father abandoned them, leaving her to claw her own way up the slippery pole of Italian politics. And this, she says, has shaped her core beliefs.

"‘I want a country where you get ahead, not because of your friends in high places, or the family you were born into, but what you make of yourself’, she says during our interview.

"‘The voters like me because they trust me. They know there are no tricks, no lies. I have the courage to say what I believe in. I will do exactly what I promise them. It has been a long walk for me to get this far. But I have never changed my ideals. Other politicians say one thing one day, and two days later say something different with the same face.’"

Mussolini had corporate media in his hands. She doesn't.

The Daily Mail story also said, "Meloni insists she is not of the far-Right but building up a party similar to the UK’s Tories and the U.S. Republicans. Among her major policies are big cuts on income tax, VAT and business taxes; plus a tough line on illegal immigration, targeting in particular traffickers’ boats coming from Libya to Italy and the granting of automatic citizenship to babies born to foreign parents."

And it isn't just Sweden, Italy, and apparently America moving right.

Here's the most recent poll I could find of what's happening in Canada.

Quote

Since Pierre Poilievre has become more of a common political name for Canadians to recognize, the Conservative Party’s polling numbers have risen, and quickly outpaced Justin Trudeau’s Liberals.

The Mainstreet poll has the Conservatives with a commanding lead over the Liberals, with 41 percent of the vote, compared to the Liberals 33 percent, which would put Poilievre in charge of a large majority government if those numbers bore-out in an election.

I've seen older ones like this:

https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/justin-trudeau-slightly-favoured-over-pierre-poilievre-for-prime-minister-new-poll-1.6075396

But even those were close and Poilievre appeared to be gaining.

Pardon me CBC et al did I only say "Right?" Far right. Right?

(Whatever that is...)

It's a professor at the UofT...a trucker without a Vax...a doctor who prescribed treatments for The Rona...a politician from Alberta...it's you...me...and anyone else who prefers to trust his or her senses, rather than hypocritical fear-porn.

Is 1-1 in Europe now. Macron won one for the West.

Giorgia for populism. You saw who reacted to her win right after?

Vladimir himself. The real chameleon congratulated her. The master of chameleons congratulated her ?

Again...so what?

BTW...Macron bearly won for HIMSELF and perhaps for those nasty asses in the EU.

Giorgia won for herself and Italy.

And it's a matter of opinion. I see Macron more as progressive socialist (as in progressing toward socialism,) globalist puppet, Trudeau clone than a champion of the west, myself.

But yeah if Giorgia can find a way to negotiate with Putin rather than join in pushing him towards this war the globalists seem to want I'm fine with that.

And which of those two options is the real extremist, I wonder.

Why do you think she'd have a better chance of negotiating with him if she lined up with the league of enemies looking for a fight with him?

Possibly if she is the pal to Putin you as a Progressive would like to present her as but also a member state of the west she could negotiate as a mediator from a place of non-aggression to either side.

So she would be negotiating for Putin.

Mediating.

But this is more interesting...

Tucker explains how Giorgia was able to win. Basically she takes the part of the little boy in the story of The Emperor's New Clothes. She dares to discuss what should be obvious:

BTW she won a majority. Her populism is mainstream again. Like it was before the Progressive Socialists took control. Doesn't matter if their media calls her extreme.

I haven't read everything in this thread but this caught my eye.

====

Trudeau Jnr, Biden and Putin have domestic media under control. In Europe, it's the weirdest thing.

====

The only way that I can explain it is that any other news seems weird. In Russia, it's extreme.

In Russia, people like Tucker Carlson used to exist but they were weird - now they're really weird.

In Canada, such people sort of exist but no one listens to them.

====

It is really hard to explain how this happens. Others are marginalised somehow.

I admire how people like Butts and Putin take power

Italy? Dunno.

I'm fearful of nationalism.

======

But politicians such as Putin and Butts have somehow created the idea of "normal". If you don't vote for Trudeau, Xi, Biden - you're not normal.

===

In Canada, the only bizarre people who vote non-Liberal (NDP is OK) are rural Westerners, maybe rural Quebecers.

In Russia, the only weird people who vote against Putin's United Russia Party are foolish urban kids.

In America, who votes Republican? Only backward MAGA idiots.

What are you afraid of? Losing power?

In Canada you grossly underestimate the amount of people simply wanting common sense and government FOR Canada.

I assume you know squat about Russia. They are VERY nationalistic.

As for your take on America...pfft...nice sound-byte.

Indeed...afraid of losing power. Power loss and an unfinished Marxist agenda. This is not how the scenario was supposed to go.

There were nearly half a million backwards MAGA idiots watching Trump's latest packed get-together. Joe can't fill a high-school gymnasium.

Two million plus and growing #trudeaumustgo posts...

Now this Italian broad...how dare she upset their globalist fascist plans.

10 years old poll puts Italian acceptance of LGBTQ 14 points ahead of the USA.

But... sure... it's a big problem... gotta ban that Peppa Pig episode because there are two mama bears in it...

Again, I repeat: give your heads a shake.  You are being duped by people who don't even believe what they are telling you.
