Question for Trudeau Haters....

Trudeau said years ago to a minister something to the effect that Evangelical Christians were not the best Canadians.  Isn't that inciting hatred?  Christians are persecuted around the world especially in places like Afghanistan where they do not dare show they are Christians openly.  Canada and the west was built on Judeo-Christian culture.  So what is it with this PM?  He visited mosques and put on their cloth but attacked evangelical Christians in Canada.

Trudeau actually recited the Shahada in the one radical mosque he frequents. One of the Five Pillars. Technically, he became a Muslim at that point no matter how he feels about his own sincerity.

A single honest recitation of the Shahada is all that is required for a person to become a Muslim according to most traditional schools.

Canada’s Justin Trudeau: Religious Christians “Worst Part Of Society”

Judeo-Christianity built western civilization over the last 2,000 years and has developed human rights and democracy which is non-existent in much of the rest of the world, particularly Islamic countries, where Christians are persecuted.  So I don't know where Trudeau is coming from.

Well if it's just by an edge perhaps PP can make the same deal Jagmeet Singh did, you know to try and keep Canada from being too communist and a little more fascist instead.

I guess it'll all depend on what CTV wants.

What BS is that?? Where and when and who did he say that to??

And Jews are persecuted in Iran/Iraq and other Muslim countries.

And Muslims are persecuted in Israel an din the US and elsewhere.

All religions are persecuted in Russia.

Religion, in one form or another, is persecuted in one country or another.

Not a well though out comment by blackbird.

According to this Pastor Trudeau apparently did say that.

I'm not the least bit surprised Trudeau would say something like that.

Are you serious?  Maybe you are one of the persecutors trying to justify yourself?

Here is just one website about Trudeau's comment:

Canada’s Justin Trudeau: Religious Christians “Worst Part Of Society” – Online Ministries (online-ministries.org)

As for persecution of Christians in the world, it is widespread.

245 Million: In the top 50 World Watch List countries alone, 245 million Christians in the world experience high levels of persecution for their choice to follow Christ.

1 in 9: Christians worldwide experience high levels of persecution

14%: The rise in the number of Christians in the top 50 countries on the 2019 World Watch List (WWL) who experience high levels of persecution. (from the 2018 reporting period to 2019’s)

4,136: Christians killed for faith-related reasons in the top 50 WWL countries.

2,625: Christians detained without trial, arrested, sentenced and imprisoned in the top 50 WWL countries.

1,266: churches or Christian buildings attacked in the top 50 WWL countries.

7 out of 9: In seven of the countries in the World Watch List’s top 10, the primary cause of persecution is Islamic oppression.

11: countries scoring in the “extreme” level for their persecution of Christians. Five years ago, North Korea was the only one.

18: Consecutive years North Korea has ranked No. 1 as the world’s most dangerous place for Christians.

Watch the 2019 World Watch List video below:

Christian Persecution by the Numbers - Open Doors USA - Open Doors USA

Every Month

105: churches attacked, burned or vandalized each month, in the top 50 WWL countries

Every Day

11: Christians killed every day for their faith, in the top 50 WWL countries.

By the Continent

1 out of 6: Christians in Africa that experience high levels of persecution.

1 out of 3: Christians in Asia that experience high levels of persecution.

1 out of 21: Christians in South America who experience high levels of persecution.

Islam is legal in Canada and often Canada bends over backwards to accommodate them.  There are mosques in many cities.  Same in France, UK, and other countries in Europe.  For the first time more people in England attend mosques than Anglicans attend churches.   Just see what happens to Christians in Afghanistan, Pakistan and many other places.

Discrimination against Jews is a world-wide fact and has been going on for 1,700 years culminating in the holocaust.  The U.N. is anti-Jewish and passed many motions against Israel.  Muslims are not discriminated against in Israel.  They hold elected office and are the major workers in the construction and trucking industries.

But it is a mistake to think followers of all religions are being persecuted to the extent of persecution against Jews and Christians around the world.  I gave you the statistics but you simply ignore them.  Muslims are not persecuted in western countries to any degree, but Christians are widely persecuted around the world.

This is not a pissing contest.

Your selected religion is no more or no less discriminated against as any other religion. It all depends on what God you worship..

Religious persecution is just the way it is and has always been. Numbers of people in a particular religion does not make one worse than the other.

And, Islamophobia is rampant in the western world.

What facts do you have to back up your claim that Christianity is no more or no less discriminated against than any other religion?   Obviously just your biased opinion.

quote

Over the past year, I have written of the intolerance that Christians have shown to Muslims in the U.S. From Missouri to Murphreesboro, Christians have demonstrated both a lack of charity and a denial of the right to religious liberty by setting fire to old mosques and opposing new ones. But Christians in the U.S. are rank amateurs compared to the Muslim persecution of Christians in the Middle East.

In early November, German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared that Christianity is "the most persecuted religion in the world." Although met with predictable criticism, Rupert Short's recent research report for Civitas UK confirms Merkel's claim -- we may not want to hear it, but Christianity is in peril, like no other religion. While this is a contest no one wants to win, Short shows that "Christians are targeted more than any other body of believers." Short is the author of the recently published Christianophobia: A Faith Under Attack. He is concerned that "200 million Christians (10 percent of the global total) are socially disadvantaged, harassed or actively oppressed for their beliefs."

Christianity is facing elimination in its Biblical homeland. Between a half and two-thirds of Christians in the Middle East have departed or been killed over the past century. Short attributes the intolerance and violence towards Christians to the rising Islamicization of Middle Eastern countries. Some of the oppression is government sanctioned and some government permitted; most is government ignored.

Short looks at the plight of Christians in the Middle East, country by country. When it comes to religious oppression, the devil, one might say, is in the details.   unquote   Continued at:

Trudeau lost the popular vote two times in a row and now he's up against the most popular Conservative leader in a long time.

CTV's "polls" are actually just their own opinions.

The Leger poll is legit - they are the most accurate pollster historically. It's so disingenuous how the MSM spins it though. In Canada we vote for parties not leaders, and the Cons are up 6 points over the Libs. The poll was not looking good for the Libs.

Something worth examining is the Parliamentary Press Gallery.  It is made up of mainstream media.  These are the media broadcasters who have an inside access to Trudeau and the Liberals.  But others who seriously question Trudeau and his close ally, the NDP, are excluded and not allowed to attend press conferences which only the insiders like CBC, CTV, etc. are allowed to attend.  Does anyone seriously think they can be trusted to give unbiased reporting on Trudeau and the Liberals?   So the question is do certain media get paid off by the Liberals?  The answer is in this arrangement.  If you are part of the Parliamentary Press Gallery, you are given special privileges to attend Trudeau and Liberal media scrums that outsider journalists cannot have access to.  That certainly can be interpreted as a payment or special favour.

My question is. What is your long-game here? Are you satisfied being on the fringe?

I'll give Erin O'Toole credit, he tried to make the CPC more appealing to the masses, then he got kicked out. PP only proves to further that polarization.

PP has no hope of winning the 905. Those are the seats that tilt any Federal campaign into one column or the other.

I know it's so early in the game and anything can happen.  But - don't say,  Poilievre "has no hope winning the 905."   That sounds more like wishful thinking from you.   Like I said, it's quite early in the game, anything can happen.
