Canada Must Exit Climate Agreement Immediately

Recommended Posts

Before Canadians start going bankrupt by the thousands, it’s time for Canada to end all carbon taxes, stop spending money funding endless war in Ukraine, and pull out of international agreements that are hemorrhaging more money from taxpayers and adding to both our debt and inflation.  Turn off the shrill climate scare.  Build the pipelines.  We need more oil for energy security and the affordability of essentials like heating, transportation, and, manufacturing.

The problem of Canada is not stated goals, sometimes they are correct. It's the system of governance of public matters, on all levels to a varying extent that is: outdated or archaic; ineffective; inefficient; disconnected from the reality; averse to adaptation, improvement and change; unable to deliver practical results and come up with innovative solutions for new and existing problems.

The solution proposed here is instead of looking for ways of solving problems that are adequate and work in this century pretend that they, the problems do not exist. The well known ostrich solution, like it ever solved any problems.

Carbon taxes, ineffectual green subsidies, and punitive regulations on oil and gas development are lowering living standards and making Canadians poor.

None of our expensive climate policies will make a measurable difference to climate change.  China and Russia have pressed the ignore button.  Climate taxes are for Canadian suckers.  Americans won’t pay them.

Your carbon tax on gas is 11 cents

The tax rebate for a family of four is $745 in Ontario.  That pays for a lot of gas.

a stupid unnecessary tax

forget the rebate

just don't tax them in the first place

problem solved

So our act from now on will be determined by China, Russia and the like? Great progress for two centuries of blissful democratic sailing. We can't do anything anymore; even trying is half hearted at most, more a show than for real. So let's do nothing at all instead, problem solved! The only alternative to entitled lazy denial is a vigorous total denial. Yes but isn't it only logical, in the bigger picture?

Carbon taxes are largely revenue neutral... This post is replete with wrongheaded ideas.

So what's the point of the tax? Nice propaganda but reality tells a much different story

We could do what Dennis Meadows, one of the founders of Club of Rome and author of books on sustainable development advocates which is have a "smart dictatorship" until we lose about 6 billion people from the planet.

These are the sickos driving this fictional climate change nonsense... sounds like hitler

Two points:

1. An idiot supporting an idea doesn't mean the idea is wrong. If an idiot cites Einstein it doesn't mean there's no general relativity.

2. If it's fictional then all science, and what is based on it including Internet, iPhone, the car that burns precious gas the home with electric light and so on have to be "fictional" too. Or another possibility: you're in denial. All science and technology being wrong is a tall order. Folks being in denial, even of most obvious things, a commonplace.

Ah yes - tying climate change to an attempt to murder billions... from people so powerful that they could do so already.

These Conspiracy Theories are indeed needlessly complex and impossible to follow...

It's not a conspiracy theory... he said it.

1. Not just any idiot. The Club of Rome was instrumental in the development of the WEF. The UN has adopted the sustainable development agenda. Western nations have signed on to the Paris Accord. Canada has it written into law that we must report to the loonies at the UN our progress in the cult-like agenda. Aka this guy is instrumental in the development of governmental and corporate policy.

2. From what I can tell we are freaking everyone out, especially kids, by telling them they are going to burn to death unless we give our Supreme leaders money. In turn, it's now increasingly difficult to pay for essentials to life I.e food.

Your paranoia is destroying people's lives yet again

Yup we’re ruining our economy and lives over inconclusive science and the puritanical visions of central planners.  Canada needs to get off these hooks as soon as possible.  UNDRIP and the billions to fund endless war and suffering in Ukraine are yet more scams.

The Canadian government needs to address cost of living and let the unelected elites in Davos plan their dystopian dictatorship without the government of Canada’s support.

I'm quite certain that even with that tax rebate for that average family of four, they are falling behind overall because of the massive increase in the price of gas which has caused prices of just about everything else to go up.

$745 dollars right now pays for about half of the gas that it did a year or so ago.

I'm on the side that thinks we should pull out of the Paris Climate Accord.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like this agenda will be limited to just governments. Businesses now running on ESG scores for new investment... basically fascism on steroids

Yup.  If the goal of carbon taxes was to raise the cost of fuel to incentivize people to bike to work or buy $70,000 plus EV’s, we don’t have to worry, because the price of gas has doubled.  Making Canadians pay another 11 cents per litre is evil.

Yup, we need to stop stakeholder capitalism in its tracks.  The WEF’s ESG criteria and the UN’s SDG are finishing off humanity by making existence unaffordable.

So you want to write off anything that is not compatible with your denial as paranoia. Funny that then you go and complain about authoritarianism of the government. This is exactly what they do. Interesting, no? Could it be that you two are the sides of the same coin? Just a thought.

😆..

Not paranoia at all. These whackos are the ones influencing policy.

Only those living in denial can't see it

Gas doubled because of Putin, not carbon tax. So you want to write off Putin too? Sure the extent of denial is not limited by anything, facts or reason. But what will you do when Putin comes to you? Who will fight for you? Or maybe you will find compromises, common grounds and ideals? So much for the "freedom". That freedom means only be free of the reality, shut the doors and not hear anything - until it comes knocking and shaking. Ostrich's freedom.
