It hasn't been that cheap around here for a long long time.

A US gallon is 3.79 litres, so $4.95 USD/gal would be $1.30 US/litre, which is $1.63 Cdn/ltr.

It wasn't so long ago that gas here in BC was $1.63... according to Google it was Oct 31 of last year.

It's $2.26 here in BC right now. $1.8 US per litre. That's $6.82/US Gal. Gas in California averages $6.40/Gal.

Gas here in BC is ~ 6% more than in Cali and 38% higher than the US avg. The left coast. Sigh.

They tried to make Trump out to be a horrible president on the MSM in the US, everything that he did was "racist and stupid".

But islamic state was ground to ashes, Al Qaeda was gone or they were in hiding, the war in Afghanistan was winding down quite nicely, the economy was doing well despite covid, he got a Pflacebo, there was a wall going up, illegal immigration was going down, and no new wars were started. The planet was very stable and improving - there was even a normalizing of relations between Israel and an Arab nation.

On the down side, violent crime and Fentanyl deaths were still too high, but violent crime wasn't climbing like it is under Biden. Trump didn't do awesome in those areas but he did far better than Sleepy Joe.

Now, in addition to Bidenflation, the war in Afghanistan went to hell, Al Qaeda is back, the border went to hell, the Pflacebo hasn't had any effect on covid, but maybe worst of all, Russia and China have announced their new alliance and there's a major war in Europe. There could be a major war in Asia soon as well, because China keeps talking about invading Taiwan.

This reminds me of back in 2019 when Willam Devane's commercial would come on Fox News, and he'd say "In these uncertain times it's wise to invest in gold and silver..." and I'd lol. Sonofabitch. I'm not laughing at all now. These are absolutely uncertain times.

To say that uncertainty in NA spiked between 2019 and 2022 is an understatement. 2019 was Hakuna Matata and 2022 is that famous AC/DC song.....

One would think that with Biden's poll numbers so low right now and the midterms approaching that he would be inclined to make some sensible changes as his current policies are total failures. But no, he and his team seemed absolutely determined to double down on stupid. His energy policy does not work nor does it make any sense to keep ramming woke ideology down the throats of Americans. The government cannot keep printing more money and hope inflation goes away, it won't.

With Joe Biden in the white house the socialists that dominate the Democrats must have thought they died and went to heaven.

So many Americans are struggling now thanks to Biden's incompetence and I hope they turn turn out in record numbers for the midterms.

Joe Biden is record setting all right. in stupidity and weakness (next to another peanut brain democrat called Carter)

He continues negotiating with the terrorist government of islamic Republic of Iran

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/8/8/iran-nuclear-talks-end-producing-final-text-official

while they are sending agents to US to assassinate former top officials and American Citizens in US soil!!!!!!.

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/08/10/politics/justice-department-charges-iranian-with-trying-to-assassinate-john-bolton/index.html

Prosecutors said Shahram Poursafi, a 45-year-old Iranian national and IRGC member, attempted to pay $300,000 to an individual in the United States to kill Bolton and said he had a "second job" for $1 million.

And also recently attempting to assassinate American Iranian in US soil.

And in other, record setting ways, Ole' Joe has unified Americans like no other.  Here's a linky for you, Big Mike Hardner!

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/08/21/nbcs-chuck-todd-americans-are-angry-disappointed-74-say-country-on-wrong-track/

Quote

a new NBC News poll finds “Americans are angry” with a graphic showing 74% of those polled say the country is on the wrong track.

Todd said, “We are less than three months before the Midterms and our brand new NBC News poll paints a pretty bleak picture. Americans are angry. They are disappointed, and they are worried about the future of this country.”

He continued, “Just 21% of adults say we are headed in the right direction. Once again three out of four Out of 4 Americans say we are on the wrong track. In fact, this number never before in this poll has this wrong track number been over 70% for this long. It’s been nearly a year now. 58% say America’s best years are behind us. That’s an all-time high in our polls.”

Yes that's right.  It's record setting, says Chuck Todd:  "...Never before in this poll has thing wrong track number been over 70% for this long.  It's been nearly a year now."

There's this aspect of the new toxic politics where cult members think that we LIKE Biden.  It's amusing sometimes. ?

well when you're constantly bashing Trump

and you rarely, if ever, bash Biden

people are going to rightfully see you as a Democrat shill

whether you like Biden or not

you do it yourself

if you want to be seen as more objective and less hackish

then a 100:1 Trump to Biden bashing ratio isn't the way to come across like that

protip

1. Well deserved criticism isn't 'bashing'.

2. I don't have anything positive to say about him either.

3. Only if they espouse false binary toxicity.

Or...of course...if they actually READ your posts.

You're a Libbie shill Mikie...through and through. Grow a pair and quit trying to sit on the fence. The facade has faded.

1) most of your criticisms of Trump are not well deserved

2) Biden deserves plenty of well deserved criticism, yet you criticize him far less than Trump

3) you are part of the binary, if you rarely criticize Biden and often criticize Trump

some people aren't part of the binary, but clearly you are, based on your actions

an objective observer would not behave that way

you can claim you're not biased and don't pick sides in the binary all you want

your actions reveal that to be a lie

100:1 Trump to Biden criticism ratio, doesn't lie

Gas prices have fallen every day for the last 79 days!  Way to go, Biden!

And the awesome United States of America is shipping billions of dollars worth of weapons to Ukraine to stop Putin. Trump wouldn’t send Ukraine anything, unless he could get some dirt on Biden in return. No quid pro quo, Ukraine, no ammo.  I’m so glad that we have Biden leading the free world in a United boycott against Putin and the armament of Ukraine. Trump attacked NATO and hated democratic leaders like Macron, Trudeau, and Merkel. He liked loser dictators and fascists like Putin and Bolsonaro.

What a difference a couple of months make.

Everything was Biden's fault; never mind that inflation was high worldwide due to near universal supply chain issues AND Putin's INVASION OF UKRAINE.
