May the anger of God give the liars a miserable rest of lives and the fire of hell after their dirty lives in this world end. And if they reincarnate I hope they reincarnate as a dirty thirsty dog in a desert or a starving pig in a farm. No insult to dogs or pigs intended.

@Nationalist - You clearly don't know a damn thing about Iran's self-imposed islamic regime who came to power in a coup in 1979 with lies and false promises of freedom, independence and equality in 1979 and has brought Iranians nothing but repression, war, imprisonment. torture, executions, war, poverty, hunger, misery, hate and oppression.

Yeah I bet women in Iran are happy as they are attacked and beaten up by morality police for bad hijab or refused equal rights in many aspects of life like equal division if inheritance or right to divorce and child custody or even travel abroad. They are arrested and put in prison for simple task of singing or dancing even in their own bedrooms.

The population of Iran both women and men are very brave but so far they have failed to liberate Iran from these islamic occupiers who have done nothing but destroy Iran and expand cemeteries because the regime of mullahs is too barbaric and many thousands have lost their lives in uprisings or ended up in prisons and tortured or murdered.

Dictatorships don't last forever. They will fall sooner or later. Even powerful dictatorships like Nazi Germany and evil Soviet empire fell. Islamic republic will fall too hopefully sooner rather than later.

Fine...but for now...let them play soccer for Gawd's sake.

It is out of my hands but personally  I believe Iran soccer players (and Iran nation) are overwhelmingly against this barbaric regime and are supporting the women of Iran. A few were brave enough to speak out against the regime's action to block stadium entry to women in spite of massive repression in that country. So you are right. I agree.

Team Canada cancels soccer match with Iran national team. Many Iranians have written to Canadian government and their MPs asking for the cancelation of this game. Even though it is sporting event and most but all Iranians are supporting their national team full-heartedly however, this team wears and plays under the hated islamin republic flag and in some views may represent the hated regime of mullahs who are currently engaged in a war against the defenseless women and men of Iran and is murdering them.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/iran-soccer-team-player-concerns-friendly-match-cancelled-1.6469191

The cancelation followed weeks of anti-islamic republic protests iin Iran while the murderous security forces under order by the ruling islamic clergy are shooting into crowd of peaceful demonstrators.

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/iranian-police-fire-shots-teargas-disperse-protests-over-building-collapse-2022-05-28/

Many have been killed. Most recent is today's demonstration in Abadan where a few days ago a well known building collapsed under corrupt supervision of government and many killed.

Hail to the the great nation of Canada. Canada wants nothing to do with any evil regime of thugs of islamic republic.

Question is what good does it really do. If that's all they can do, it doesn't achieve much. Some of these ideas people try against Iran, like sanctions, may actually achieve the opposite. They might only hurt the people of Iran, not the theocratic regime.

Plus they are allied with other "rogue" nations who are in the same boat, and so it's obvious they will make alliances with them, creating a new axis.

It shows the world is supporting defenseless Iranian nation against this barbaric murderous islamic regime of Ayatollahs and criminal guards. It makes them more determined to rise up and remove the dirt. It will be up to this nation to remove these mullahs and clean up their country from this occupying dirt and free their ancient nation.

Sadly the only way is by bloody revolution. If there is “intervention” by the west I fear the worst. Examples are Iraq, Afghanistan, who are arguably worse off now.

Citizens of Iran could try to stage a revolution themselves, but at what cost?

Sometimes it is better to tolerate, moderately criminal regimes rather than using force to achieve, some kinda utopian vision that may be impossible.

Question is, where do you draw the line on that?

It’s up to Iranians I say.

US et al don’t give a hootin about Iran’s internal problems,  but for things like oil and nuclear threats they will get a rise. Otherwise, you people can wait a long, long time.

I agree completely that was why I said in my post Iranian nation themselves must rise up and overthrow this criminal murderous islamic regime imposed on them and remove and hang the dirt. But they should know they are not alone in their struggle for freedom and democracy and the free world (Fucking Russia and China excluded as they help out this regime in exchange for benefits) and freedom loving nations.

No, this regime is not moderately criminal. It is extremely murderous and corrupt and they are totally destroying the country of Iran and targeting its defenseless nation. In long term, if God forbid the mullahs stay in power there will be no Iran and what remains is disintegrated Iran and a destroyed, torn off nation after 2500 years of history.

Canadian players against playing the game with Iran national team.

https://chatnewstoday.ca/2022/05/27/osorio-says-canadian-players-told-canada-soccer-they-were-against-iran-game/

Hail to Canadian players who refused to play against a team which in essence have to play under the hated islamic republic flag. Most players are great and against the regime too but the people and security guards who accompany the players to keep tight eye on them not to seek political refugee status are all from the murderous Sepah or revolutionary guards who are currently engaged in a war against this unarmed defenseless nation in the streets  of Khuzestan and Iran.

A group of teenagers under 16 gathered together in Shiraz, Iran yesterday just talking and some of the girls in the public place refused to wear the damn hated hijab imposed by subhuman ruling islamic clergy after the coup of 1979 (before this coup women in Iran had the freedom to choose whether to wear hijab or not in public. A true democracy but was contradictory to their version of islam).

This totally innocent gathering has offended the subhuman mullahs and some islamic clergy asking for the punishment of the children involved!!!!!. So far 10 innocent teenagers have been arrested.

https://iranwire.com/en/society/105133-moral-panic-teenagers-arrested-for-gathering-without-headscarves-in-shiraz

This shows the depth of the hate that the nation has for this subhuman ruling clergy. The day of liberation from the tyranny of this regime is near. The nation is fighting back in any possible manner they can as their country has been occupied by this alien Arab loving anti-Iran group of satanic monsters.

Those mercenary bastards who claim Iran is free and there is democracy in Iran are nothing but collaborators and traitors and murderous bastards.

Murderous traitor mercenary. You are not a human but subhuman to prop up a murderous regime such as islamic republic of Iran moldering its citizens and beating them to death by lying The money you receive is blood money. The blood of your sisters and brothers. I hope you are hanged soon after a massive incoming revolution.

It looks like what I proposed several months ago in this thread may now become a reality!!!!!

https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/19/football/iran-fifa-world-cup-football-spt-intl/index.html

A law firm has sent a letter to FIFA on behalf of a group of former and current Iranian sports figures urging football’s governing body to suspend the Iranian Football Federation (FFIRI) and ban it from participating at this year’s World Cup in Qatar.

“Iran’s brutality and belligerence towards its own people has reached a tipping point, demanding an unequivocal and firm disassociation from the footballing and sports world,” a press released issued alongside the letter reads.

Kick the islamic republic team out of world cup now.

Islamic republic's gross violation of human rights and women's right which recently has extended to using live bullets on peaceful protesters, abducting and rape and murder of female protesters and even kidnapping of the dead bodies giving more reasons to FIFA to ban the fascist republic from the world cup.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/63463937#:~:text=Iran should be banned from, from participating in the tournament.
