Jagmeet Singh Sees Opportunity

During the weeks of protests, all I ever heard from Singh was "ban this!   ban that!"  Not surprising coming from a communist-leaning ideology!

Ban the confederate flag!   Ban the swastika flag!   HELLO?   YOO-HOOO?

Tone-deaf Jagmeet - haven't you been listening?  It's all these restrictions that's caused all these problems - people are fed up!

Let's take a closer look at what he's been encouraging Trudeau to do:

This is from a socialist website:

Even before Trudeau announced that he was proclaiming a “public order emergency” late Monday afternoon, the trade union-backed New Democratic Party (NDP) had declared that it would provide the minority Liberal government with the votes it needs to win Parliament’s retroactive approval of the government’s recourse to emergency measures. Speaking to reporters Monday morning, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh also signalled Canada’s social-democrats would be ready to support the deployment of the military to disperse the far right, absurdly named Freedom Convoy, should that prove necessary.

Now, you're prodding Junior with his tantrums to declare what?  MARTIAL LAW?

Singh doesn’t support the working people of Canada.  He doesn’t see the plight of people who have been thrown out of work because of the pandemic and unconstitutional policies.  He’s making the protests about race, even though there are protesters of all backgrounds.  His own brother donated to the protest.  Is his brother a “racist” and a “misogynist”?

Do not forget that Singh is voting to support martial law on Monday night.

He’s as arrogant, privileged, and out of touch as Trudeau.

It would be fine if the far-right focused their efforts on whether to allow Nazi flags or not.  That would be a fitting issue for them on which to stake their reputation with the Canadian people.

The imposition of martial law and the unconstitutional vaccine mandates have nothing to do with white supremacy.  Stop this.  You’re no better than Trudeau for making something mean something it isn’t.  How many swastikas were there at the protests?  One? Two?   Were the people carrying them Nazism supporters or were they saying Trudeau is a Nazi?   Did anyone interview them? You don’t know but why not rush to judgement? I do know what the person thinks who carried the sign saying, “Gas the unvaccinated.”   What about the USSR flag at the protest that someone filmed?   Once you start looking for outlier examples in order to discredit the roughly 10,000 people who proclaimed that they were there to oppose vaccine mandates, you’re doing Trudeau’s dirty work.  That’s called collaboration.

NDP is tanking hard in the polls, see Nanos's most recent. They've betrayed the working class. I completely get why they are in such decline as I have supported them in the past (no longer).

This means they'll cling onto power even harder by supporting the Liberals. They're broke and can't afford another election on top of low polling numbers.

don't have to be far-right to support freedom of speech

you can be against something and not for it being banned

smart people understand this

I don't like those offensive flags, but I also wouldn't ban them.  A flag has never hurt anyone, except their feelings, and people shouldn't have a right to simply not be offended by speech.  It's just a piece of cloth.

Was the Nazi flag representing the flag bearer, or was it a display condemning Trudeau and his Nazi like behavior during this peaceful protest.

I understand what you're saying 100%, and I also see Betsy's point about letting people wave those flags to out themselves, but Jagmeet wasn't really talking about banning those flags anyways.

He was just using up oxygen to 'reference' those flags in an attempt to make it seem as if they were really there.

It's like if I said that "we should ban terrorists from attending NDP cabinet meetings". Jagmeet himself is merely a 'terrorist sympathizer & supporter', but no one has enough evidence to prove that he's an actual terrorist himself. The comment itself would just be made to lend credibility to something that's actually non-existent, or at least something that's not currently proven. (It's worth noting that Jagmeet is banned from entering India because of his close ties to known terrorists and his support of people who have spoken in favour of using violence to achieve their political goals, which are centred around religious bigotry.)

Here's an idea. Let's ban turbins. The Sikhs have done horrible things in the past. So let's ban the sign of them...the turbin.

I support the cultural headgear you sport, though it is a foreign symbol.

True conservatives celebrate the right to express yourself.

Indeed. Yet all the true conservatives have been maligned and attacked for our beliefs.

It's time to fight back and turn this libbie assault back on them. Adopt their weapons and aim them right at them.

that includes the Nazi flag

if you're a true conservative

free speech is at the top of the list of things to conserve

whether one agrees with that speech or finds it offensive, doesn't change the equation

Hear hear.

Religious rights, LGBTQ, ethnic rights and tolerance of others' opinions...

Indeed. Do Libbies respect Canadian heritage? Or do they condemn it? Do Libbies celebrate normal sexuality? Or do they make every effort to marginalize it? Do Libbies respect opposing opinions? Or do they shut them down by any means necessary?

When is it ok to fight back?
