De Santis vs Trump 2024

Recommended Posts

we've been here before

my political awakening as a boy was during the Malaise of the Carter Administration

and the subsequent rise of MAGA in the wake

it has all come around again

the stagflation, the energy crisis, the Democrat Party become a lunatic asylum

except this time it is bigger

the disinflation has been more extreme in the run up

the debt bubble is exponentially greater

and the Democrat Party has gone even more insane now

welcome to the 1970's on steroids

3. Am a huge Trump fan

1. 3. You are with the minority of Americans who approved of him.  Probably the worst president of all time.

2. Where did you get such a specific date?

1. You have poor judgment

I have 59 years as an American citizen. Do you?  I have been blessed with the good sense not to flush away tradition Christian and western values. Have you?

LOL. What planet are you on! It is THE LEFT, not the Right, that promotes, sodomy, infanticide, socialism, grooming little kids sexually, government control of our lives, and more. Don't you dare talk to me about morals bub. Those are official policies of democrats.

I might find the errant bad Republican here and there on a one by one basis, but being immoral and reprehensible is the official policy of the Left here.

You don't have a clue.

my highest fealty is to the Declaration of Independence

can't kill an idea

any additional undertaking of oaths to the British Crown are my burden

I could come home to the Republic

but for some reason, I just can't abandon the freedom loving Canadians here

trapped behind an iron curtain against American freedom

So Americans right now are better off under Biden compared to Trump?  How so?

If the next presidential election were held today, former President Donald Trump would defeat President Biden by six percentage points and Vice President Kamala Harris by 11 percentage points, according to a new poll.

The 45th president would unseat Biden by a 47% to 41% margin, according to the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll published by The Hill. However, 12% of voters are undecided.

How did you get this from my statement?

You said Trump was probably the worst President of all time. That covers an awful lot of time. So one would presume from your statement that you think Trump's successor and his policies are better for Americans.

Yes, but that doesn't mean things are better right now either.

Things were better under Trump than under George Washington also.

In my opinion Americans were better off under Trump compared to the disastrous first half of Biden's first term. Trump understood the importance of being energy independent with oil and gas. Biden does not and his puppeteers are trying to kill off the industry. Biden is not entirely to blame for the record levels of inflation but he has done nothing to alleviate it either. If Trump were still President Americans would not be paying the same high prices at the pump which of course drive up the cost of everything else. Trump's policy of America first was sensible. Bernie Sanders was correct when he stated that Biden will be the most progressive President ever. He certainly is and it's been a shit-show from day one.

President Trump captures the energy of the base

so his endorsement is required as a seal of approval

at the same time, the base wants to win

and Governor DeSantis opens the way for a landslide victory

I am sure that Trump or DeSantis could win. I will grant you that DeSantis could probably win bigger. I would also remind you that Trump did win in 2020 and the election was stolen. That is a fact.

Either way, the liars in the press and the cheaters on the ground will be operating at 110% to deny either one their victory.

We in America are in a Civil War. We know that. The time for debate and civility is over.

I have no quarrel with Trump

no enemies on the right

I am more of a Goldwater Republican

but it's a big tent, and Trump has a special talent for connecting with the common man

just win, baby

I agree with this, because Trump would not have opposed Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Do you have any thoughts as to why Putin became so much more aggressive while Biden is President? Don't forget China. Why are some other countries not even taking calls from Biden?

It's also debatable if Putin would have even invaded Ukraine if Trump was still President.

1. 2. This has been years in the making.  Yes he would have invaded.
