very few

basically everyone who supports the truckers didn't vote for Trudeau in 2021

and those who did vote for him don't support the truckers

this doesn't hurt Trudeau at all

it helps him

Trudeau loves to run against protestors

it was his go to when O'Toole was surging in the polls

Fuck Trudeau and Fuck his supporters.

This has gone too far. Its like living in jail.

Fuck Trudeau and his limp noodle supporters all to hell!

I'm with you

I simply take issue with the wishful thinking

and projecting your views on the freedom hating majority of Canadians

we are not the majority, bet that

I have a modest little fortune in property. I have loved Canada all my life. Now...I just want out. Sell everything and go LIVE like a human being.

And Trudeau and Ford...if you're watching...

FUCK BOTH OF YOU!

I'd recommend Tennessee, Nevada, Florida or Texas

don't move to a blue state

they are as loony tunes as Canada

I remember falling in love with California...so long ago now. San Francisco was magical. Wouldn't go there for nuthin', now.

I would ask you the same question--do you think a high enough death rate would justify lockdowns even though they limit our basic rights? But unlike goddess, you never met a tough question you were willing to answer honestly. So I won't bother.

No, not for an extended period of time.  Perhaps for the initial onset to gain more of an understanding of the virus.

a real shame the Democrats had to ruin it

they can turn the greatest state in the union into a communist hellhole in just a few decades

if you let them run the place

truly tragic

I have a country house in Czech. I might just look for a winter home in somewhere like Costa Rica.

North America is a dead zone now. Morons and election thieves in the US...and limp noodles in Canada.

America is where it's at

if liberty is your thing

you just have to be picky about which state to live in

Florida is far freer than Costa Rica or the Czech Republic, bet that

where as California and New York are like Canada

America is quite diverse, and varies vastly from state to state

it's not a monolith, which is one of it's greatest strengths

bastions of freedom exist in America, that don't exist anywhere else in the world

Unfortunately Canada isn’t as free as the United States, but the states also vary in their levels of freedom. California and New York states are marginally freer than most Canadian provinces right now, but Americans are fleeing California and New York for states like Florida and Texas.  Even Democrats are making the move.  When even members of the radical Democratic  wing are vacationing in Florida to feel free again (AOC), well, actions speak louder than words.

The point is that freedom has tremendous inherent value. The importance of the truck convoy is preventing government from being able to violate our rights and freedoms at will.  In Canada, individuals don’t have discretion over their own healthcare.  Don’t obey the mandates and your basic citizens’ rights are removed.  It’s totalitarian.

Why would fundamental rights be overwritten at the onset before you even know how fatal it is? That makes no sense.

You're suggesting they shut everything down but if they're too successful in limiting deaths, they need to open again? Why would it be okay to override fundamental rights before you even "have an understanding of the virus"?

So you agree there should be no public health measures whatsoever, no matter how fatal the virus?

when did I say that?

I simply said the government response is about compliance

not science

if the threat warranted this reaction

then we can talk about temporary restrictions of fundamental freedoms

until then

stop trying to jam the round covid peg into the square hole and btfo

I lived in Nevada, had a house in Vegas for 8 years.  It was wonderful.  Worst thing I did was sell.

My sister and I are looking at Costa Rica right now.  We're like you - seriously thinking of getting the he!! outta Dodge.

There are websites now with information on how Canadians can get out of the country.  Very helpful.

No.  Shutting things down isn’t for limiting deaths.  You’re still operating on that false narrative.
