Trucker's Convoy

And yes, I'm going to mock and shame all you dolts until you learn not to let them do this to us again.

When they told businesses to close, if every business owner said "No", what were they gonna do about it? Jail the entire country?

Trudeau hid during the convoy and then the mandates got dropped.

Imagine if more of us stood up to them.

Politicians need to be more afraid of us than we are of them.

That's how ALL their bullcrap stops.

Trudeau is not a leader.  He had yet another bout of convenient covid.  Hid out, derogatory snipes, Emergency Act, Liberal Govt. meddling with Canadian citizen bank/finances, etc., etc.  All the work of the chickensh!t that he is.  A real leader would have conducted him/herself like a real leader.  Meet with the truckers, hear their concerns, try to work out a solution/compromise, and hopefully get them and the country moving again.

Trudeau is a fool, he duped a large block of voters and has run this once great country into the ground.  He's a traitor, an enemy of Canada . . .

Politicians are already long since afraid of us - its why they candy coat so much of what of what they say. Too many people simply can't take anything without having a paroxysmal fit over it.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Can you admit that our government did anything wrong during the pandemic.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Kamala didn't get where she is because of her achievements or anything that came out of her mouth.

Of course they made mistakes.

Like what?

Not giving more consideration to how freaked out so many right wing nuts would be for starters.

Of course the only cure for that is a much deeper more penetrating transparency of governments than right wing nuts are willing to impose on their betters.

So basically, a slight communications issue?

That's it?  Everything else was fine with you?

Color me.....not surprised.

Are you afraid of politicians??

'I do not know anyone that is afarid of a politician.

They have always been afraid f us because we can not vote for them and that scares the shit out of them LOL

As for thre2 convoy clowns...if they get any more than a slap on the fingers, that would be a real surprise. That was my take years ago and it is stil my take.

No, just a typically grotesque feature of Canadian  politics.

It wasn't as bad as it could have been. Thankfully Trudeau recognized he was in over his head and largely left things up to medical experts. It's not their fault they had a population that was so lit up with gas going into the pandemic.

Like I said it could have been worse, look at the US for example.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

You are.

You're a blindly obedient drone that questioned nothing.  And you mock the people who do have the ballz to stand up to government overreach.

How many more millions of people does the government need to murder before you pick up a weapon?

If I truly believed with all my heart and soul that Trudeau and the Liberals were part of a plot to do that I would have flown an airliner into Parliament by now.

I can't imagine that this could have happened 20 or 30 years ago. I just don't think people would have put up with this nonsense. I think it is important to stand up, but I also think it's important to understand why people are so subservient nowadays. In many cases, it's the very people who have always taken great pride in being anti-establishment who marched in lockstep.

you mean like during the Oka Crisis of 1990 ?

when the Mohawks tried to defend their burial grounds from being turned into a golf course

and Canada deployed a Mechanized Brigade of HM Canadian Army to encircle and crush them ?

I don't think this is comparable to covid because it was a more localized issue. Covid was global. Lockdowns were global. People, for better or for worse, care less about things that don't affect them directly. Maybe they shouldn't be that way. But that is another argument.

Maybe people were always lemmings to some degree, but I think that it's been far worse in the last 10 - 15 years.

Now that the WHO has declared Monkeypox a "global health emergency", I fear they're going to do it again.  Or with Bird Flu.  They keep trying, but less and less people are falling for it this time.

And ya, the same people running around screaming with their hair on fire, breathlessly following the "cases" will freak out AGAIN and demand the government "do something!  ANYTHING!" will be doing it again.

I don't completely blame the gov't.  I also blame the hair-on-fire people.  If more of us had said NO! to lockdowns, business closures, expensive interventions that did next to nothing except pad the wallets of all our politicians who suddenly created PPE companies.....we wouldn't be in the mess we are.

Ha Ha Ha

There is not a politician in th world that strikes fear into me. LOL

Blowing smoke on a forum sure does not make you anything that anyone is scared of LOL You are an internet zero. Lots of BS behind a keyboard.

As I said years ago and again, the convoy was useless (as history tells you) and the convpy clowns will get their fingers slapped and be a footnote on a Wikipedia page  somewhere LOL

Yes, I volunteered to join a community death squad. It was a very rewarding experience especially mentoring the younger people that were involved.

well you can't swing a dead cat in Canada now, without hitting somebody accusing Canada of "Genocide"

but I don't believe that Canadians have the resolve to hang anybody from the lampposts

the Canadian model is in fact to exile the ostensible rebels to America

then later,  when Canada realizes that it has gone too far, readmit them in chastened ignominy

William Lyon MacKenzie knows

Maybe, but Covid is still pretty fresh in everyone's mind and folks just got tired of it. Overall, though, I think we are on our way to more stuff like this, because I think people question things less and less.

I would suggest that the political class is aware that they blew their political capital on Covid

in that, to try to reimpose lockdowns now, when the population is primarily concerned with economic survival ?

that really could incite a revolt which makes the Trucker Freedom Convoy look like a Bouncy Castle love camp

They can march on Ottawa claiming discrimination when no one wants to work beside or be served by their blistered, pus dripping faces. Their convoy followed by Public Works trucks sprinkling Lysol.
The ProPalestiners will march with them in 'solidarity'.
