Totally false.

martial law

military government, involving the suspension of ordinary law.

"unlike the previous military interventions, the general did not declare martial law"

There is no "martial law" being imposed in Canada.  Far from it.  There is an Emergency Act, which is utilizing the police to enforce the laws in specific locations to clear illegal occupiers.  It has no requirement or effect on the rest of the country.  There is no military government and no suspension of ordinary law as required for it be defined as martial law.

That’s not true.  The military is an available tool in this act.  Reading of rights and normal due process are not required.  What’s crazier is that when a shooter killed an officer guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and entered Parliament, that was considered less worthy of this Act than the protests.   9/11 didn’t usher in such measures in Canada.

look at the eyes of the Mounties

they are scared to look directly into the camera

they look away, averting their eyes, which are wide like pie plates

they know what they are doing is wrong

they are pretty sure its probably unlawful

they know it is a fiasco

and they know the whole is watching

we are winning, and they know it

I was a Royal Canadian Regiment Battleschool instructor

I was a soldier who made men into soldiers

I am professionally qualified to assess the operation

in court I would be considered a subject matter expert

and I have all the certificates to authenticate that

More angles of it

and that is not backed up by any lawful authority, that police officer is committing a crime

under Canadian law

but more seriously

because he is committing this crime under war powers invoked illegitimately

that is a war crime under national & international law & the laws of armed conflict

Why would they invoke the act for either. The attack on Parliament lasted minutes and 9/11 didn't happen in Canada..

Yes I see it too.  Sadly these people, like many who disagree with new forms of state-mandated behaviour/views are battling internal struggles and accepting self-abnegation, because they’ve committed themselves to these jobs and they have families to support.  Trudeau’s government has put civilian citizens and the citizens who police them in this horribly compromised position.

You seem to forget the context.  Governments in the west were taking emergency measures to inspect potential sleeper cells and possible terrorist planning.  Remember the Toronto Ten?

Yup.  If mainstream media doesn’t show this you know we’re in serious trouble as a society.  It would an act of deception in which media are complicit.  CBC and CTV better show they’re more than government cheerleaders.

January 6. 4 dead and needed National Guard.

Ottawa 0 dead and handled by police.

The U.S. did not declare a national emergency and impose martial law for the entire country.   Trudeau overreached after local, provincial, and federal government screwed up policies and police response to begin with.   Epic failure....

they really just thought everybody was going to run away

but when the protestors called that bluff

Trudeau & his cronies have gone charging into some seriously deep & cold waters

I mean, can you imagine if you had signed off on this fiasco ? Your name was on the legal line for this ?

Not martial law, not even closes. Habeas Corpus has not been suspended and the Charter is still in effect.
