The push is on of the Omicron or Omnicon virus.

You mean Peter McCullough, the guy who said on Joe Rogan that the pandemic was planned? He also said that people are immune to covid after their first exposure. That's some pretty bang-on science.

COVID came from a BSL4 lab in China, about 6 months after Trump paraded around saying that he won a trade war China.

COVID targets fat people (Americans), and it gave the Dems the 2020 election and undemocratic power over Americans.

It's not like his theory is completely unfounded or unlikely.

There's no one among the top Dems and the leaders of the Chinese gov't that would shed a tear over the covid target demographic.

How is that any more inaccurate than the claims about the vaccines? Would you call them "bang-on science"?

This intentional hate-mongering towards the unvaccinated is very worrying. I guess it is silly to draw comparisons between now and the 1930s but you just can't help thinking about the similarities between the times.

Yes, the entire COVID nuttiness is alarming to me.  I was on the fence until the over reaction to Omicron.  Now I think our liberty is in jeopardy.

There certainly is massive corruption.  Another example of how Canadians facilitated is a top Canadian official on the WHO pretended that Taiwan did not exist.  That is pure Chi Com propaganda.  The WHO is essentially there to provide cover for China.  And Fauci is a petty little dwarf who kept flip flopping on our response to COVID.  I especially love how Rand Paul smacks that little COVID pervert down,

How could they have predicted the Republicans would politicize the virus and mismanage it with such incredible incompetence. If Trump addressed it like a rational person, he would have won a landslide. I don't think the Chinese are so brilliant they could pull your plan off, never mind them being so brilliant to know the future and how Trump would react.

Doug Ford will probably win a bigger majority because of his half-competent handling of the virus. Did he foil the Chinese plans?

I’d pay it if it meant enjoying the freedom people in Florida have versus the creepy restrictions we live under in Ontario.  It really is another world, but Canadians think that what we’re living right now is typical and necessary.  It is not.

It's winter in Canada, people are indoors. Everyone is outdoors during winter in Florida.

Florida's deaths per million population is 3.6 times Canada.

LOL  The Democrat totally politicized the pandemic by laying each death on Trump, as though no one was ever going to die.  As for Ford he is an example of another fake conservative becoming a dictator since COVID.  Same happened to Australia and Boris, the other fake conservative in the UK.

Again playing this game of casualty counting....there are valid reasons why a country with higher population density and unhealthier people would have a different COVID outcome.

Casualty counting is what it is all about. It's the reason for restrictions. Except for those who want their freedoms at the cost of other people's lives

Don’t you see any difference between where we started and where we are now?   This is why we can’t have nice things.

No its a way for the left to try to lay all the blame of COVID on conservatives who think there should be some barrier to losing our freedoms.  Grownups AKA adults understand their is always a balance of responding to a health crisis and personal freedoms.  After all we don't ban cars.  This so called crisis has killed off a whopping 1/10th of a percent of the world population.  Hardly the crisis they said would have happened which was 1-2% dead.  It didn't even stall population growth.  And unlike the Spanish Flu, which killed the healthy, COVID is knocking off elderly that may have died within a year or so anyways.

We know a lot more and we have vaccines that will keep the great majority out of hospital. We have also seen that new variants coming out of regions with very low vaccination rates are something we will have to live with until a majority of people on the planet are vaccinated. Omicron may be less severe but there is no guarantee there won't be worse variants to come along.

People throughout history have put up with a lot more for a lot longer.

History?  Has Canada ever enacted lock down measures in the past?  Even for the Spanish Flu?

It is a way to justify doing what you want at the cost of others lives, either through Covid itself or the inability of health care systems to cope with non covid cases because they are overloaded.

Cars aren't a contagious disease and we need them to get around and provide us with goods and services. How many do you think this disease would have killed with no measures taken and no vaccines. Why do you keep bringing up dumb things like cars and compare them to highly infectious diseases? You can't give someone a car accident by breathing on them.

Had a couple of world wars. Had rationing and all sorts of other consumables not available because of them. No private motor vehicles were built 1943 and 1944 in the US and longer than that in Canada as industry concentrated on war production.

We haven't had a pandemic since the Spanish Flu. It killed 50,000 Canadians, which would equate to about 240,000 with today's population. Is that what you would want?

Canadians are damn lucky and spoiled. They haven't had to experience near the traumas that most other nations have.

That's just stupidity talking. You're regurgitating left wing spin as if it's 'news'.

Trump started operation warp speed back in May of 2020, but it didn't start the day it was conceived. Getting that going was, according to leftist dogma, the most significant undertaking of the entire pandemic.

By contrast our 'hero', Trudeau, didn't even order vaccines until after the rest of the world had already ordered. He had to poach vaxxes from the 3rd world charity pool just to get us started on vaxxes. In short, Trump did his part with the vaccines in March and April, Trudeau didn't even start until November.

CNN had a death toll trcker during the Trump Presidency and attributed all of those deaths to Trump lol. DOgshit-stupid leftists gobbled it up. More deaths have actually occurred since Biden was elected, and he inherited the vaccines, but the tracker is gone.

CNN needs to put up a "stranded in Afghanistan" tracker now.

We just don't know but the COVID crowd will always try to claim they saved lives, even though they make wild predictions that never came true.

It's a very minor disease that hasn't really killed that many people.  The number dead just doesn't justify the lock down measures.

Leftists are either stupid or totally intellectually dishonest.  Never before, like with SARS for example, did we try to count deaths to actually blame them on the current administration.  CNN was always and only about Trump bashing as Zucker had a personal vendetta.  And it is Governors that decide on lockdowns and shut downs, not POTUS.  The PMO has more centralized power than the US head of state.

World meter.  Canada is 803 deaths per SMile.  Flordia is 2916.  Again population density is 10 for Canada and 405 for Florida.  And Americans are less healthy.  Still, I concede population density is not everything.  Japan and South Korea have fared really well.  We just don't know all the factors that go into these death rates/

In this country we have among the highest vaccination rates, probably above 90% in some parts. And according to federal minister of health, "vaccination is the only way out of the pandemic" adding that mandatory vaccinations can be introduced by provinces.

That's it. Just like that it's here, arrived. What do you see, looking around, with one of highest vaccination levels in the world? Do you see it, what ministers and officials see, "way out of the pandemic" anywhere around you with restrictions and lockdowns reinstated, yet again? This is becoming a scary-weird orwellian-authoritarian state, no need to look around and think because we're telling this, just do.

A system or society on a downward trajectory can coast for a long while without noticing, for decades even. But then at some point something happens and slow decline becomes a steep slide, a swan's dive. Is that what we're seeing here? Will there be a return to normal? Who can tell, and how?

Most Canadians live in cities, you can't include millions of square miles of frozen tundra with a few thousand people.

No.  We should not be wearing masks for years and clamping down endlessly on human freedom because a few can’t handle mild risk
