Why Canadians re-elected a Liberal government?

Considering Canadians are not "doers" and lets be frank not ones to put themselves out there, it is never going to happen.  What will happen is Canada will become more and more lawless as we let in move Syrian and other muslim welfare recipients into Canada.

I’ve never heard of the Syrian refugee violence issue.

Do you have any information on it?  Some stats that show Syrian refugees tend to be more violent?

"One Sunday when I preached on how the Bible does not teach socialism, a woman said to me afterward, “I completely disagree with you.”
“Wonderful! What do you disagree with?”
She said, “I believe we are our brother’s keeper.”
I said, “I completely agree with you. I believe we are, too. The difference with you and me is I believe we are our brother’s keeper, and you believe that the government is our brother’s keeper.”
Her mouth fell open, and she walked out without saying another word. That concept is the difference between Christianity and socialism.

thats fine  atleast the constant whining from  AB/sask would be gone.

Maybe if they got paid - by another province - to sit on their ass all day getting fat they wouldn't be complaining so much.

You will justify anything. 300 billion in debt was NOT neccessary.

Then how much would you suggest was needed to get people to stay home without driving them into poverty, while at the same time, paying for the added burden on the healthcare system?

That is what I can’t get my head around.  Are there so many jobs now because of the unemployment rate improving.  Or is it a function of people not wanting to come off CERB?

IMO, it is too soon for re-opening the economy. The supports like CERB should continue as long as the lockdown and the lockdown should continue until everyone is vaccinated. People on CERB are doing the right thing. It is the sh--heads who won't get vaccinated who are to blame.

Unfortunately, Mr. O'Toole lost some support for the same reason Mr. Sheer did. For Mr. Sheer, it was a question about women's choice and for Mr. O'Toole, it was the questions about gun control and vaccines. He should have been prepared for the question and given an unequivocal, clear decisive answer. It is better to alienate a few supporters with a clear answer they don't like than to alienate a lot of voters by not answering and appearing indecisive. It was the vaccine question that really dogged him. All he needed to say was "all our candidates are fully vaccinated because we don't tolerate stupid people in our caucus. We will use every legal tool at our disposal to vaccinate everyone in Canada."

On the gun control question, it never should have been included in the policy book. "We support the ban in place."

The one big complaint the average voter has regarding politicians is they are afraid to answer questions clearly.

Well most refugees come from war torn regions. They are used to seeing violence and death and raised differently some with cultures totally different with Canada's peaceful and respect for all especially those from middle east and Africa.

Sort of like all the Germans Canada took in after WWII?   Except, they were enemy soldiers…. Not friendly civilians.

No offense but people in your part of the country have to work less in order to collect those benefits.

The Issues Facing Canada’s Employment Insurance Program (fraserinstitute.org)

In a nutshell, the benefits are easier to collect where you are and therefore you have less incentive to actually relocate to find work.

why should we relocate  for work?  jobs need to be done here also.

You should read from page 6 on in the link I posted above. I'm talking about those people that do not work most of the time. Able bodied people who don't contribute their fair share to the system. Anyone gainfully employed has little reason to move if they support themselves. I'm fortunate in that I have never been laid off since I started working 38 years ago but it bugs me that a lot of people in this country game the system and only work enough to collect benefits or they won't work at all. And I mean able bodied people, not anyone with disabilities.

lol lies like usual.. its ontario quebec  atlantic canada and parts of BC not JUST ontario who perfers him  .

So a liar lies and we're left asking the usual question, "is he really that stupid or does he think we are and won't look that  up."

You're referring to my observation that the rest of the world is laughing at us for bringing a clown-boy like Trudeau back to lead us but I say, 'no world it's more just Ontario and possibly Quebec.'

Now you want to say I'm lying by saying BC didn't choose Trudeau. Seriously...did you not think I could look that up?

Check the interactive map at the Vancouver Sun. Where are all these Trudeau votes in BC?

I see, so you believe you weren't outright lying you were just being intentionally deceptive. Just a teeny tiny section of BC is brain-diseased enough to want Trudeau.

Come to think of it, have another look at that map. If you exclude the north it's a pretty tiny section of Canada that wanted clown-shoes to lead them. We could kick them out and be proud again easy peasy. We'll keep the North and give them access to more honest media.

The Liberals believe that they have the East Coast locked up, as long as they throw money at it, since it’s seat heavy for the population.  They’re right.  The seasonal workfare programs have been a vote getter for decades.
