Where is this “climate change” money coming from?

Oil companies are the wealthiest corporations on the planet.

5 of them in the top 20.  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_companies_by_revenue

So, by your logic, wouldn’t that mean the science should be pro-oil, if it is only about money?

Do you think there was a gravity lobby too?  And once the alternative gravity theory people can get some coin together, we’ll all be told a different theory?

Do you think that the leftists who are courting your enviro-vote aren't flying around in private jets?

Prince Andrew chastises us for our evil ways then he flies a private jet across the country just to play a game of polo.

Leo DiCaprio flies a private jet to northern Alberta to lecture people about their little peon carbon footprints.

John Kerry - frequent flyer of private jets.

Trudeau flies his own sycophant media all across Canada to cover his election campaign - they get their own jumbo jet. "I buy carbon offsets!" lol. He also flies private jets all over the place. His family has also pumped Saudi gas at their gas stations for decades, but he calls Alberta oil dirty: how's that a thing? What gives TB?

All of those guys call "flying first class" the chump seats. They also hate to see you drive a car.

They're not alone. There were over 110 private jest at the Pallermo Climate Conference and there were only 300 attendees. There were about 1,400 private jets at a climate change conference in Davos. (The Babylon Bee brilliance - https://babylonbee.com/news/inspiring-celebrities-spell-out-were-all-in-this-together-with-their-yachts )

David "4-House" Suzuki and Bernie "3-House" Sanders are also on the list of champagne socialist/climate change hypocrites. Who do you know that's a "climate change leader" that's not also a "climate change leader"? Those names look eerily similar....

What's your theory TB? I just gotta hear it.

So Suzuki and Sanders are funding the science behind climate change?  And some celebrities?

Do you think they have a lot of money compared to oil companies?

I think we need to get past blaming regions. After all urban BC voted Liberal and NDP.  It's really a divide between urban areas and the rest of the country.

I am well aware that BC is plugged full of socialist liberals and NDP communists. It's starting to appear as though the whole gawd dam country is going communist. ?

TBH they're not really attacking Saudi oil, are they? They just target Alberta oil (oil sands), and US oil (fracking). Leftists get freaky on Alberta oil.

Just say pipeline and they shriek about oil in our pristine tidewaters. "ONLY SAUDI OIL CAN GO THERE!"

Where does the money come from to attack North American oil? You tell me TB.

The problem is that here in Canada we have way too many stupid and brain dead zombie Canadians out there who keep listening to those elite globalist buffoons like Decrapio and Prince(Epstein)Andrews. We saw in this election that those same dummy zombies went and put Castro Trudeau back in power. Castro hates their bloody guts but yet they still gave the commie his old job back. Canada is truly becoming an hopeless and forever lost and doomed country. ?

Do you think? Comrades Suzuki and Saunders are just but two of the wealthy globalist elite imbeciles out there that want to turn Canada and the rest of the world into one big globalist communist new world order world. Those two buffoons could care less about the environment.

If they did care about the environment at all they would stop flying around the world in their private fuel guzzling bad for the environment private jets. They want we the sheeple to get rid of our vehicles so that they can have their four or five gas guzzling vehicles sitting in their garages in one of their many $10 million dollar huge mansions and estates that they own. These imbeciles are doing just as much harm to the environment themselves.

But ask them if they really give a shit? NOPE. This is why I do not give a shit about the environment either. If the globalist elite do not really give a shit about the environment, why should I? ?

So who is funding the science then?   And how rich do the oil companies need to get before they can pay for non-climate change science?

Do you think flat earthers can get enough money together to have the theory of a flat earth be the scientific consensus?  Or does that only work for climate change science?

They may not be as rich as some oil companies but I do know for sure that communists like Suzuki and Saunders are both very wealthy indeed. It always seemed quite strange to me as to why so many political leaders who always like to push for socialism and communism are always very rich. One would think that they would be poor as hell but they are not. It's only the poor sheeple who are the ones that are poor and support socialism and communism where at times those poor sheeple do not even have two nickels to rub together.

Sadly, those stupid and stunned sheeple only end up hurting and making themselves poorer by supporting those elite socialists and communists like Suzuki and Saunders. It's hard to fix stupid once it gets entrenched in so many sheeples stupid heads. ?

How about if you stop using the flat earth BS in every post and I stop reminding you that "scientific consensus" is a commodity that's owned by global elites?

Climate change science doesn't apply to coal mines in India and China and it doesn't apply to Saudi oil, it applies to coal mines in Alberta & the US and it applies to Alberta oil and US oil.

Did you know that you can still mine coal in Alberta? It's some of the cleanest coal in the world. You just can't extract the energy in Alberta because it would make too many emissions there. You have to ship it all the way to China and burn it there.

That's called "scientific consensus" TreeBeard.

So can you or can’t you buy the scientific consensus?  If you can, how did Suzuki outbid Shell Oil?

I already explained this to you above.

Suzuki et al are only attacking Alberta and US oil.

There's no one in Quebec protesting against Saudi tankers in our tidewaters. Leo DiCaprio doesn't fly to Saudi Arabia to protest against oil over there.

Biden and Kerry are against fracking, they're not telling Iran to produce less oil.

When's the last time that you ever saw a leftard protest against oil from/in the ME?

Exactly.  They won’t protest Saudi Arabia and they won’t protest China.  They choose the easy and less relevant targets.

Jeff Bezos announces $1 billion Earth Fund grant for 'climate conservation purposes' (republicworld.com)

This is at least one source for the climate change agenda. I think they have a huge advantage in this already one sided debate in that they have the power and means to indoctrinate on the first day of schooling.

I do believe the climate is changing just as it always has over time. I also believe this global climate change movement is actually more about wealth redistribution and ending capitalism as we know it. It's very disturbing that the leftists as usual are vigorously opposed to debating this subject. They claim the science is on their side but how idiotic is it that emissions from "people of colour" countries are not an issue compared to western democratic countries?

There should be nothing to fear from honest and open debate.

Maybe the oil companies could all get together and outbid this one guy to buy their scientific consensus back?

If I can help it, I do not watch any Canadians leftist lieberal news channels anymore. They all spread misinformation and disinformation and lie. CPAC is like all of the rest of those other leftist lieberal news media channels like the ones that you mentioned above. They are all full of bias and lying leftist lieberals who hate Canada. They must never be trusted with reporting news ever again. Just saying. ?

There should be a conservative new channel in Canada, but I think the Canadian Radio Television Commission (CRTC) would not allow it because they control news outlets under the liberal government.  Canada is not really a free country but is limited in many ways, proving again it is ruled to some degree by Marxists.  These liberal Marxists are working on extending their control of the internet and social media with bill C10 and C36 although these bills may be given new names by the new Parliament now elected.  New Parliament but same old Marxist players.  We are losing our freedom of speech.  The People's Party is a kind of protest party.  I agree with some things they advocate but I think they hurt their chances by fighting against the pandemic measures.  The Conservative Party has shifted to the left considerably and become kind of liberal lite.  So they can't really be trusted too much.   We need a conservative television station that is not controlled by any political party and not controlled by the Conservative Party of Canada which cannot really be trusted.  They are trying to be everything to everyone.  They even admit that.  That is not the kind of television station we need.  We need a voice for those of us who oppose liberalism and Marxism.

Obviously they have a much bigger pool of funds to draw from. How about most western democracies and unlimited government resources?

A real pity that the left only wants an echo chamber and fights to silence any dissenting opinions.

I'm not backtracking at all.

There are American interests aligned against Alberta oil, and Saudi interests aligned against North American oil.

Those guys definitely have enough money to buy science.

The tobacco industry also had enough money to buy science for a long time. Big Pharma's vaccines have actually never worked if you really think about it. As soon as a bunch of people were vaccinated, and they kept getting sick, the Delta variant was blamed. Then when vaccinated people started dying, it was "just the elderly with co-morbidities" that were dying. That sounds strangely like the people who were dying of covid to begin with. I'd really love to know if 85 yr olds with co-morbidities are even allowed to take the vaccines or if they're warned against it.

But, in your example, actual real science came to the conclusion about smoking despite the money.

So, isn’t that the opposite of what you’re claiming?  Money didn’t buy the scientific consensus.

If it could, oil companies would own the consensus, no?  Didn’t Canada buy a pipeline to ship oil?  Clearly, Canada isn’t against the use of oil.  And yet you claim Canada is funding science that is pro-climate change….

I think the stronger possibility, rather than conspiracies about big oil being kept down by The Man, is that the evidence is with the scientific consensus.

To say otherwise leads down all sorts of crazy conspiracies that you yourself has show is completely incoherent and nonsensical.

hmmm….  Do you see how someone might think that’s a crazy conspiracy theory?
