Why are the Liberal supporters packing up there tents and leaving Justin and his merry band of thugs and lairs? Is it policies or promises made by other leaders ? and if so which ones...

I sensed a big change in the weather when Trudeau's teddy bear photo op flopped. Normally that would have been a glorious moment for him but it landed like a turkey from a helicopter.

I know a lot of Canadians who never saw it, so it didn't get a ton of coverage, but he was universally seen to be using dead children as an election prop, even among Liberal sycophants.

In that moment, even if O'Toole was just standing still he took a big leap forward. He's not seen as divisive or as a big user of people, just a guy with a tough job to do.

Has anyone else noticed that the liberal voters on this forum are pretty quite lately... Maybe it is just me..

IMO the bloom is off the rose, and that's all there ever was in this instance. The quote that sums him up best is still Leo Knight's : "Trudeau is the Kim Kardashian of political leaders, an all-style, no substance bimbo with all the depth of a puddle."

And the green party, you know when your in collapse when the PPC has almost double your figures in support...could this be their demise ?

In 2019 their crusade from the last 20 years (climate change) was reported as the biggest election issue, and yet the Greens were still unable to gain any ground on anyone.

IMO their embarrassing loser of a leader just caps their party's potential as 'a sideshow' at best. No one takes them seriously.

Bernier strikes a chord with conservatives who are furious with Trudeau's inept and vacuous leadership. There are atheists & religious devotees who would vote for Satan right now if they thought that he could beat Trudeau and they're not happy with "Trudeau-lite".

Right, like the CBC show Power and Politics that just had an expert giving the conservative climate plan a big thumbs up.

If the CBC were is biased as you say, they would not have missed an opportunity to torpedo said plan has it legitimizes the party in the eyes of centrists.

IMO the only reason why the CBC is giving the conservatives their due in this election is because of the Maverick Party.

If the polls were showing Trudeau cruising to another victory then the Maverick Party would be a force to be reckoned with out west, because just getting a bunch more conservatives elected out here would be a moot point.

That's not to say that the Mavs would win massively, but there's a very real chance that they'd be able to grab enough seats to have more status than the Greens and maybe even the NDP.

Just imagine a country where 2 of the 4 largest federal parties are separatists - that would be Trudeau's legacy.

The numbers seem to be settling in pretty close to what they were last election.  How is that "liberals leaving Justin's side in droves"?

Before the election call the liberals had a 10- 12  plus point lead over the conservatives, and now that lead has turned into a small negative. what would you call it, the loss of 10 to 15 points....
