Justin Trudeau and his Socialist agenda for Canada is borderline _ Communist - Beware the history of the Salesmen and Lying Politicians - lockdowns, freedoms, right to choose , everyone regardless of contribution awarded same pay & benefits, the Lies that Vaccine medicine one day is good for us but not the next ? expiry dates don t matter when it is in the governments best interest ?  mixing vaccines ? now many ( nearly 10 % of canadians ) with AstraZeneca cannot legally travel to American cities ?  Now the debt spending Czar thinks he can call an election because he feed the masses ( who were unemployed or didn t want to work )  with a base salary, Ask a small restaurant owner or retail outlet how hard it is to get help now, They can t because the people make more on CERB , He has created a under ground economy, where these CERB recipients want to work for Cash only. Totally wrong, the Passage of Bill C 10 ( control of Media and freedom of Speech ) , Taxes in a socialist Country 50 + % , in a Communist Country 60 + % - How Close will Canada be after next Election to this reality ??  Open boarders for far too long  let the Virus get a strong hold in Canada , the back door deals this PM has being caught doing several times , His treatment of Women is Sexist, proven by removing any who disagree with policy ? His Brown Face moments - Show he is truly WHITE Privilege , He Shows up for Phot Ops for any visible minority - But is not sincere from his actions and pass history , Don t be Fooled Vote this Drama failure to the Curb in September, Canada s Social , Climate and Economic Future Depends on Us not being fooled by this Salesmen

1. No.  Thinking there are Communists coming is stupid.  I like a lot of stupid things.  This is not one of them.    Example: I point out the obvious (Trudeau is not Communist) and top of page 3 I gave a bunch of good reasons.  My discussion partner basically stepped over them to just repeat what he said.  Then you show up to say "hmmmm.... maybe these things are making you uncomfortable ?"

You are smarter than that.

2. I don't know.  Maybe you'll go "oh wow, you are right.  We should really stop cluttering the board with repeating dumb slogans and not responding to points, my bad"

3. Likely a tiny bit sure.

4. I'm reading stuff from actual Marxists, teaching and forming reading groups like it's the 1960s.  And it's not the woke dummies that people quote from FOX etc.  No actual Marxist would have even a bit of respect for Trudeau IMO

5. The thin edge of the wedge would be giant social programs, MMT and big tax increases on the wealthy.  Next would come nationalization, IP theft... who knows.  The ideas are already out there, they don't need catapults they just need a spark, the right leader, and the aging demographic to cling to their moribund politics I would guess.

Maybe you are misconstruing what I say. Clearly PM Trudeau is not marching around quoting sections of the Communist Manifesto. That does not rule out the possibility that communists in China and Russia seek to subvert our society, and they so it in a variety of creative ways. They do seem to work. What you are seeing here on MLW is the backlash from Canadians who perceive this shift to be taking place.

Communism still exists today and stands as antithesis to our western system of rule. Especially the government overreach. They are our ideological enemies. But todays neomarxism if I may use that term does it by more subtle covert psychological means.

Personally I believe that China and Russia are nations that pose an ideological threat to Canadians, one that is ongoing. I also believe in a cabal of billionaires whom are strong believers in totalitarian control and management of the unwashed masses. They have more influence on us than foreign governments.

Agreed but then, people come here to post for different reasons. For example,

Some might come here

just to vent

Some to criticize

the guberment

Some to tell us

news of the day

Some to announce

that they are gay

Vent about the government

News of the day, they are gay.

1.  No, it's thank you.
2. And I come here to point out that they, like all of us, are here to be humble, to listen and learn
3. Nothing wrong with being gay.  Announcing it on MLW, on the other hand, is a cracked communication plan.

I agree we must raise the bar higher, make no judgements, call out every liar, call out those who are merely inciting, and most of all, not allow bad writing. No bad writing

Thus I raise this challenge to you, from now on only write in poetry or haiku

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is campaigning on a wealth tax of 1% on everyone who has over ten million dollars.  The first thing and most important is the age old commandment from God as clearly stated in his revelation, the King James Bible, is "thou shalt not steal".  That is quite clear and simple to understand.  It has no if's, and's or but's.  It doesn't matter if an individual does it or the government does it.  It is still stealing.  He comes from non-Judeo Christian society and so seems quite comfortable with Marxist/Socialist ideology.  He was obviously chosen by the masses of NDPers who think the same way as he does.

Secondly, and this is important to consider.  The article states this will be a tax on the "wealth" of everyone who has over ten million.  Notice the subtle difference between normal taxation of income and the proposal here to confiscate 1% of a millionaire's wealth.  This is not taxation he is proposing.  This is outright confiscation or stealing from wealth that an individual has already paid income taxes on.  Could this even be legal?  Can government in Canada simply pass a law to confiscate a person's money from his bank account or investments?  If so, where will this end?  Could this ideology of confiscating money from Canadians be extended in the future without any limits but just the whims of left wing politicians?  This sounds like dangerous territory.  Much akin to Chinese or Soviet style Communism.  Nobody's money, inheritance or property will be safe.

Thirdly, The money that rich people have is not sitting in a box under the bed.  It is invested in things like corporations or the stock market and creating thousands of jobs, some good-paying jobs.  So if government grabs some of that money, they are actually reducing the amount of money which is invested to create jobs for other people.  Private investors know much more than government bureaucrats or politicians how to invest money to produce something.  But in the NDP Marxist Socialist mind profit is a dirty word and government knows better.

Just heard during this election that the Trudeau government signed a 100 million dollar deal with a Chinese company and the two Michaels are still being held.  Again this proves the Liberals' love for the basic China dictatorship.  They must be defeated in this election before they drag Canada further down the sewer.

Canada, as usual, admits floods of people from the wrong places. This will be our demise. It’s happening before our eyes and we pretend it’ll settle down and we’ll be a delightful “multicultural” mosaic. It won’t be.

On local public transit there is virtually no English spoken. Canada will get what it deserves.

Second, the three richest men in the USA own more than 50% of the country's wealth. That's according to Forbes.  Nobody deserves that percentage of a nation's wealth, it is utterly and completely ridiculous.

And it shouldn't come as a surprise.  The poltiicians changed the laws to make bribery legal.  Then the rich bribed the politicians to improve their ability to make a profit.  So the rich had even more money to bribe the politicians with, which mean more laws and statutes and tax exemptions were changed in their favour.  So the rich had even more money to bribe.....you get the picture.

There clearly needs to be some manner of limitting  personal wealth, I would hate to think what Canada would look like if three Canadians owned more than 1/2 the county's wealth.   It certainly wouldn't be as good a place as it is now.

Maybe we need to let in more immigrants and refugees so the country get's a backbone again?  I can remember a time when Canadians weren't afraid of the boogieman.

Pick and choose who will best fit in and be able to contribute in the future. Why let people in that will be a burden on our health, social programs, and the taxpayer?

Are you a communist?  Sad

I think Lenin brought in something a little more sweeping than a tax on the very wealthy. No major political party in Canada proposes an end to the market economy.

Actually the NDP and liberals to some extent are doing their best to destroy the market economy.  The don't say they will end it, but they bring in so many Socialist policies, red tape, and government control that they effectively strangle the free market economy.

If you think Communism is egalitarianism, you haven't read any history about Communist China or the U.S.S.R.  It is anything but reasonable, fair, compassionate, or egalitarian.  It has proven brutal, murderous, and dictatorial.  History proves it when about 100 million people were murdered by the Communists imposing their system.

The Bible is not a magical storybook.  You shouldn't be commenting on something you know nothing about.   You can learn what it is about if you make a little effort.

The principle taught in the Bible, thou shalt not steal, is an age old belief that all nations have understood and accepted for thousands of years.  It is simple common sense.  Nothing to debate about it.

There is nothing wrong with having rich people because they are the ones who invest their wealth in corporations which provide jobs and prosperity for millions of people.  They don't hide or sit on their wealth.  Their wealth has to be put to work investing in the stock market and corporations in order to protect what they have from inflation.  That is how wealth is spread around and millions benefit from their investment.  They know far more than any government bureaucrats  on how to create prosperity and wealth.  Nothing wrong with having rich people.  Countries which don't have them or their investment have nothing and are in poverty.

"Socialism is a component of Marxism, which is “an atheistic and materialistic worldview based on the ideas of Karl Marx that promotes the abolition of private property, public ownership of the means of production (i.e., socialism), and the utopian dream of a future communistic state.”2   Socialism, Communism, or Marxism have been tried and failed because they go against human nature.  You cannot motivate someone to work or innovate if everything he earns is going to be confiscated and divided with everyone else who doesn't really work.  That is why these ideologies fail.  They go against human nature.  They always look good in theory but never work in practice.

How Canadian tourism sustains Cuba's army and one-party state (msn.com)

I suspect many of these people are embedded within the Liberal and NDP parties and their supporters.

quote Cuban-Canadian activists say many Canadians are not aware of the extent to which the survival of Cuba's one-party regime depends upon the foreign currency tourists bring into the country, or the lengths the Cuban government will go to keep Canadians coming.  Unquote

What is equally surprising on the MSN comment section under this article is the number of commenters who support the Cuban regime and oppose America.  Makes one wonder where these commenters came from and where their loyalties lay.

Those buffoons who go to Cuba for a holiday have been helping to prop up a communist regime that enslaves and jails it's people for daring to want to be free. The Cuban jails are full of political prisoners.

Probably, many of them that go to Cuba are an active bunch of socialists and communists supporters who would just love to see Canada go communist. Why would anyone in their right minds who were born in a free country like Canada want to live in a communist country that has no freedom?

Go figure, eh? 🙃

For decades American companies have been leaving America, under republican and democratic administrations.  The U.S. and Canada are western democracies so there is no question which side we are on unless one is confused.

It has been the pro communist China democratic party that has been kissing China's arse for decades now. Trump pretty much told communist China to go kiss his big white fat ass. All the past presidents did the same thing and played golf, attended rallies and spent hours trying to look good all the time in their tweets. What planet did you just arrive from?

Ur-anus by chance? 😁

Trump did more for America than any other president before him, except for Ronald Reagan, whom also tried to make America great again. Like that or not, fella. LOL.

Who is going to live there? And communism doesn’t inspire visits. In my province, it’s one of the very few sunny winter locations accessible by a single flight.
