Biden admin to move $860M in COVID funds to house illegal immigrant children

I was going to put this in the Biden thread but they're talking about soccer over there:

The Biden administration will reallocate $860 million of funds designated for COVID relief to address pandemic-related costs for illegal immigrant children, according to reports.

In a letter to leadership of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees dated Tuesday and reviewed by Bloomberg News, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra informed the lawmakers that his department needed the funds to ensure the safety of unaccompanied migrant children arriving at the border.

They also need to cover costs associated with staffing at shelters for these children, Becerra wrote.

Speaking to the outlet, a Biden administration official said HHS’ costs for housing unaccompanied migrant children had gone up by $1.7 billion as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, due to precautions the government needed to take.

Apparently the children are even worse off now than under Trump. For one there are so many of them now, and with covid they are also more neglected.

The worldwide, syndicated press whores don’t seem to mind this as they say almost nothing. and so deluded masses of liberal all sleep well.

The sheer numbers of this new surge are the problem.

The corporate left tried to tell us the children were the problem under Trump even though the problem was nothing but a spillover from Obama. And Trump was getting it under control. He was sending the gangs like MS 13 that were using the kids for nefarious purposes back where they came from. He was pushing cartel and coyote activity involving kids back to Mexico, so there was no longer sense to sending them.

Those pressures slowing the illegals surge are gone now so the problem floods through.

And those of us who said all those Covid pork bills would mostly not be used for Covid relief were proven correct. It went to restock Democrat cities with funding after they misused their own and now it's going to cover up the Biden regime's mistakes at the border.

The Dems calling these funds "pandemic relief" at the border is BS. It's going for new holding facilities then planes and buses to ship kids and adults across and around America then other facilities, often Hotels when they get there along with management funds. If that isn't what the covid bills are funding now where's the money for all that coming from?
