the dems put together a powerful video... TWO tweets! ONE video! are all in there!

Impeachment managers show dramatic footage of Capitol attack

It starts off with some idiot talking about the fact that Trump didn't mention the fact that the national guard was sent out.

Waaah!

Who's stupid enough to watch more than 12 seconds of that worthless tripe?

oh, so you're following made up people to go along with the made up actions now?! ahahahhaha!

No, FYI Kamala Harris was a fervent supporter of the rioting and she actually did contribute to a bail fund for them. Maybe she didn't say the exact quote that put there, but she did far worse. She financially supported the rioters, looters and arsonists.

Trump authorized troops at 3:36pm. he did not reach out to anybody! the request went up the chain of command. Trump was gleefully watching on tv. he waited.

This is why the National Guard didn’t respond to the attack on the Capitol

and you just wait... the intelligence community was aware of the violence that was planned that day and that was in the presidential brief. it'll come out. he knew what was going to happen that day.

Trump makes Nixon look like a douhboy.

It seems as though you're still completely ignorant of almost everything, you don't really need to watch any more tv or read any more articles.

It was 3:36 p.m. when White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted that President Donald Trump had directed the activation of more troops. Technically, Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman told reporters on Thursday, the president had given Miller the green light to call up National Guard days earlier.

How is this incriminating, exactly?

Do you remember when Antifa and BLM were attacking/rioting outside of a federal building for 100 days, including an attack where they cemented a door shut and tried to light the building on fire, and the mayor and governor refused to call the National Guard? Why the advanced timeline in this instance? Why is it measured in minutes instead of months?

There were all kinds of riots in all kinds of cities where mayors and governors knew that businesses were going to be looted or burned, people and police would be assaulted and likely killed, and they refused to call the National Guard for months on end.

AOC [paraphrasing]: "I was so afraid. I was terrified. I almost got killed".

Uhhhh, yeah bitch. Americans felt that way for years and you did nothing. A lot of them actually did get killed or lost their home or their business. Why is it that you deserve protection while you're intentionally not protecting citizens, and you're busy talking about defunding their police?

The people who wanted so badly to defund police for everyone else are busy asking "WHY WEREN'T THERE MORE POLICE HERE TO PROTECT US????!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

The correct answer is "Suck it down losers, this is the exact scenario that YOU FORCED other Americans to deal with for years."

1) The attack should never have happened, but 2) the scope of it is blown way out of proportion, and 3) I have no sympathy at all for the people who incited violence on their political opponents/police/their citizens for years, but are now acting like it was completely unacceptable when the violence came to their doorstep.

AOC is this guy:

As any might research the fall of the roman republic and the comings and goings of the US republic, there is a truth that screams from the politics of both. This truth, for those who are free to see it, is the unyielding internal focus from within, that over time has lost any distinction of reality.

The rhetoric of being the greatest nation that is the envy of the world, obscures reality and truth, for when this is believed one does not look beyond it... the interest to improve becomes obscured as well.

In both republics, the evidence is pointing that over time career politicians, as in the Senate, can become the most corrupt bodies in the nation. One can only shake their head in disbelief to imagine a democratic president must go after two terms, while a senator can stay for as long as they wish. It is therefore hence, not hard to imagine, with power and financial means, any senator can influence the votes needed to be reinstated term after term.

This one suspects that for any 30 year veteran in the senate, they are either the best politician in the state bar none, or the crookedest.

Thoughts!

PS: The inherent, come one come all policies of immigration in both the U.S. and Canada is most honourable. All that is needed is a means to locate a proportionate amount of migrants to each state or province.  This of course, would promote assimilation, whereby a cultural assimilation be put in place whereby each migrant must adhere to practices and beliefs consistent within the state.

They could hold festivals and celebration of their heritage but they must be American or Canadian first. Of course if any are opposed to assimilation they would be free to go elsewhere. Keep in mind by any third generation, the youth will assimilate on their own anyway. So society needs to just... set it up understanding as much.

love how Meghan McCain says Niki Hailey was disgusting when she said about Trump, "give the guy a break"!

ideo of Capitol riot shown at Trump impeachment trial 'literally took my breath away': Meghan McCain

and that she's afraid of a MTG presidency.

Well, first of all Meghan McCain is ridiculous. Real Republicans are so tired of her neo-lib, RINO nonsense they write her off as a joke.

Second, I can't believe anybody is taking that video seriously. It's an embarrassment to whoever put it together and the Dem's incompetent legal team that thought they could sell it. It's the definition of deceptive editing.

The most glaring evidence of that is they cut Trump's speech calling for the rally attendees to march to the capitol where he called on them to do so peacefully.

It also forgets to tell you that the main force of provocateurs were already at the Capitol building an hour or 2 before Trump's speech ended. The pipe bombs they like to mention were planted there the night before.

Trump incited nothing.;

It's also worth noting that organizations instigating the riot end of the protest were people like what's called the Boogaloo Bois or Boogaloo Boys. They aren't necessarily Pro-Trump. Nor are white nationalists for that matter. Antifa and BLM types were also there. They have no affection for the President either. Here's what a leader of the Boogaloo Bois was saying on Social Media at the time:

Big Boy Conservatives are often castigated as RINOs. Many have left the party and oppose Trumpism. See the Lincoln Project.

My advise to those "Big Boys" is don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. ("Big Boys" is that like "the Big Guy?)

BTW, did you hear the Co-creator of the Neo-Lib organization "Lincoln Project," was just charged as a Pedo?

And I thought you guys were rejecting them now that you no longer need them. They can still be supported when convenient, I guess. Is that it?

For sure the US is imploding right now, urged on by the Dems and MSM.

It's true enough, there's nothing wrong with believing it. It's just a matter of recognizing what makes the country great and preserving it.

Omar and AOC aren't 30-yr vets and they're the worst politicians in DC, so I don't really agree with you on that point.

Also, the POTUS is a 1-man show with the power of the executive order: the power of a senator (1 of 100) or a congressman (1 of about 300) is nothing by comparison.

In theory it's great, but we don't live in an area where unlimited people can just march on in and find shelter. Homelessness = death here.

Do you see how there has to be a limit on the number of people who can waltz on in?

Do you see how the poorest people here are sorely affected by mass immigration? A flood of refugees doesn't compete with Trudeau or Morneau for housing for at least a generation or more. They compete with low-income Canadians (ie the Liberal base, luckily for the turd his voters are dumb enough not to notice what they're doing to themselves when they vote).

Assimilation now? You have an odd mix of ultra-liberal (illogical) & ultra-conservative (un-Canadian) immigration policies floating around in your head.

The liberal government is working at cloistering some groups to help them maintain their completely separate societies.

Good luck getting elected on a National stage with just the support of the Qanon type.

Why should Progressives care about ANTIFA?

They’re your political affiliation.  But you don’t care because you’re a hypocrite troll.  That’s why nobody takes you seriously and laughs in your face at everything you say.  Now scurry off and hold that O’Toole accountable!  Now scurry off and make excuses for the vaccine debacle! ??

But that's what she did.  Some of the people she successfully released out of jail went on to murder and rape.  Congrats.

Thanks for the look!

Not much to add... only this one felt as you did with the above quote re: assimilation. Yet, a good time to dig further here. To travel to any "other" culture... as this one has, one is eager to learn and become apart of what is known within the culture... and what is presented as tradition etc. and to respect it.

For instance , to be invited into the parameters of another culture... one needs only to let it happen, to develop understanding, and the potential for unity, peace and insight. I have listened to trips that seem to have failed for a tourist and it is to the contrary. They did not want to partake in the offerings by the locals and allow a measure of acceptance and belonging. Simply, they should not have gone!

So...  as a migrant comes to a country they simply should be willing to do as the locals do... in good standing. Truthfully, anything else is a form of colonialism. Your response, is in tune that such matters have seldom been truly discussed. Maybe a time to start a new thread regarding...
