Liberals throne speech, pretty lackluster for all the hype.

Justin prorogued Parliament to change the channel on the WE Scandal, and said to Canadians they had to prepare the mother of all throne speeches... and during that time the Liberals continued the hype about a massive green plan that would put people back to work and bring back on economy.  Even senior Liberal officials came out and said a massive plan would be to much right now...

I won't lie there are some good things in the speech, most of them had to be in there, as there was not much of a chioce. The rest of the speech I'm not sure of the investing in new green tech should have been done years ago, when they declared a climate emergency, Liberals' tout it will create a million jobs, They tout a lot of things like planting a billion trees which they have not even started, but we are lead to believe this promise is different.  What it did lack was How are we going to create jobs, how are we going to start creating more small business the largest employers in the country, and yet some how our economy has to take the stage with racism, and climate change like some how these are going to bring back the economy ..

I would have thought this would be the topic of the day, instead there is radio silence from everyone, could not have been as moving as Justin wanted it to be....

I more or less agree with you.  Some good things, yes, but a lot of it seems to be recycled stuff he already hasn't done.  Way less than what I was hoping for, though I think the promises around the environment, indigenous people, systemic racism and immigration will have a certain segment of the population ready to rumble.  Anything to make conservatives cry, I guess. (j/k)

I think Justin is taking a big chance here, if it does get rejected by the NDP the linch pin in this whole deal, it was not much of a campaign speech like we all expected... Justin sonly play here is to please the NDP or atleast give into a few of their demands... my question is all the other stuff a distraction, nothing to do with putting our economy back on track or looking to create jobs etc... Is this what Liberal voters are looking for ? 

And it does not take much to make a conservative cry.  Like watching Montreal win another cup, or Justin winning a third term.

All justin has to do is throw singh crumbs to keep him in line. The NDP have no money to go to a election. I see a coup in the near future for the NDP.

Of course the NDP sold out, this was their only moment of actual relevance since Singh has been their leader.

All Trudeau had to tell Singh was "There will be many more moments like this where you get to puff up your chest and be the man" and Singh was putty in his hands.

It was a win-win for both parties - Trudeau got to give away billions of dollars and stay in his position of Grand Poohbah of Covid, Singh got to act like the socialist king - just giving money away for nothing. 

In the end the Bloc & PCs got stronger because they stood up to Trudeau, and the NDP got stronger because they proved that they want to give money away faster than the Liberals, and Trudeau is just like a junkie now, mooching the very last penny off of everyone that still hasn't learned that they're being used.

Why is this Teflon Don comrade Trudeau still around anyway. This buffoon and liar should have been gone long ago. What the ph-k is wrong with the sheeple of Canada today? The buffoon is shafting every taxpayer in Canada every day, even liberals, but some still stand behind and some saying that they will be voting for this fool in the next election. It's getting to the point that I am going to start to say screw the other guy and gal because that is what they are saying and doing to me.

Does anybody really give a chit about this country anymore? It's quite obvious to me that no one does really give a chit. If they did this buffoon of a leader would have been gone long ago. Those fools won't fight corruption in government and theft of their tax dollars but they are quite willing to hide their faces with a diaper mask, and some even demanding that we should all wear face diaper masks. There can be no doubt about it that this country has more dummies running around than smart intelligent thinking people around. This buffoon makes us all look like a bunch of zombie losers, and we all deserve that description.

For one thing people need to stop wearing masks when they do not have too while driving. Driving around in a car with a mask on looks so bloody stupid, and those stupid people live among us. This new normal life is the chits, and there are so many fools that are quite happy to live with this chitty life we live today.

I only wear a mask when I am forced to wear one. But as soon as I walk out of some store or wherever I take the diaper off right away. If you are forgetting to take your mask off while driving then you maybe must be wearing a mask all day long, uhmm? I have been working in business with people since day one. I live in a very conservative riding and 99.9% of the people dont have a problem with this, that is why we have no cases where I live. And if trump wore one....

Those who wear a mask are pretty much saying to their dear comrade political leaders that whatever you say I will do as commanded and obey. There is absolutely no reason for wearing a mask outside at all. Those people who do so are nothing more than a bunch of zombie trained seal followers. They are people that can be easily convinced that the sky is falling down. They never question or challenge mask wearing. They just obey. Such pathetic and cowardly people. 

The lieberals will only tell you what you want to hear. After elected they will give you the finger. Liberals have no luster at all. they are dull and boring looking as always.
