Yes...even tomorrow.   I don't flit to other nations when it becomes "uncomfortable".

A lumpy couch is uncomfortable.  Death is a lot more final.

But, like you said, that's just you.

Death is not the greatest shame.

No, it's nothing to be ashamed of at all.

There are reasons to die when one doesn't have to though, and Trump and his band of cowards do not rank highly among them.

I know, it's not about Trump, right?  Well, excuse me if I say bollocks to that.

I wish the Union Army had invaded British North America at the conclusion of the Civil War.

Thus Canada's creation. It was a lot harder to hit that friendly fellow to the north after he just broke-up with the Motherland...right? Please be right...close eyes...wait.....still here?? Whew...

Poor redskins, though.

Trump is living rent free in your mind, but the underlying conditions and causes precede him by many decades.

The ammo doesn't care either way.

It's an old cliche, and doesn't apply, except that he is the basis of our argument.

I'll grant you that he is a symptom, not a cause, but so are boils.

He has been around for ages as we both know....unchanged by time in many respects. A bastard then...still a bastard today. I always found it all hi-larry-ous....

....and remember...it was a REPUBLICAN that put an end to it all.

To refresh...it wasn't until 1863 that the US Civil War became about ending slavery. Until then, you could say it was for a variety of reasons...cotton...state's rights...western expansion...etc...etc. Lincoln did the brilliant thing....and Britain had to sit on its hands for the rest of the conflict.

Ironic that half a century ago, Republicans and Democrats traded places when it came to equality civil rights and liberties. Lincoln is rolling in his grave.

I always find this kind of bravado entertaining.  :)

You're extremely misinformed about American demographics & modern 21st century warfare.

The areas that voted for Biden make up the majority of American GDP, and I assure you that its denizens have sufficient economy, technological resources, academic knowledge and armament to resist in the unlikely scenario that a hoard of rural Bubba's with commercial AR15s declare open season on American progressivism.

But if it would make you feel better to move here and buy your own AR15, we can arrange to swap papers.  I'll even let you have one of my ARs -- but just one. ;)

It is very entertaining...that's why so many Canadians watch the show.  Much more boring in Canada, where few would actually fight over Charter Rights or liberty....Clarity Act is much easier.   See "Quebec".

I'm sure Canada is a fine place to live, and many do.   But far more people live in the "states"....#1 choice for immigrants too.

Don't need your ARs....for obvious reasons.

1. Every single first World country is watching America implode. Canada just happens to be somewhat more concerned, considering we share the World's longest undefended border with the USA.  It should be noted that People of Color have more rights in Canada than in America. As for the remainder of the population, Canada would fight for their rights and freedoms just like every other country.

Google "Bill C-30." It should be noted that Americans gave up a significant amount of their rights and freedoms under the Patriot Act. I don't recall thousands of civilians march in the streets protesting the Government curtailing a circumvention of their freedoms.

2. Far more people live in  the US since most of Canada is uninhabitable. It has nothing to do with America being a more popular choice for immigrants.

It should be noted that over 14,000,000 people live in Southern Ontario, which is inhabitable. If the area was ranked as a state in terms of population, it would be #4, and about the same size as Michigan.

3. Obtaining ARs would be easy, if we ever needed them. America has this strange fixation on guns. What has having no gun control ever achieved in a positive way for the USA? Unless you consider school shootings and mass killings by deranged nutcases "freedom."

What about the rest of the world ?   Do you think Canada has special status as a "first World country" ?     Canada is concerned because it is so economically dependent on the United States (American capital), and access to the much larger U.S. market.

I doubt that....especially Canada's "aboriginals" (racist colonial term).

Thanks for adding another item to the reasons for not moving to Canada.   More landed immigrants live in the USA (20%) than any other country in the world, regardless of climate (more than the entire population of Canada).

We do...it all began years ago when we used our guns to kick your monarchy in the ass.  The loyalists fled to...Canada...but they still love to watch America.   Sigh.....

The Second Amendment  was ratified on December 15, 1791. There has been one war between the USA and what is now known as Canada.  This happened in 1812. Our forces won the majority of battles, and burned down the White House. But go on about your fictitious claim that America gun laws somehow led to a victory over British/Canadian forces (which predated the second amendment by 15 years).

Canadians were British subjects well into the 20th century.   Winning some battles in 1812 did not stop those American bastards from consolidating more land across the continent and convincing Britain to abandon British North America...just as the French did.

America loves guns (so does Canada, but that is a different topic).   No guns....no America.

No America....no American TV for Canadians to watch.

Oh God, no!

What would we ever do without American TV? ?

No problem....Canadians already gorge themselves on American social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, etc.) and Google/YouTube.

lol....social media can be from any place in the World. To be honest, humanity was better off without social media or the internet.

Well, don't feel too bad...Canada has contributed Pornhub to the world.

Pornhub is the best porn site on the internet. Everyone watches porn, so there is no shame in this Canadian success story. In fact, my online friend B00mer is one of the top contributors in Alberta.
