Actually, the 6 feet is the distance within which larger droplets fall to the ground, because - gravity.  Smaller droplets (aerosols) can travel significantly farther, especially if from coughing or sneezing.  They can also hang in the air longer than a few minutes, even up to hours.

Actually 6 feet is probably probably the width of most sidewalks.....so I don't think it science based.....

Another Trudeau basher! Why does this website mainly seem to attract the kind of people I love!

Liberals have a sense of entitlement. They think they're entilted to other peoples money.

Dumb and dumber.  Next stop: invisible.

Why don't you look after yourself or find someone that cares about you to do it.....why expect the strangers of society to do it...Because thats probably your only chance....

It is but thats probably not the motive....The motive is probably this santa clause syndrome where people probably can't connect the dots...when unemployment is at record lows you should be running a surplus for when bad times arrive ....not spending money to get votes. the system is totally out of whack where debtors are rewarded and savers are punished with low interest rates....People are easily fooled.....lets pay people to stay at home then hire foreigners to work on farms to keep food prices low....Its all common sense...not convenient  truths....The Piper needs to be paid.....and I'm Out....

1. I do like the idea that we should be prudent, however it also makes sense to spread large capital expenditures for infrastructure over their lifetime in some ways.  Just an idea, though.  Also 'spending' needs to be drilled down.  Does the government play Santa Claus ?  Most definitely.  Does the opposition paint all spending as wasteful ?  Also true.  Does the public love white elephants.  Well, often yes.  Is there discussion of the value of programs often enough ?  I would say... not seriously, no.
2. People are paid to stay at home and not infect each other...
3. Farm worker programs are pretty old, and we have depended on them for years.  The farm lobby has a whole Ministry to help them out too.
4. Congrats.

Moral of the story:  people are stupid.

And sadly base ideas on emotions when they should base ideas on facts....here is one...When Obama was president and the democrats controlled both houses they didn't think of passing gun laws. But now that they don't control the houses they blame the Republicans.

Sadly people form opinions by just reading the headline and not the story.....Sometimes you just have to say I don't know!!!

People are also lazy and like to blame others for their problems...which makes the problem hard to solve and linger for the rest of their lives

The moral of the story is that people are stupid, but ALL people.  All groups are susceptible to their own myths, and all of us individuals are also.  Your job is to identify the mistakes you yourself make and align yourself better with reality IMO.

Some people are dumber than others.  But people on the left and right generally are filled with stupid people who deal in emotion over evidence.  So basically, we agree.

It's nice to try to come to an agreement, but let's be honest here: leftists are fact-averse morons.

CNN lied for 3 full years about Russian collusion and they never apologized. They didn't just go along for 3 years saying that they were waiting for evidence to come in - they were saying that they had the evidence and that it was proven. That was a lie that they repeated hundreds of times. They also lied and said that people had been charged and convicted for election meddling when they were charged for a bunch of things but only found guilty of tax fraud and other things. They neglected the fact that senior FBI officials were fired and demoted for their unscrupulous behaviour. They laughed at Trump and called him a liar for saying that the Dems/FBI were wiretapping him, and while the terminology he was dated, he was in effect 100% correct. The MSM and Obama never apologized for calling him a liar or for lying to us but they're just so slimy that all we expect from them is lies. We would just be asking them to apologizing for being themselves.

That's just  a partial list of CNN's lies re: Russian collusion. Then there's their continuous lies about every other topic of the past 3 years. If you turn on CNN right now I can promise you that they are telling you a lie about something, I just don't know what topic they're on.

The main players in America's MSM have all been busted for punching down and lying about a high school kid who was just doing a pro-life protest. That's literally THE MOST PATHETIC THING that any media outlet anywhere on earth has done, maybe ever.

Don't give an inch to leftists, they're the biggest bunch of sheep in the history of the earth. The fact that they couldn't collectively just reject the idea of "defund Police" out of hand just illustrates their vast ignorance and stupidity. I couldn't trust a leftist to train my dog to eat dog food, they're just that useless and stupid.

There's a ton of fact-averse right-wingers too.  Anti-vaxxers, anti-mask fools etc.  And yes tons of stupid leftist sheep.  As I said, people are stupid.

The biggest anti-mask fools in the country are Trudeau and Tam, they couldn't see the obvious benefits of masks back when the virus was reputedly extremely dangerous. Masks aren't nearly as important now.

I'd say that anti-vaxxers were foolish too if there was a vaccine [that was proven to work and to be safe] back when covid had the potential to be a deadly pandemic, but being anti-vaxx now isn't foolish at all.

The actual fools are people who say "1) The drug that has been proven to be safe after millions of people took billions of pills over the past 65 years is suddenly too dangerous to use against covid - based on some recent anecdotal reports. 2) We need to get a new vaccine that's never been tested before, and may not work, and we will give it to everyone, including people in the demographics which have no reason at all to fear covid. We trust that a new vaccine will be proven to be perfectly safe after a small amount of testing."

Just remember, vaccines are still hit-and-miss against the seasonal flus which have been going around for decades, and flu shots have been given to thousands of healthy young people with deadly consequences. You're asking people to take a serious health risk who have nothing to fear from covid.

Also, one of the big attacks against covid was "Trump is trying to make his friends rich!" That was false, because covid is off-patent, but the fact is thet Remdesivir is on patent and it has been 'proven' to be successful against late-stage covid - that's a spensive meatball. The new vaccine will also be patented. Hmmmm, two patented treatments are already trusted to fight covid (one of which hasn't even been invented yet) and an off-patent drug can't get a proper trial....

FYI the term anti-vaxxer carries some clout because it is primarily used to describe people who are too stupid to get their kids vaccinated against thinks like polio, meningitis, etc which are usually fatal and are still possible to catch. The term anti-vaxxer in this context is more like someone who doesn't take Tylenol when they have a minor headache.

Trudeau is a compulsive Liar.....so I,m not sure what he knows or doesn't about masks......Tam should have been fired for making to many mistakes...But I believe she had a secret agenda early on during the pandemic to get here friends all back from China before the travel ban was implemented

Trudeau is a snake why would he circumvent Canadian minimum wage law by paying WE charity workers under the minimum wage....People who are paid are not volunteers. It just shows you his character.

Then he hires Michael Sabia ex ceo of Caisse de depot for Canada's economic recovery plan guess who Caisse owns Mcap who received a sole source contract to administer 1 billion on rents......Caisse also has close ties with Bombardier and SNC......I believe the only reason Trudeau mentions Carney for consulting purposes only!!!!!!! is because he is trusted.
