Border crossings for some but not for others.

That's right...those days are long gone.   Mexico has to deal with it too.    These are sovereign nations with armed borders now, with lots of money being spent to stop all the illegal activity and enforce the law.   Some people think it is a game to be played..over and over again.

At one time our border guards did not carry any guns. Now, how that has changed. I am in agreement that both our borders should not be allowed to become places for illegal activity. If I had my way, anyone crossing the border with a huge amount of drugs or pot should get the death penalty just like what and how things are done in Singapore. It may not stop all of the illegal drug activity completely, but if one knows that if they are caught, and there is a good chance that if they are caught they will be executed, they may just think twice before trying to do such a stupid thing, and it could slow it all down quite a bit.  Hey, we never know, eh?

Recently, four Americans were each fined $1200 in Banff, Alberta for being in Banff for a quick stop off when they were only supposed to travel to or from Alaska to Washington. They violated the Covid 19 restrictions and law, and paid a hefty price for it. The problem for me is how can anyone be fined $1200 for committing such a dreaded crime? Where is the justification for all of these hefty fines that people have had to pay because they broke the Covid 19 law? Boy, it's best to not try and take on this China virus if you do not want to have to pay an arm and leg for violating this bloody hoax virus law. :(

Yep...and that's another reason to keep the border locked down.   If Canada wants to go in a different direction, that's your choice.

The longer and tighter the border is locked down, the more exposed Canada's government will be for policies and dependencies.

Yup, it's hard to disagree with you on that one. I just hope that they do not make it last any longer as I do like to drive and take a trip now and then to some place in America. But my gut feeling is that this border shut down is going to go on a lot longer, and all for nothing but a lie and a hoax. If it were not for having a dyktator like commie Trudeau, Trump would have opened up that border weeks ago.  Trump despises comrade Trudeau big time. That i believe is the reason why the land border may stay closed.

In British Columbia there are many beautiful and scenic locations to go and visit way up north but the problem is that no one is able to drive to them. We are told that there are no roads being built to those many places because the government wants to keep them all as pure and pristine and free of people as much as they can. That is so bloody ridiculous because what is the point of trying to keep them away from people and for future generations to enjoy when no one can even get to those places. We need more roads built to be able to see some of these beautiful places. This province has become one silly ass place to live in, and is full of silly ass people who only want to stop others from enjoying themselves. What a joke.

Good...they screwed up.     There are way too many sob stories concerning this closed border.

Some people think they are extra special.

Contrary to what you said yesterday about being able to go to any state without being quarantined is not going to happen if you plan on going to visit New York state. I saw on the news this morning that anyone wanting to go to New York from another state will have to go into quarantine first. It would appear as though no one is extra special in America anymore if one comes from out of state, and wants to visit New York.  And with murders going up in the city of New York why would anyone want to go to New York city now. If the virus doesn't kill you then someone may kill you. Thanks BLM.

It's not about you or me....many Canadians have long expressed such hatred for the U.S., so much so it is considered a national sport...

No our national sports are:

1-complaining about line-ups at Tim Horton's;

2-complaining about the weather;

3-complaining about taxes

4-sending obese Quebec males in speedos to parade up and down beaches in Florida.

Next may I say I love you and Ah Mare Eekah. Very nice country. Many guns. Much bad beer. Very nice country.

With the number of new infections and hospitalizations climbing south of the border, immigration lawyers on both sides say in the last two to four weeks, they’ve seen a definite increase in Americans wanting to move north.

Our real national sport is watching Canadians trying to be and remain dumb as a rock. Every year Canadians appear to get dumber by the day. And most Canadians have become so dumb downed that we now see many of them social distancing and wearing face diapers on their face wherever they go. Now those two are real dumb sports that most Canadians like to play. And now we all have to play this new sport of not being able to cross each other's borders anymore by vehicle. I guess that this is what the new normal will be. And if some Canadian does go into America and comes back they will have to imprison and quarantine themselves for 14 wonderful and beautiful days. Nice weather outside? Tough noogies for you, mac.

Lineups anywhere is bloody ridiculous. Allowing so many people in a store at one time will not stop the spread of this so called China virus. Two people walking around in a store can do that easily enough with no problem. I just cannot wait and see what our dear comrade leaders have in store for us come the fall. Maybe a new Covid #20? They sure are trying to make it appear that this may be so in the fall.  Hey, we never know, eh?

The weather is always the shits in Canada. Three months of summer, if we are lucky, and nine months of fall and winter. And now we can't even drive across the border from Canada into America anymore. Some so called essential people are allowed but ordinary people are not. As if those that are allowed to cannot bring back the virus into each others countries. Oh, I forgot? Essential workers are the ones that the China virus will avoid at all costs.

I have never heard one Canadian here or out there, except for me of course, who has ever brought up the topic about how our tax dollars are being blown every day. Nobody here really gives a crap about how their tax dollars are being wasted anyway here. You are one of them. As a matter of fact, I believe that you are one person here that loves to see their taxes go up or given some new tax. Complaining about taxes is the last thing that you will ever hear or see here. Tax me more, says all Canadians. Buffoons.

The closing down of the borders must be costing plenty of businesses on both sides of the border to be or now have gone bankrupt. Was it worth it? NOPE. But ask our dear comrade politicians, or the lying media, or some so called health Czar if they really care? NOPE. They could careless about what is or is not good enough for us. They love their new found powers and control over we the sheeple, and they are not about to give up that power anymore if they can help it. I believe that our borders will be closed until the globalists get us all to end up taking an injection of some of their useless vaccines that will only in the end make the globalists and big pharma even richer. It's all about the money, honey!!

So, why are truckers, and other people that are considered essential, and now people who have families in America or Canada are allowed to go back and forth across the Canadian/American border with no problems while people like myself are still not allowed to cross the border. There are thousands of truckers going back and forth across the border every day, along with so called essential people, and now there are people with families living on both sides of the border whom are now being allowed to cross each others borders to visit family without any concern of spreading the China virus by both governments.

Is this fair? Is this right? Are truckers, and essential people, and now people with families somehow deemed safe enough to be able to go back and forth across the border without bringing the China virus back and forth with them from each other's countries every day? This just does not make much sense to me anymore this ban on not being able to go to the states for a day or a weeks visit. I see tens of thousands of Canadians driving every day around the city, going here and going there, and possibly spreading the China virus everywhere around, with no concern about spreading the virus by our governments, but yet it is all okay for others to do so.

Am I supposed to be some kind of a threat of spreading the virus and thus that is why I am not allowed to cross the American border for a days or for a weeks visit. And what I am getting from Bonny Boo, BC's health guru these days? She pretty much has said that she would like to keep it that way. She probably hates America anyway like most leftist liberal socialist and communists do so she could careless about little old me. She probably has not gone to America for decades now nor has any plans soon to do so. But I will bet that it will be okay for her to go to America if she wants to. Just not poor Visit site!!

Am I going to be kept a prisoner in my own country for a very long time now? There are hundreds of thousands of Canadians that use to be able to go back and forth across the border into America pretty much every day who have now been denied that access to America anymore. What the hell? It looks like for myself and hundreds of thousands of other Canadians who are not truckers, essential workers, and who do not have family members in America, well I guess that we are all just plain shit out of luck? I have always enjoyed my driving trips to Oregon, Las Vegas and Arizona, and now I cannot do that anymore.    What say you? Are you happy or sad that the border has been shut down to some people and not others? Just wondering. ;)

I understand that you are frustrated with the current border restrictions and feel that they are unfair. It is important to remember that the decisions regarding border restrictions are made with public health and safety in mind, and are subject to change based on the evolving situation.

Truckers and other essential workers are exempt from border restrictions because they are necessary to keep supply chains and essential services running. Similarly, allowing families to reunite across the border is considered an important exception to the restrictions, as it supports the mental and emotional well-being of individuals and families.

It is true that there are risks associated with people crossing the border, regardless of their reason for doing so. However, measures such as mandatory testing and quarantine requirements can help to mitigate these risks.

I cannot speak to the views or opinions of specific individuals, such as Bonnie Henry. However, it is important to approach discussions about border restrictions with an open mind and a willingness to consider the perspectives and needs of all individuals and groups involved.

Ultimately, the decision to maintain or lift border restrictions will depend on a variety of factors, including vaccination rates, infection rates, and government policies. I hope that the situation will improve soon and that you will be able to resume your travels in the future.

Risks to who? I mean if you're choosing to travel to the US, you aren't putting any Canadians at risk other than yourself. I don't understand how I could travel in countries that are far more dangerous.

From my understanding as of today, Canadian truck drivers that have not been vaccinated cannot enter America. Their lives have been shattered. They have lost plenty of money.

Public safety and health had nothing to do with it. How can there have been so many stupid Canadians out there believe that closing the border was a safe thing to do. Did people actually believe that viruses will not cross any borders unless viruses asked if they can do so first? How did closing the border stop any covid virus from entering either country?

As far as I know, viruses do not obey boundary's or covid like rules. Viruses come and go as they please. The whole shut down the border thing was one big farce and a joke on we the sucker peasants. Sadly, most Canadians will believe anything their dear comrade leaders and the lying MSM tells them. Such gullible fools indeed. Pathetic people indeed. ?

They are also political. We can't pretend otherwise. Many of the decisions made during covid were not based in science.

What a shame the gov't didn't share your view during covid. We might have gotten out of it without dividing the country beyond hope of repair. But - that is what happened.

The gov't weaponized covid to divide people, federally to win an election and provincially in bc because of political ideology.  And it is no exaggeration at all to say we are now a country that's angrier, more divided, and more hostile than ever in our entire history and that's probably not going back.

Actually, I don't see a problem with Canadians coming into the United States, either for business or vacation, or even to move here. Certainly those truckers aren't this.

It is not Canadians that are illegally crossing into America by the tens of thousands every day. It is now a mass of third world criminal illegals that are doing just that. The figures run from between 5 and 8 million criminal illegals that have entered America illegally since senile old anti-America and corrupt Joe BiDumb took office. Trump secured the border. This dumb chit BiDumb unsecured the border. America is in big time trouble. The great white replacement planned agenda is on the move. In another decade or so, America is going to look more like some third world hell hole country.

I should talk of course because the same thing is happening in Canada also. Old whitey is being replaced by non-whites and this has been happening for several decades now here in Canada. In another decade our white children grand children will be working for the non-white man. Believe it or not. ?

Because if those non-white people keeps coming to North America by the hundreds of thousands or millions every year, then the white folk have a very good chance of becoming a white minority in their own white homeland. Turning North America into another third world hell hole where we will see the many races and ethnicity's fighting for a piece of the north American turf. it will happen guaranteed. So you consider Canada a “white homeland”.   What makes it one?

You think it’s the colour of one’s skin that determines their worth?

How the hell would I know? Do you know what they were thinking? They got along very well when they both met each other. All I know is that the Native Indians are far better off today than they were living in their ancestral past thanks to the white man coming along. The white man wanted to educate the Native Indians into preparing themselves for the modern world. And do not forget that it was the white man that put an end to their killing of each other. The white man saved a lot of Indian lives. It would appear as though the white man believed that Native Indian lives matter too.

So, what do you think they were thinking? Just asking.

Well, there can be no way of denying that it was the white man that brought many countries and civilization's from living in ancient and backward times and into the modern world. As a white man myself, I am kind of proud of that. Why should I not be? Over to you.

Built? By destroying other civilizations.

White men were also responsible for the two most destructive wars in history.

So you are a white supremacist.

Side note - not sure you can make that claim. As far as people and cities destroyed as a percent of the total in existance at the time i think the mongols and the huns would probably get that honour, followed by the persians.

Of course - you could play with the definition of 'war' a little to make any of them fit or not.

Edit - and if ww2 was one of your 'most destructive wars' i think you have to give the japanese equal credit with 'whitey'.

There is a lot of debate over how many the Mongols killed, some of the claims are ridiculous like the one about killing 1.78 million people in one hour. That would mean killing almost 30,000 a minute. Even the NAZI's with all their death camps and Einsatzgruppen couldn't come close to that. Between 70 and 85 million died as a result of WW2.

If taxme wants to save the white race they better start having babies because we would be turning into a declining population of geezers without immigration.
