Why doesn't the world just stop using the US dollar?

Recommended Posts

One of the many excuses that anti-US people give, including in Canada, to justify why they cannot stop the evils of the US is because the world still uses the American dollar.... IF SO, why doesn't the world just stop using it then? I have also been told that certain Middle Eastern nations have tried this but their countries were reduced to chaos. America cannot conspire against each nation all at once, America cannot attack everyone all at once; they simple do not have the resources. If the world attempted this, their economy would be greatly diminished thus preventing them from declaring war, invasions, bombing raids, etc. and thus slowly eliminating the threat from a US retaliatory response. The world would be successful if this was done.

Now, Canadians, why haven't you done this yet?

Seriously Canadians, what is up with these excuses that you cannot do it because of X,Y and Z? Do you want to stop them or not? I don't understand how you could have mustered enough courage to take on Germany and Japan and these were powerful nations at that time. And if you don't want to stop them then why are you complaining? Why is humanity complaining?

These are obvious solutions to really simple problems that for some reason humanity wants to make complicated.

Oh look another "new" poster starting off a thread pissing on the US and calling it evil. That's original. These attempts to engage in multiplying names that come on this forum, incite anti American responses and then have  the thread starter vanishing, are clumsy repetitive because it's a bot with a programmed script fishing for names and trying to incite anti American comments.  Whether it wants names of anti Americans or is just trying to incite I do not know but its latest cycle commenced at the beginning of the Covid 19 issues. This bot has polluted the board posing as a forum member. It's not a human. The script is preprogrammed and sent to numerous forums. it has tried to dominate the US sections. When that did not work in other subject areas very well so it moved on.it always heads back to the US threads and if you challenge it, it vanishes then shows up yet again with a new name and anti US pretext.

You will never see it go more than a fixed no. of posts orvanswer directly anyone's comments. It can respond to specific words but the responses will be generic and limited. The syntax, use of headlines, identical.

This is powerful, but it is a very nonsensical theme you published here.  There's already an exact movement like this underway, for a decade, and it's called the BRICs nations but go notice how many nations refuse to join in since it launched nearly 2 decades ago.

Your fundamental, fatal, flaw is that you did not consider how most of those countries you are referring to, greatly  depend on the USA for social aid $$$ and humanitarian relief $$$ and most of all they need USA military protection from rogue regimes.  Therefore it's not about why they won't just stop using the USD, no not at all, that is because it's all about how they love the USD so they refuse to stop using it lol.

It's dead. The headline, lead in, talking to your multiple voices...done.  the Nevada sun dried them out.

Are you suggesting our mint is printing greenbacks?  In any case it looks like the US mint is printing more yuans than anything.

UpThe thread suggests the US is evil and for your any of uourcrespobses be predicated on that assumption. It trolls by limiting answers to having to conform to one premises.

It's been repeated on this forum continuously with clumsy lead in to the  Tdot labelled anti US rants. The syntax on all the lead ins is CV identical to those under the Tdot label.

If you do get a response trust me it won't be from Nevada.

The premises of the thread is deliberately stupid to fish for anti US responders.

The US's monetary hegemony is not only based on its economic power but backed by its military power as well.

Now due to the rise of China, the US's economic power is shaken but has not collapsed yet, meanwhile its military power remains strong.  Using US's naval forces for example:

US navy has 11 active aircraft carriers. Other countries in the world have: China 2 + France 1 + India 1 + Russia 1 + UK 2 = total 7, and any of them can't match an US carrier.

But just like USSR, if US's economy collapses, its military power will collapse sooner or later. This is why US is very nervous to China's new economic power regardless Chinese goal is peaceful or not.

Combining the power of the rest of the world to bring US $ down is impossible even if all other countries are willing to do so, because the negotiations may take many years to reach an agreement, and US will certainly to bring down some weak countries by its financial even military powers to make examples to others which want to join the agreement.

But the rise of China does give other nations leverages when they bargain with US. This is why Trump prefers to take on China by US itself rather than with US's allies together. Because the costs of being blackmailed by these so-called allies exceed the costs of doing it by US itself.
