Evan Solomon Starts Sounding Like Your Typical CTV Moron

It must be contagious.  It didn't take that long for his true color to show.   They're circling the wagon.  Protecting Trudeau!

It's bad enough that last Sunday on Question Period, he tried to put Peter McKay on the hot seat (but McKay pushed back and made Solomon looked like a non-credible pundit)......but yesterday, he tried to twist legalities around this guy from Alberta, regarding Bill 1 (particularly the protests/blockades happening now).

“[Bill 1] imposes stiff new penalties on law breakers who purposefully block critical, essential infrastructure, such as railways, roadways, telecommunication lines, utilities, oil and gas production and refinery sites, pipelines, and related infrastructure,”

Solomon keeps arguing that it infringes on the right to protest!   WHICH PART OF "ESSENTIAL," IS TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

Even after the guy explained that they cannot block highways and train tracks - Solomon still insisted on the right to protest.   PARDON ME?   What about the PEOPLE's  right that these protesters are preventing from being exercised?

Why are they preventing people from going to places?  People lose incomes, businesses lose money etc.....just because these THUGS intimidate and prevent the rights of others from being exercised!

Evan, I don't care about their f***ing grievances!   They have to exercise their freaking right to protest without stepping on others' right!

Moron.

It's a good thing the CPC wasn't in power for this. Their reaction would have been worse than Oka and we would have ongoing protests for years to come as a result.

That's why this thing is happening!   Because it's not the CPC that's in power........ it's weakling Trudeau that they're dealing with!  Lol.  Look at all his ministers on tv  - they all look weak, too!  They're fumbling.  They're the reflection of their leader!

Imagine - Trudeau even reassured them that he wouldn't use the military!  You gotta wonder if he was stoned with his cannabis when he said that!

Lol.   Just now, addressed to Garneau - someone's bringing up terrorism in comparison.  How can it not be compared to terrorism?

If nothing changes, I bet in the end, Trudeau will be eating his words, and he'll be using the military!

Trying to use force and violence would backfire horribly and make the situation worse exponentially, probably for years to come. It would be horrible. The only way out is to be firm but reasonable. By the way it's going, I think it will all be done soon.

It's okay to be firm and reasonbale.   Lol, but what happens if being firmly reasonable is being ignored?

Like - when Trudeau said, "this is unacceptable.  Blockades must come down."  Did it make any difference? No.

IN THE END.....the OPP stepped in and physically removed the protesters!

Protest is speech.  Interfering with infrastructure you don't own isn't speech and is already illegal i assumed, but maybe there's a lack of specifics in the law they want to address.

Nobody is telling protestors to be quiet, they're telling them to get off the tracks. You have no constitutional right to protest when it's interfering with the rights of others.

Solomon argues that the infrastructures mentioned like highways and train tracks are public places!  Therefore he says, they should be able to hang out in those places to protest, because it's their right!   Even after the Alberta guy explained that they can do their protest on sidewalks!

How can you reason with that kind of "oblique" thinking? giggle.gif

The Trudeau-loving media are trying to deflect the blame from Trudeau's incompetence by shifting the focus on Conservatives!  He's trying to smear and paint the Conservatives in a bad light -  in his own stupid way!

People should protest against his comment by hanging out  on the sidewalk, and blocking the front of his drive-way.   Sidewalks are public places, right?  Let's see how he'll react to that.

What "will all be done" is a moving target that will certainly shift a little but there will always be things that remain to be done.  I do think consent will be given to Gaslink's pipeline at which point the alliance between environmentalists and Indigenous people will enter a new phase. I've seen this in Clayoquot Sound in the War of the Woods that pitted environmentalists and Indigenous allies against logging companies and the provincial government.  Indigenous people do intend to log following treaty settlements but I think environmentalists are prepared for that and realize negotiating will be the better course.  I think that more pragmatic environmentalists realize there will still be resources being used including the development of infrastructure required to use them but they also realize that having a strong Indigenous voice, with the capacity to veto, will make the protection of local regional environmental values easier than if all the decisions are handled by so-called senior governments often located hundreds and thousands of miles from the regions affected by these decisions.

If Indigenous interests start trying to behave like big greedy corporations with no regard for the environment they too will find themselves being blockaded just as fast and by their own people too.

Reconciliation is the key to better more effective environmental protection which is why big governments and the lobbyists whispering in their ears are so terrified of it and have dragged their heels for so long on it.

Quote

As Senator Murray Sinclair said to me recently, when you speak to most senior government officials, bureaucrats and captains of industry, they have been raised to believe Indigenous people have no rights. “And they’ve had a history of 150 years of court decisions that have supported that very principle that Indigenous people have no rights and that their rights are non-enforceable in Canadian law,” Mr. Sinclair said.

“Therefore, when they see Indigenous people protesting against the taking of their land or demanding more recognition of their traditional territorial rights, they see that as an unreasonable position, as a position that is going to go nowhere and is just stopping good ideas and good development and is preventing them from making money.”

Evan Solomon reports that there are still blockades popping up.   How can they deal with that?

Lol, if only Mr Big Mouth knew enough to not have opened his mouth even bigger - by REASSURING PROTESTERS HE'LL NEVER BRING IN THE MILITARY!

How should they deal with this?   Simple!  Arrest and slap them with a very heavy fine!  Inciters and leaders, should also be locked up!   You've got to treat this as a very serious crime!  Treat them as you would anarchists and terrorists!

And, tell the stupid bleeding hearts to freakin' stfu!

Come on, eh. The so called conservative party appears to be just as far to the left as the liberals are. But besides that. I can be pretty sure that the if the conservative party sat back and did do nothing about these pipeline protests like Trudeau is doing they would be soundly criticized by the alt-left liberal bought off Canadian media. The headlines would say Scheer refuses to do anything about these protests while the country burns. The leftist liberal media in Canada are such a bunch of useless bottom feeding hypocrites.  Indeed, it is lucky for the conservative party that they are not in power. The rest of the gang of useless misfits in the other political party's would be all over Scheer. Do something will you Scheer. What a country. ;)

I always picture Trudeau sitting on his thrown, and being stoned out of his mind, and on his left are his gay buddies, and on the right is his Muslim buddies. ;)

Moron.

Trudeau is the "Teflon Don" of Canada. He has become quite untouchable. Maybe the CRA can get him on some tax evasion like they did with John Gotti.

These so called journalists like Solomon have their questions already prepared for whomever they are about to interview. And if one is a conservative, then one will get the liberal elite establishment dirty tricks treatment. A conservative has no chance against these morons like Solomon. The alt-left liberal media people will treat that conservative with total contempt. It will never be a fair game with those morons. They are great at cheating.

The only ones that have a right to protest are the tiny minority of special interest groups that the lieberal elite establishment like to support, and who try and get morons like Solomon to support their right to protest. This country is so f'd up thanks to the fools that keep voting in those liberal and socialist morons. Thanks Toronto. Thanks Maritimes. You are the main reason why we get the anarchy and the illegal protests that we get that disrupt other people's lives and even survival. What is with those fools anyway? Why do they keep wanting to make their lives more miserable than what it was/is already? They have to be really into S & M.

A small minority of terrorists always seem to get away with trying to wreck and who are really trying to de-industrialize this once great nation. There is nothing wrong with protesting but protest where you do not interfere and get in the way in the lives of other every day hard working people from going about their own business. I cannot go out in the middle of the traffic and try to stop all movement of traffic for very long. I would be arrested on the spot. Whether I am one or whether there is a dozen. All should be arrested, and not treated with approval and respecting their rights to commit hairy-carey like these eco-terrorists are getting away with. But what can we the people expect from people like Solomon. He is one of many journalists that are on the payroll of Emperor Trudeau(taxpayer"s).

.....and, of course.................... dramatically sprawled by his feet -  his "equally-represented" females!  Harem-like:lol:

He must have the coolest bong!
