Does the US really want the third world war to start?

Recommended Posts

Currently, in America they are working on building of medium-range missiles, and they also recognize that anti-missile defense facilities deployed in Romania and Poland, after conversion, allow the launch of offensive missiles instead of defensive ones. Does the US really want the third world war to start?

Unlikely that Aegis Ashore with nuclear TLAM option would incite an exchange over the pole,  as the Russians would still be annihilated by massive retaliation, a more realistic scenario would be a theater thermonuclear war in Europe.

Russia has displayed their hypersonic missile technology, so the US must counter their move. In fact I have worked it out in an equation, For every political action, an equal and opposite reaction + 1. Therefore the US must do something MORE than that, they will do it soon. That is how technological progress gets made.

But it can lead to arms race again.. Everyone wants to show how cool they are and in the end Hiroshima events will repeat

In the OP, the final question is unsupported by the first two sentences.

Sure the US is working on their weapons systems. That doesn't mean that they "want" WWIII to start.

But the stuff that the authorities and D. Trump constantly show the world.. makes one doubt the simple "working on their weapons systems". I think the US will just kill us all and only white will survive

Wow.

I think you need to get a beer (not an American one) and chill West.  Come on. To take anything Trump says literally or  as having ANY meaning is kind of silly.

Clearly the US has established the POTUS is not running the country. Whoever is just uses Trump noises to keep  people like us distracted from the actual agenda.

Trump hasn't been able to hold down a security advisor, Defence Secretary, State Secretary or UN Ambassador. He can't find anyone to work in his cabionet and has "acting" secretaries that quit every six months.

Please don't think this man runs anything but his own delusions.

The actual state of the West is not being decided by him or his alliance with Kim, his toady act with Putin,  his hot air with China. Global economic markets run by God knows who, determine our fate. What is apparent is that China's economy can't grow anymore. Its gone as far as it can go and is beginning to shrink and as it does, each percentage point of shrinkage causes millions in internal unemployment and eventually an internal revolution because its economy is a stack of dominoes and always was. Its just a pyramid scheme and its beginning to teeter. On the other side of the coin are a mess of disorganized, ever changing alliances of economic interest consortiums forming and  breaking up in mutual interest alliances. What we now see is The US engaging in aggressive financial policies after years of allowing nations like China, Japan, and the EU get good trade with it. It now wants more to compensate for all the cheap labour jobs that have been sent off shore. The US realizes its turning into a specialist economy and can no longer depend as it did like China on cheap labour. Its allowed its clothing, food and certain manufacturing interests t3o go offshore and in return is trying to recapture revenue from more its advances in information technology and military hardware often one and the same.

I think you will see in the coming years massive unemployment all over the world as we switch to specialist economies in the first world and the second and third world scramble for what is left over.

Right now in Canada, our immigration policy is designed to bring in and capture fast food and minimum wage workers to replace born in Canada citizens who won't consider such jobs and expect the government to finance their schooling which is being extended into their thirties due to specialization.

Something has to give and it probably means in the next fifty years a growing alienated and uneducated sector of permanently unemployed individuals who could not make the transition.

This has nothing to do with Trump. He's just a blip in a massive movement of historic events way beyond the control of him or anyone. The motion was set long before any present day politician came into their brief tenures as elected leaders.

Really Rue?

Do you remember the list of promises that he made before he was elected and how many of those things he has already done?

Whether he's just a figurehead or he has actual power, the things that he told the American people he would do are getting done somehow.

I don't doubt that there are people behind the scenes, whose names we don't know, who have far more power than they should, but Trump's agenda is moving fwd.

If Trump has his way there will be no wars created anywhere in the world on his watch. There are some generals in the American military who would like to start up another war somewhere on earth like Iran. But Trump nixed that idea. Trump is a business President, and not a war President. Unlike Hillary who would have probably started a war with Russia by now. It is said that she wanted to start and have a war with Russia. The democrats wanted a war with Russia. Look at how much they hate Russia. What a dumb blonde that biotch is. As long as Trump is President America will not be getting involved in any third world wars. Trump believes in talking, and not fighting. Trump is truly a master at the art of the deal. :)

Trump may represent a threat to all that, as it is the very things he opposes. That might explain why the system seems hell bent for leather on vilifying him, with his every move. He is the next antichrist like Napoleon, Hitler, Mao Zedong, Lee Kuan, and Kodos.

The threat of global thermonuclear war over the pole is an issue of false warning, extremely unlikely that any of the three nuclear powers will intentionally initiate an exchange.

The two times we've come closest to a thermonuclear war was in 1979 and 1983, and it both cases it was a false alarm caught at the last moment.

Theater thermonuclear war in Europe is much more likely, in and around the Black Sea, the primary target for the Russians being Aegis Ashore in Romania.

That was Obama tho, Cold War Two started when Bush withdrew from ABM' 72, then Obama doubled down with INF enabled BMD in the Black Sea.

Trump hasn't actually done anything to escalate from there, although he hasn't deescalated neither.

The question you should be asking is: what is the world going to do about it?!!!!

Yes, what if the US wants WW3, what then? Does Canada have a contingency plan?

Control is a delusion, Canada is in no man's land over the pole, there's nothing Canada has ever been able to do about it.

Canadians should be doing something about it especially when they are the ones complaining.

It's way above Canada's pay grade. Canada is a passenger in this, Canada wouldn't even be struck directly with any gusto, Canadians will die by fallout from the CONUS.

I'm not complaining mind you, I was a Cold Warrior,  I embrace the Balance the Terror.

For example, I am at least 100 klicks west of Toronto, so if Toronto is struck with even a multi megaton thermonuclear strike, that's not going to effect me.

In fact, I could drive down to the escarpment and spectate from here, viewing the mushroom cloud from a safe distance, the fallout all blows east.

The bombs that are going to kill me, are the ones that hit Chicago, as prevailing winds will drop that fallout on Southern Ontario as radioactive black rain within hours.

This will not be a quick death mind you, it's not like in the movies where you are just vaporized in an instant.

In actual fact the nuclear explosion itself is quite survivable, contrary to popular sentiment Duck & Cover can actually save you in the moment.

What is going to kill you in the end, is strontium-90.   It bonds to calcium, you inevitably ingest it, then you die slowly of bone cancer.

Well, and you will see that this "blip", as you say,  in the face of Trump someday will destroy us. just like it was with Japan in 1945 in Hiroshima..
