Republicans are leading in enough house races that attaining 216, or two seats shy of the majority is now projected.

I said Cite.

As of early Wednesday morning, NBC News estimated Democrats would hold 227 seats and Republicans would have 208 in the next Congress. The projection could change.

I've always liked Dubya, was happy when he was elected and re-elected. I guess until he allowed the economy to be tanked.

Just pointing out that a Veep that's really in charge isn't without precedent.

Again...it doesn't matter either way...as long as you are dependent on what any American president "allows" with the economy.   See the trend here ?  It is not going to change.

Gee sounds like the George W Bush administration.

Donald trump is the only President in history that kept all his promises and made America great again. G. Bush was just your typical deep state rat. He did nothing for America except to keep America in foreign wars for years. Even old man Bush said himself one time that if the American people knew as to what they the deep state was doing they would hang us all. Lucky that American traitor is long gone now. I wonder if he has located traitor John McCain in hell yet? Just wondering. ;)

Kept promises eh? What prison is Hillary in? Where's the Wall?

How does he do that.  He doesn’t write legislation, and the Democrats only have a one seat advantage in the house now.  Regardless, mid term elections are owned by Republicans, especially if they don’t occupy the White House.  Good try though!

Well, I bow to your superior knowledge of the US political system, of course, but I'm sure President Harris oops, Biden, will find a way to work such things to their advantage.

Given the full count of votes goes their way, of course.

But Canada isn't ten times our size, and never will be.   China is our #1 trading partner now...not Canada.   And the U.S. is far less dependent and far more diversified for trade than Canada.    That's why you watch....that's why it matters...not "Canadian values" about being loved so much in the world.

In terms of 2020 total US trade:  Mexico is #1 at China #2, Canada #3 but they are all basically the same amount of total US trade (14%) with little difference between the numbers.

HOWEVER:  Canada is clearly your number 1 export market at nearly 18%, Mexico is second at almost 15% and China is a distant third at 7.8%

https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/statistics/highlights/top/top2009yr.html#total

Last year Canada was also ahead of China in Exports as well as Total trade

And today you learned something!

They love Trump at NASA/JPL...and the military, of course.

Space Force (USSF)...much fun poked at...was probably the greatest achievement. Every branch of the military had its own space interests...plus NASA...SpaceX (and a few others). Now they coordinate...properly.

For example...the 45th Missile Wing was USAF...now 45th Space Wing USSF.

No, I already knew how dependent Canada was on U.S. exports (75%), Yankee capital investment, and 50% of corporate/manufacturing ownership.

And if it is a President Biden, he will kick Canada in the nuts too with a continuation of the Obama era "Buy American" policy.    He will just be nicer when he does it....Canadians like to be told they are loved when they are getting screwed.

This is interesting:

Basically a bunch of Republican were trying to monitor the vote counting at this - what looks like - a convention center. They got stopped at the door for being out of state but they could access a viewing area behind a window.

As has been stated Trump was in a comfortable lead when they supposedly shut down the polls last night. At around 4 pm the magic happens. A flood of people dragging wagons, carrying things like coolers or pillow cases full of ballots suddenly arrive. The sudden throng of ballot un-uniformed ballot deliverers is immediately noticeable.

And just like that Michigan flips from red to blue.

And now Fox news has video of them blocking the windows so nobody can see inside.

Flat out, no ballots should be accepted after the polls close on election day. FROM ANYWHERE.

Historically it's how elections can be stolen:

Quote

Richard Grenell, the former acting Director of National Intelligence, said the pause on vote-counting was “very suspicious.”

A Twitter follower replied to Grenell: “I’m in Bolivia now. Have lived here before. This is exactly how Communists stole the vote here. The Communists were on pace to lose, then they stopped giving updates on votes. Then a couple days later announced they won.”

What about Military ballots?

BTW Trump and Co are more than happy having counting continue in Arizona and Nevada. Wonder why?

Apparently you didn’t know, since you stated something that is plainly false. Just admit you were wrong and put away the sharpie it’s not fooling anyone

Nope....it's always better to get Canada to admit and realize that they are no longer America's #1 trading partner...and fading.   Isn't globalism great ?!

Diversify....find true love elsewhere.

Interesting what happens when you count the Mail-In Votes that are well documented online.

At four in the morning after they closed the polls? In a sudden storm? And if you watch the video of them you'll immediately notice these people is they're not officials. They're just people from off the street with sacks of ballots. And are you saying there were no mail-in ballots before they closed the polls, before the sudden 4 in the morning flip?

And there's no security once they get into the conference hall. They can walk into the counting room with their sacks and coolers as they choose.

Arizona and Nevada are in different time zones. They're still counting votes from before the polling stations closed last night. Yes they were from Republican districts but there's no contradiction there as those are votes that were accepted before the polls closed. Ballots from after the polls closed are what would be contested.

I'm not up on exactly how or why the military exemption works. Maybe there should be some sort of posting date rule that allows for different problems in delivery though.

Military ballots weren't what tubby ladies in second winter jackets were pulling on wagons or carrying in coolers into the Wayne County voting stations though.

There’s no “death panel” of government bureaucrats deciding who can or can’t have life-saving treatment. Full stop.

You can't have a medicare program and just leave it open-ended at "What you want is what you get". Full stop.

When a 75 yr old comes in for a 5th triple-bypass they're not going to get it. No system could survive that level of expenses.

A Dr will look at an x-ray of that clogged-up ticker and say "You probably don't need to buy the 4-litre jug of milk."
